Marco has become a compelling figure. I hated him in 2016 and now I’m wondering openly who my ‘28 choice will be.

I never hated him, just didn’t trust him. Now its different. Maybe he just needed to have someone guide him to his true calling. If the election were today I would vote Rubio. Vance is too scripted like all politicians and honestly he doesn’t have much experience on the world stage. Rubio can answer any question, even stupid ones, with clarity and calm, much like Trump. Time will tell.

Quick search…it surrounded Marco Rubio’s criticism of China’s treatment of the Uyghur population and other human rights violations while he was a senator. Apparently they tweaked how his name is spelled in Chinese to allow entry into the country.

In the dark days of Obama when it seemed that all was lost. The great experiment of individual freedom was being corrupted and dimming into a socialist dream and hope (how ironic the hope and change) was almost gone……..
Some of us, (more than we will ever know perhaps), prayed for a new leader. America has always been blessed when times were overwhelmingly bleak, with a new leader to step up and pull the country together and put it back on course.

Honestly I have tears in my eyes over how Chairman Xi did so much to welcome President Trump and the entire US Delegation. Wounds healed, and a path forward to a greater world to come.
The only downer is that I am giving myself a belly ache thinking about the Kenyan. Captain Obvious the Chairman Xi didn’t like him so much either.

I was against President Trump going to China, thought it much too dangerous, too many opportunities for an assassination attempt. It was clear that Yahweh
s hand of protection was firmly on President Trump and all who were with him. I will admit that I am very short-sighted about my idea of what that meeting should have been about. China declared war against the United States years ago. Not a kinetic war but a silent, covert war, a war of death to America by a thousand small cuts. My biggest beef is the biological attack with COVID-19, a deliberate attack which has killed 1.2 million Americans and which China has never been held accountable for. Then there is the chemical attack with fentanyl, which has killed millions, then the theft of our secrets, military, NASA, research and development, proprietary software, continuous hacking, funding violence and riots, and on and on. I would have liked those topics addressed before pulling another "Nixon" and bringing China more prosperity. I am against "Making China Great Again". They hate our guts and are right now plotting ways to destroy us and I see no reason to help them speed the process along. There is a term for giving aid and comfort to our enemy, it is called treason. I know that I do not have all the facts or see the big picture as President Trump and his Administration does. I only know what I have seen and am now seeing and it looks a lot like helping the people that have wanted us destroyed for years. Chinas economy is very weak; their military is very weak because of the oil shortage. Planes, ships, cars, trucks, all run on petroleum products, in other words, oil. This would have been an opportune time to address these grievances with Xi Jinping, but money always seems to win out over human suffering and justice, in my short-sighted humble opinion.Here’s how I see the big picture. China will never be the USA. Russia will never be the USA. And neither will anybody else. Unlike other cultures in existence for literally thousands of years, the USA is unique on the world stage: a relatively new, 250 year old Constitutional Republic.

The US Constitution codifies freedom of religion, freedom of expression, a representative government and the right of individual citizens to defend ourselves against tyranny.
President Trump isn’t trying to turn anyone else into who we are. That would be a fool’s errand, especially now, when it is so very apparent how we have been (almost fatally) compromised by hostile, foreign actors who set about weaponizing our Constitutional Republic against our own interests, as well as against the interests of other nations.
