They say pictures are worth a thousand words. Well, beyond that level, what does a picture of a headline say?
Think about how many actual people had to be involved in printing this?
.
NATO stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

They’re smart.
Just ask them.
Fabulous observation. Thank you!
Cannot. Make. It. UP!!!
Hawvard and Yaile journalism professors, call your office.
Part of the learning center.
Learing.
Is the Onion or the Babylon Bee the actual source for the NYT headline & the “no plastic bags used” photo;-}
Apparently Germans don’t ‘feel’ much about the
Atlantic Ocean.
Pretty pitiful.
In reality the NYT inadvertently confirmed America is the ONLY Country abiding by the North Atlantic Treaty !!!
Well Trump did rename the Gulf of America.
Honestly, I doubt—I seriously doubt—anyone there even knows what NATO stands for. All you have to do is watch any man on the street interview to see how stupid people are. It saddens me to think of all the hours I spent in school memorizing names, dates, places, countries, theories, chemical formulas, math formulas, etc and most people in their 40s and younger can’t name the 7 continents, or tell you when America declared independence or when the first moon walk was or how far away the sun is from the earth. But they can tell you about Taylor swift’s latest crush. It’s disgraceful and sad. Why should we expect the media-lites to be any different?
In other words, how many people missed an error that I would have spotted as a 10 yr old
But then again, I was pretty well read for a 10 yr old
