I can see it now. The dems load the court with 6 liberal/crazy judges. The Republicans take control in the next election and repeal the expansion and keep judges based on seniority. I mean if you can expand by legislation then you can reduce it, too. That said the Republicans would never actually have the backbone to do it. But it would be fun.
It raises an interesting question. Let’s say they pack the court, but then they lose control two years later and GOP moves to reverse it. Those court appointments are lifetime appointments. So it ends up in court, and eventually in the SCOTUS, where the new packed justices vote that the packing was constitutional, but the reversal is unconstitutional?
This is the problem with there being no real check on SCOTUS. And let’s remember that the Constitution never gave the SCOTUS the authority of judicial review – the SCOTUS gave the SCOTUS that.
We the People are the check and balance…. slowly at first and then all at once! 🇺🇲

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
Day 122 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius. History is being made in the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2026.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.

Well, my wife and I lived in Brentwood, California for most of our lives. We went through Covid, unvaccinated, of course.
The police could not arrest the 60 homeless tent people for which there were really more of about 100 people doing drugs and stealing your stuff.
Eventually, the head of the sheriffs department got them removed, and he got fired literally by the city of Los Angeles and the mayor.
We moved to Naples Florida 2 years ago. It is safe and clean. I would say the vast majority of my neighbors have a second home because half the year the weather is fantastic and the other half it’s hot and humid. I happen to love to travel and I’m in Italy for a month and a half right now.
I understand you could stay in Los Angeles and try to have an honest Election and change things, but at my age, I don’t think you can change things. It’s is time to “live your best life “.

Massie lost because he went from being perceived as a quirky but lovable nerd who seemed to genuinely believe everything he said, to looking like a clout-chasing influencer who cared more about getting TV time with Democrats on an issue he clearly never cared about until five minutes ago than he did about representing his voters.
We’ll never know what caused the apparent personality change — maybe it was the death of his wife, maybe it was the McCarthy race followed by McCarthy’s ouster, or maybe it was a desire for notoriety or media acclaim and a lucrative podcasting career outside of Congress — but the drastic change was undeniable, as was the seeming lack of interest in much of anything happening in Kentucky.
Massie’s voters didn’t really change all that much, but he did, and they noticed.

First of all, organic produce isn’t what most people think it is- go talk to your local farmer about it all.
I’ve noticed that at our grocery store, the entire ‘organic’ aisle is largely now produce on styrofoam trays wrapped in plastic wrap.
This make me laugh (and cringe) at how ridiculous this all is. They do this to keep it fresh, but then now old is what you are buying? a lot of this produce has a wilted look to it. Freshness is critical to high nutrient content, it’s degrading in quality the second you harvest it. So they encase it in petroleum based plastics for two weeks so it looks okay under the lights in the store, but why do you want to eat anything that old that has been sitting there aging under the lights encased in plastics?
Sheesh. It’s no wonder people are so sick. You are better off with no produce than that sort of produce.
So whatever good you think you are getting by buying into this high priced scam, it is lost in the age of the product and then there is its exposure to styrofoam and plastic wrap.. and then there is what Mr.Paxton is talking about here. There is scam within the entire process from the GMO seeds, the depleted soils to whatever winds up on your shelf that came from across the planet.
Then, that organic produce was likely sprayed too- with a metals based spray instead of chemical based spray.
You can’t produce reliably to a profittible scale growing like we do in our backyard and they think this is what is happening with ‘organic’, that is not what is going on.
Just because the metals come from the earth, doesn’t mean they are good for us.
Not all that is ‘natural” is then good for us.
The further we’ve moved away from producing our own food, the worse the state of health of the nation has become.
The majority of people today have no idea at all how or where food even comes from -or what food even is for that matter.
Years back while living in a now notorious northern VA county used to go in a certain grocery chain and buy “organic” meat on the discount. The price was the problem as such it was quickly marked down.

Also, a lot of organic produce comes from foreign countries and we accept their nation’s certification, without doing verification of our own

This thought just occurred to me: despite what this all appears to look like- which is the excuse they use, what they are doing here is probably part of the depopulation plan because who in the heck would want to bring children into a country that is run like this.
I’m guessing this is really part of handing their country over to the invaders- they’ll breed like rabbits and go untouched while their own are seeing their babies booked for crimes.

If the Senate is able to pass a bill that prohibits naturalized citizens from being appointed then the Senate is likewise able to vote NO on their nomination, irrespective of any law. It’s a Senators duty in the first place to deny a judgeship to a person if that person is too steeped in a culture that is antithetical to our interests.

The Trump Administration has been doing its part, but the lower courts remain rabid in their attack on the rule of law.
Federal judge James Boasberg advised Chief Justice John Roberts and some two dozen other judges that his D.C. colleagues were “concern[ed] that the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts leading to a constitutional crisis,” according to a memorandum obtained exclusively by The Federalist. That Judge Boasberg and his fellow D.C. District Court judges would discuss how a named Defendant in numerous pending lawsuits might respond to an adverse ruling is shocking. Equally outrageous is those judges’ clear disregard for the presumption of regularity — a presumption that requires a court to presume public officials properly discharged their official duties.
Judge Boasberg’s comments reveal he and his colleagues hold an anti-Trump bias, for the Trump Administration had complied with every court order to date (and since for that matter). The D.C. District Court judges’ “concern” also went counter to the normal presumption courts hold — one that presumes public officials properly discharged their official duties. Apparently, that presumption does not apply to the current president, at least if you are litigating in D.C
Judge Boasberg should be nowhere near the federal bench, let alone assigned a case involving the Trump Administration.

With this in hand, every case before said “judges” should now have attornies demanding a change of venue, stat.
What is it about training of lawyers that educates the ethics and common sense out, makes them immune to the pain and suffering that is caused to innocent people who become victims of law used against them?
Similar tendencies occur in other ways to physicians in the medical field, and I understand that better.
Lawyers should be the ones who have “wisdom” and the ability to act as “counsel” to further the principles and intent of the Constitution to the people of our sacred nation. They should be the ones who understand the link between God our Creator, the Declaration, The Constitution, the Oaths (to God), U.S. law, and “Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness” of the common citizens of our country.
Lawyers should be especially good at ensuring that the Law improves life for citizens at the level of Main Street USA.

Politicians and activists who make the legal profession everything but enforcing the law, remember the George Zimmerman, George Floyd, O J Simpson and Rodney King cases.
Too many women in judicial positions who use emotion instead of law to make decisions, aka the feminization of law.
There are 209 law schools in the U.S. churning out attorneys like diarrhea, with many of the graduates unqualified to even be an attorney. DEI and other Marxist nonsense has infiltrated law schools to where students can take classes in these topics which warps their perspective on the law.
Then you have jurors who are naive about the law and in cases, especially criminal cases, expect things to be like TV, i.e. DNA automatically links someone to crime or no matter how heinous the crime will not give the death penalty to a guilty party.
Virtually all state and local prosecutors are elected officials.
That necessarily injects politics into the process. And conviction rates, and the blurring of some ethical guard rails, have historically been an unfortunate result of that politicized selection (and retention) process.
The refusal to prosecute offenders has been a more recent prosecutorial phenomena, but for the same underlying political process.
Having been called to jury duty many times, but never selected, what I’ve seen appears to be jury tampering during the selection process. Jurors seem to be selected based on partisanship and gullibility. Just my observation.

I’m not so sure of that.
My understanding is the “Bar” is an actual physical barrier, or gate, that only a “barrister” (the old English term) or a permitted lawyer can pass, to approach and practice law before the court as another’s attorney.
And in most courtrooms of consequence today (perhaps not in the smallest claim courts) you will still see that arrangement: there is a barrier, gate, or physical bar that must be crossed before you are truly physically “before the Court”. And that area on the other side of the bar is guarded by the court’s staff when the court is in session.
The distinction between lawyers and attorneys clarifies the meaning of the term “Bar”. A “lawyer” is one who has merely received the requisite education in the law. That does not by itself confer a right to represent another or act as an attorney. A lawyer is not necessarily a member of the “Bar”.
An “attorney” is a lawyer who represents another person, and has been given the legal authority to do so. To do the latter also necessarily requires the permission of the court or a similar license.
Consequently, the lawyers licensed or approved to practice before that court are deemed members of that “Bar”, and may also use the descriptor “attorney at law”. An unlicensed lawyer may not use that latter term.
A pro se party can of course represent himself before the court as is his right, but is not a member of the “Bar”, in the sense that they are not permitted to act as attorneys.
And the judges originally literally sat on a bench to hear the case before them. Hence the term, the “Bench” for the members of that court.

But the ABA is a thoroughly biased institution at this point.

Do I think he will be able to get a permanent resolution, no I do not. There will always be mullahs and the citizens of Iran saw what happens when you rise up and rebel against the mullahs; from what I can ascertain about 40,000 of them found out and they are no longer alive. So we will see what happens.
I’m not a farmer but do pay at the pump. I do not see a permanent resolution either and am nearly resigned to the idea gas prices will remain high in perpetuity. Or they can pinch their noses and vote for the same gutless Republicans who refuse to use the power they currently have.
Neither option is particularly tasteful. But the good news is … it doesn’t have to be this way.
Primaries are underway in states across the country for federal, state, and local races. These contests give conservatives an opportunity to nominate candidates who will actually represent their interests and implement a vision worth voting for.
The Republican Party’s elected officials are often a reflection of the people who vote for them. If conservatives want better political representation, then it’s going to be incumbent upon them (and figures like President Trump) to make it happen.
Such a task won’t be easy. But allowing the status quo to remain is simply unsustainable.
