My understanding is that Alex Jones did not take any position with regard to Sandy Hook. He had people who espoused the contrarian view on his show. That’s it. He was sued instead of them because of his deep pockets. He had no trial, no examination of fact. The judge issued a default judgment and assessed rather astounding damagages (one of the recipients was not even a parent). The case is still on appeal, although Jones was effectively bankrupted. There’s more involved, but I hope you get the idea. And, no, I hold no brief for Jones. In fact, I never watched or listened to him.
He does deserve a billion dollar fine for sandy hook. A travesty of justice.

The latter happened many times, was effective, and that’s how Bannon ultimately ended up in jail.

What is the correct course of action for a Trump supporter if they truly believe the war with Iran is not in our best interest? Many loyal Trump supporters are horrified by the death and destruction brought by war. The cavalier nature of the threats to “end civilization” are upsetting to a lot of good people.
War does bring death and destruction. In every case it seems appropriate to call it the wrath of God. Some are arguing about what a “just war” is. There are military chaplains who have said this war against Iran is not. How do they serve their constituency? As for Trump’s threats, remember Little Rocket man? Behind the scenes he was told how much wrath could be poured out on his country if he got out of line. That would have been a 30 minute war, not 30 days. He stayed in line.
If you truly believe this war is not in our best interest, openly discuss your concerns, and listen to the other side of the argument, and then commit the cause to God. Abraham Lincoln learned a lot about war from his experience, and explained it quite well in his second inaugural address.

He was like Rush. He didn’t support him, but he didn’t support others against him. He was critical, but that’s his job. He came to understand Trump, and now he’s a supporter. This happened with a lot of intellectuals who didn’t realize how much the game had changed when Trump won in 2016. He caught on to the new reality, and found a new appreciation for what Trump is doing.
