Remember that 5.4% GDP that was talked up? When it actually came out, it was 1.4% but nobody mentioned it. Then it was revised lower to 0.7% and today, the final was 0.5% GDP.

Not at all! I love my President!!! What I’m saying is things are going to get a little rough moving forward. There’s so much undercurrent that most have no clue about. Bond yields are being bid upwards, meaning buyers, mostly international investors, want higher yields and that’s concerning. Those employment numbers that just came out? It was not what everyone was hyping it up to be. Oil prices are being bid up in the real world economy because the tankers that already had the oil was the last before the Strait was shut down. So now, countries are bidding up the prices just to get the oil they need.
Im trying desperately not to write a novel here, because there’s much more going on. Keep your wallet safe if you know what I mean.
And Remember, the stock market is not the Real market.
Prices have not come down from the Covid and Biden era. The only place I have seen prices come down is Costco. Grocery stores are still crazy high. This could hurt us this fall.
My wife and I are both retired now. The house is paid for, we have no car loans, no debt to speak of. We are comfortable but we have had to tighten up on our spending lately. There is no perspective here, it is what it is. When any government borrows and spends like a drunken sailor without any intention of paying off the debt, they eventually pay the piper. Blaming the central bank because they won’t lower interest rates has nothing to do with politicians always increasing the expenditures. Or for that matter, going to war.
It is much easier to blame the Fed, as past presidents have done in the past, then it is to balance a budget or continuing omnibus bills or continuing resolutions. Did the Federal Bank ask the politicians to borrow and spend? Did they ask them to go to War?
People think the Fed has any power, they don’t. They will not raise or lower interest rates until they know we are not going to continue the BS with Iran.

When the government injects money into the system through the Treasury department, even if supporting all those illegals, it sends a false positive. When the Federal Reserve plays around with QE, (Quantitative Easing) it is another false positive. Everyone thinks or believes, that high interest rates are bad and low interest rates are good just doesn’t understand how markets and the economy truly functions.
We as borrowers want low interest rates, that’s a given. Investors want high interest rates for the yields. If you yourself, keep spending and the economy drops out, what happens to your financial situation? What happened during Covid? What happened during the GFC? (Great financial crisis).
When seller can’t sell their homes because they want the high values based on market values but the buyers aren’t willing to purchase those home because mortgage rates are too high, we have a problem.
When Trump ask Secretary Pulte in housing to purchase $200 Billion worth of properties, that is a pin prick and will have no effect on housing.

There are 12 voting members on the Feds board but people think that J. Powell is the lone Juror holding out on a guilty verdict creating a hung jury. Even if Powell says to lower rates and the other 11 say no, Powell loses. If 5 vote to lower rates, Powell being one of them, and the other 7 say to hold rates where they are, Powell still loses.

It’s complicated business as he’s famous for saying. What I take from that is there is so much else going on that we can’t know about.

I think some slack is in order. In this series of moments most people are finding themselves are feeling the ground they walk on turning to liquid. We’ve never been here before. Different people freak out differently.

Name a time in retrospect where Trump was wrong in his decisions. We have a lot of objective distance from many of Trump’s decisions.
I won’t say everything was right, but in terms of holding the country together, he is directionally correct always.
“COVID19!!!” That is where we learn the most about Trump’s thinking. The press demanded he take control on a national level and lock everything down. He refused. He saw many states doing it themselves. He couldn’t stop them so he pushed “Warp Speed” to get to the other side of lockdowns but he never ever mandated anything.
Trump never took the totalitarian bait. He knew what we suspected. That C19 was an intelligence trap. They tried to get him to take action and he refused. And to this very day many people blame Trump for C19 and the fake vaccines. He worked to end the lockdowns and the devastation they caused.
The fake vaccines didn’t come out really until the Biden admin started, then the left went from “I’m never taking it” to demand everyone take it including children who were unaffected. We all saw it. We should all remember it.
That should have taught us that Trump will not say what he really thinks but will take directions that will reflect what he thinks.
In the first Iran direct conflict, Israel was launching attacks into Iran without Trump’s OK or knowledge. He couldn’t stop them. Israel’s claim about nuclear development needed to be dealt with. And he did. He announced he would destroy their development site. He did so. Iran announced they would retaliate and then did so knowing every missile would be shot down. That wasn’t warfare. That was some serious “Hunt for the Red October” shit there. Trump ended Israel’s justification for launching attacks on Iran as they did.
We thought it was over… it’s not. “They” won’t let it be over.
This is where we are. But most people don’t understand it. This is why people are freaking out.

This isn’t entirely about the grifters. In hearings and other venues, the DOJ and FBI are asked about the two tier justice system. “Our side” is supposed to deliver clear, understandable and direct answers to direct questions.
I watched as questions were reframed from specific crimes committed by specific people to “crime in general” and then say “we’ve arrested 10x more than prior administrations!” That was never the question. The question wasn’t “why aren’t you protecting the public?” It’s “Why are your letting certain people of the hook?”
They have all the facts on Ilhan Omar. They know her “businesses” are scams and very likely outright crimes. They know her citizenship should be revoked as the citizenship of other fraud have already been revoked. Why not her?
And it’s not a question about how she got onto the preferred tier of justice. It’s why it’s there still a two tier justice system?

I heard a conversation between Megan Kelly and Ana Kasparian on the car radio today. Megan apparently took a break from her near constant discussions about the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie to discuss Israel and Iran with Ana Kasparian. I would love to know the SAT scores and IQs of these two. Megan went to a fourth tier law school in Albany and then landed at FOX where it is rumored she had an affair with Brit Hume and broke up his marriage. Their comments about Israel and Iran were sophomoric and Embarrassing.
My point is that President Trump is correct. These two and most of the others are not bright people who clawed their way to careers and attention. They can be amusing but they shouldn’t be taken seriously.

Here’s where I don’t like this argument. The President had opportunities during three elections to disavow all these folks, and he didn’t. It is sad to see people I once respected and listen to turn on the greatest President this Country has had in the last seventy- five years. President Dwight D. Eisenhower was the last great President that I remember, Ronald Reagan was second, but Donald J. Trump has done more in his short 15 months than any other president has. Reagan and Eisenhower are close seconds. All of this is my personal opinion and will certainly differ from others and that is fine. I do not understand their reasoning for doing what they are doing. All I can think of is what the Apostle Paul wrote in the Book of Romans 1:18-32. It sums up everything that is wrong with the United States and the rest of the world.

I love our president and it has been very disappointing watching many of these pod-casters and political pundits of late. However I do take exception with President Trump’s characterization of the first lady of France! Donald needs to have his vision checked!
I may well take heat for this, that’s okay, I’m willing to listen to opposing views. Steve Bannon does not need to on that list. I know he gets a lot of hate for things he has said/done in the past. But I listen regularly and have for a few years. I have never heard him say a negative word about POTUS. He disagrees on some issues, yes, but it’s policy, not personal. And once Iran started he has said it’s got to be won. He has some opinions about that too, but he doesn’t just pontificate. He has a lot of guests every hour and asks good questions and lets the guest cook. There are certainly scores to settle, but we need to focus on November. I understand how treacherous the media is, but couldn’t we say we don’t agree and see how they do. When I cancelled TCN I said because he was dividing MAGA. Sheesh, my R congressman who is supposed to be hard right is supporting the dignity act! Can we just do what we can do and not maxx on these people?

In other words, it would bring clicks.
Clicks are the central currency of modern media. Attention determines who rises, who fades, and who remains relevant. It fuels algorithms, revenue, influence, and reputation.
I spent nearly 30 years in broadcast news – some in the same role as Kelly at Fox News – and the bottom line is it’s a business. So is podcasting nowadays.
But after thinking carefully about her invitation, having appeared once before on Kelly’s true crime show, I declined this time around.
When I was weighing my decision, I was reminded of Herman Melville’s most quietly defiant character, Bartleby, the Scrivener, and his famously simple yet powerful line: “I prefer not to.”
It’s a profound response that I first read with my father as a teenager. It’s also a response that far too many people overlook.
