The diplomatic standoff between the US and Iran should, at the very least, lead Trump to conclude that, so long as the IRGC and its hardline supporters have a say in the negotiations, the prospect of reaching an acceptable deal remains remote. If the American president is really serious about securing a deal, then he needs to deny the hardliners any say in Iran’s destiny and, as he originally promised, to help the Iranian people achieve a true regime change. It is the only way to achieve a peace that will last.”
How and pray President Trump can cut this Gordian Knot and free the people of Iran from the mullahs and the regime loyalists and members of the IRGC who still control everything!!
Trump never said regime change was his goal. He said the conditions on the ground after the attacks on Iran’s government and military would be an opportunity for the opposition people in Iran to take their own country back.
I also suspect, however, that there is more going on behind the scenes to assist the people…..but it is up to Iranians to change their own government. Trump has been clear about that.

Try to answer this question. If a moderate democratic government were to take charge of Iran, how would they deal with one third of the population that is radical Muslim and tries everyday to kill them?
Do you think a new government that allows women to wear what they want will suddenly change the minds of radicals and be immune to suicide bombers?
Sorry, but history shows that imprisonment, death, and civil war is the only solution, and unfortunately Iran is headed for that. A great example is HAMAS, which has been almost totally wiped out yet they continue to threaten, keep their weapons, and refuse to accommodate the modern world.
Israel has the same problem with so called “Palestinians” who raise their children from birth to kill Jews and to want martyrdom, dying killing Jews, which is glorious! Fight back is the only solution to dealing with religious fanatics determined to die for the cult of islam! JMO

It’s hard to find reliable numbers, but quite a bit more than a third of the population is hardcore muslim. The Shah fell the minute we stopped backing him, and we had to institute regime change to put him in in the first place. I believe that Trump already sees all this and has a plan. In 2016 I did not give Trump much credit and openly scoffed at the 4 and 5 dimensional chess narrative as bordering on delusional.
I was utterly wrong.
He not only showed that he would fight for America, but that through his moves in his first administration displayed a talent for strategic thinking; the proof being in what he was able to accomplish in that term despite all the obstacles placed in his way by the deep state.
Currently, after 15 months into term 2, not only his choice of targets but the timing and order of march against them has displayed a strategic brilliance on the order of Clausewitz, Alexander, or Napoleon. I am easily entertained but hard to impress, and with Trump, I am not just impressed, but blown away, and I think that betting against him is a fool’s errand.
We are blessed to have him.
Without him, we would be buried in sludge by now.
I would add that besides his genius at strategy, he has shown great courage to attack the heart of the problem. He’s not just glossing over the more easily seen issues. He’s fighting the globalist criminals who up until now have controlled the world. One man against a world-wide cartel. And he’s winning.

They are dragging this out. They follow the politics here. They are betting the President loses the House at a minimum. Maybe regime change by the Iranian people was the plan but that doesn’t seem to be working, at least overtly. The IRGC and the mullahs have to be crushed. I don’t see that happening unless there is a ground force. To defeat an enemy, you have to secure the objective. Naval and Air power cannot do that, only ground forces (Army/Marines/IDF). That puts the President in a box though. Damned if does, damned if he doesn’t. May God watch over him and guide him.
I pray that President Trump will not be led down the path of regime change. When he first announced this war, the goal was to stop their nuclear programs in just a couple of months. So we have let this go on a little past schedule because we trust President Trump, but it cannot go on much longer. Of course, they will try to build them again and they will need to be stopped again.
I have sympathy for the innocent people who are stuck in that country. However, if this war goes on much longer and morphs into Iraq or something worse, we in this country will be suffering under our own tyrannical lunatics. But Iran cannot be permitted to have any nuclear bombs and this fight may be won, then lost, then won again.
This is something only God can fix- in the end. Which is starting to feel closer and closer. Pray without ceasing.
PS-I support our President 100%, and I trust zero of the reports about what is happening over there.

My father used to be in the armed forces as an officer. When I was very young he told me not to judge people by their accent and that the smartest people he worked with in the military were all from the South.
I’m personally proud of inheriting my parents’ accent and wouldn’t consider changing it.
Your dad was so right but am going to share this little tidbit…and later in life, my dad went to Korea, with the US Army, for an all expense paid vacation, in return for ‘US citizenship’….and he hid his Kiwi accent…
The flip side…my dad, as a Kiwi kid, found an old radio and got it working, I think it was a short wave radio and listened to the Armed forces transmissions….the older brother caught him behind the barn, listening and “practicing” the “American” accent so that when he “immigrated”, he would not be identified as an outsider…he was about 10…his school teachers in Christchurch emphasized how badly the “Irish” were treated in NYC..and discouraged thoughts of America…this was around the Pacific theater of WW2.

I have lived all over the country and I believe that the breakdown of where people fall on the scale of intelligence breaks down to roughly the same percentages where ever you go.
As far as favorite accents go my favorite is the southern, but down east comes a very close second.
Are you referring to Down East NC? The brogue there is thick and there are still some areas where it is common. I grew up in coastal North Carolina. If you go to Ocracoke Island, you may not be able to understand them, but I love it.

Everyone aligns J6 with the event at the Capital. However the J6 event purpose was to bring attention to the corruption in the 2020 stolen election and require the certification of Biden to be delayed to allow states to investigate.
I think there were fifteen or so speakers at the J6 Rally, including President Trump. I would bet if you analyzed the speakers transcripts you would find no one called for rioting, killing Pence or anyone else. They just wanted Congress to delay certification.
No one associates the root reason for J6 other than riots and “insurrection “ to overthrow our government. Leftist, Establishment Media, Establishment Politicians all ran with that and blamed President Trump and white Nationalist.

A stock portfolio is, in fact, an asset. The better managed it is, the better the quality of the asset.
Diversification is important and part of diversification is real estate holdings and other hard assets one directly controls.
Good diversification includes both stocks and hard assets under direct control. It would be irresponsible for an investor to limit themselves to only hard assets.
Tax advantaged stock portfolios are optional as far as the individual’s participation is concerned.
It all comes down the competency of the individual investor and it has always been that way.
Correct…I subscribe to this theory…Real Estate holdings via Land investments or Triple Net lease income properties and a diversified stock portfolio…80 % stock 20% bonds in solid growth oriented companies.
Thankfully I stayed away from IRA’s which are a scam…there is no cheating the tax man which was the pitch.
But one thing I’ve learned over the years…it was more fun getting there than being there…

Rudy Giuliani hospitalized in critical condition, his spokesman says
Rudolph Giuliani, the 81-year-old ex-mayor of New York City and a former adviser to President Donald Trump, is in critical but stable condition at a hospital, his spokesman said Sunday.
“Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he’s fighting with that same level of strength as we speak,” Spokesman Ted Goodman said in a statement on social media. He said Giuliani “remains in critical but stable condition.”
Giuliani hosted his online show, “America’s Mayor Live,” Friday night from Palm Beach, Florida.
As he opened the show, he coughed and his voice sounded more raspy than usual. He remarked: “My voice is a little under the weather, so I won’t be able to speak as loudly as I usually do, but I’ll get closer to the microphone.”
Giuliani was dubbed “America’s mayor” in light of his leadership in New York after the Sept. 11 attacks in 2001.

As Dr. Anthony Fauci’s right-hand man, David Morens, was charged this week with conspiracy and destruction of federal records in the COVID-19 cover-up, another scandal over the vaccine was unfolding on Capitol Hill.
According to a new Senate report and congressional testimony on Wednesday, Biden administration health officials deliberately ignored warning signs of possible serious reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine, including heart attacks, strokes, Bell’s palsy and sudden cardiac death.
Within three months of the vaccines being rolled out, in March 2021, red flags were fluttering out of the weekly data dumps from doctors and patients reporting health problems after the shots, according to internal emails and meeting notes provided by the Department of Health and Human Services to Sen. Ron Johnson’s Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.
But when the FDA’s senior medical officer, Dr. Ana Szarfman, whose job was to monitor the vaccine data for warning signs, repeatedly raised the alarm throughout 2021, she was ignored, and emails show her colleagues tried to stop her from using a newer, more accurate statistical methodology to investigate the data.
Finally, in September 2021, the same month that President Joe Biden announced vaccine mandates for all federal workers and large companies, she was told to “cease and desist” her analysis.
The documents uncovered by Johnson’s investigation staff point to the same alarming secrecy and efforts to avoid accountability that landed Fauci’s adviser, Morens, in trouble.
The secrecy included instructions from FDA officials to discuss findings in person rather than over email and stopping or limiting the distribution of the weekly vaccine safety reports with the alleged intent of avoiding FOIA requests.
