Unfortunately, after having done a great job, Tulsi Gabbard will be leaving the Administration on June 30th. Her wonderful husband, Abraham, has been recently diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, and she, rightfully, wants to be with him, bringing him back to good health as they currently fight a tough battle together. They’ve made a lot of people filthy, stinking rich while a lot of other people have died agonizing deaths.
This probably not the best place to air the cancer issue regarding the Healthcare Industrial Complex. When the word “Rare” and cancer is talked about it gets even more scary and disconcerting (first hand knowledge being in Tulsi’s shoes) than anyone can appreciate. I think for both Abraham and Tulsi stepping away from the pressure cooker is the best decision. Navigating the system takes more than expert knowledge. It takes faith and pray and fasting and still things get real tough.
My prayer for Abraham and Tulsi is:

Besides helping to get a lot of people off tobacco products, the five-year survival rate for cancer has increased by 36% since 1975. That’s only 50 years. It’s probably 99.999% since 1913. Not perfect, but that’s how it’s measured.
I hope Trump listens to Tulsi’s advice on a successor. She has done incredible work dismantling the silo system. She recently moved to have the entire FISA opinion on Section 702 abuse de-classified.
She has laid out a path for her successor to follow, and I hope Trump can find someone strong enough to continue her work.

Ironically, my MD wife from Riga who has worked in cancer research in NOLA and saved many lives with new research treatments since 2003,… in 2018 she was diagnosed with stage four Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Due to her medical experience, she abhors Chemotherapy and has taken radiation treatments that worked well enough until 2025 when three different Oncologists along with my Oncologist cousin from Johns Hopkins told her,… take Chemo now or you’ll meet Jesus in six months.
The good news after much prayer and efforts is that her last two Screening Scans are clean after all the chemo,….. but that has also left her with the side effects of high blood pressure, arthritis, etc.
Regardless, I am thankful now even though she’s not out of the woods yet and I agree that Ms Gabbard is doing the right thing, regardless of the state of our nation. This trying ordeal has left us in extreme financial straights, but what is wealth compared to the irreplaceable life and love of a devoted spouse for 30+ years.
I hope Tulsi and Abraham benefit from all of our prayers and like Mr. Morrison’s touching and truthful lyrics and song.
If you ever wanted to check whether you are on the right side, not just the Right side, of history then one only has to compare Tulsi’s statement with the jackal-like gloating, and rumour mongering responses, from the other.
