This is a false and defamatory statement against my nation.
Everyone in Israel is pissed off about it. It has nothing to do with the government.

Over the past several days, Iran has repeatedly targeted the holy sites of all three monotheistic religions in Jerusalem with ballistic missiles. In one strike, missile fragments crashed meters from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
To protect worshippers, Israel asked members of all faiths to temporarily abstain from worshipping at the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish holy sites in Jerusalem’s Old City.

The question to be asked is: why did Sundance post this?
My only explanation is that he didn’t realize yet what happened to Tucker. But he should. Period.
~The Houthis joined the war — a few missiles and a couple of drones in the direction of Israel. All intercepted.
Note: Iran must be running low on launchers and asked the Houthis.
~We have had a rain of missiles from Hezbollah. A few days ago, some 200 missiles in a single day. They mainly use short-range missiles that reach northern Israel, and we just had a young lady who was about to get married killed. A lot of damage too. A high percentage doesn’t even reach Israel and lands in southern Lebanon, or is aimed there as the IDF is operating in the area.
We lost a soldier yesterday and another a couple of days before. There is slow progress and ongoing combat. Hezbollah has lost some 700 fighters since they joined the war, mainly from airstrikes. Overall, Lebanon has had over 1,000 killed — I would bet all in Shia areas. I assume the goal is to get to the Litani River, but they are moving very slowly. After I write this I did watch a video of more forces entering and a report that they do move better now and killing hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists. I am not surprised. The IDF is not what it was a couple of years ago.
The whole concept of how to fight in urban areas has changed. The whole idea of face to face shooting became old, the ground forces get almost immediate air support, mainly large drones, this comes from low level commanders on the ground. Coordination is the key.
~Iran is targeting vital infrastructure in Israel. They fired at a main electrical station and another one, and actually caused some damage. They constantly target the nuclear site in Dimona. They targeted the oil refineries in Haifa and caused some damage. They constantly aim at our international airport and at other highly confidential strategic locations that are not for publication.
My point is that we are in a bad equation where they can get away with things they shouldn’t. The day they aimed at a power plant, ten Iranian power plants should have been attacked, etc. This is something that Bibi should clear up with Trump. Just because they fail to cause enough damage is no reason to let them get away with it. Intention counts. The idea that they can target the civilian population and we accept it is also wrong. Attacking civilians should carry a heavy penalty that hurts them and they think twice before they try again.
This reminds me of pre-10/7 — a formula of containment, proportionality of response, waiting for people to die before taking action. End of rant.
~With the above said, someone in the IDF does think like me and Israel just attacked a main steel factory in Iran — an economic target for a change. The explanation is that they provide steel for manufacturing ballistic missiles. To this I say: they also use water in their missile manufacturing plants, so let’s go after water. You get that I’m in a sarcastic mood.
There is now a report that the IDF did attack a power plant and Teheran is in the dark. But this is highly questionable, this would need coordination with the US, for sure Teheran was in the dark for some time.
~There is a decrease in missile attacks from Iran — from about 10 a day, one or two at a time, to around five per day — and this leads to my next point.
~What is all this talk about an American ground operation? Is taking Kharg Island a good idea? What is the delay? What about negotiations? Here is my explanation:
A. No deal with jihadists. Just listen to them — they are as radical and militant as can be. When I say “listen to them,” I include the Chairman of the Parliament, one of the most powerful people in Iran right now, and allegedly the one the Trump administration is speaking with. He is all about “teaching the US and Israel a lesson.”
B. Kharg Island is a storage and shipping area for over 90% of Iran’s oil exports. The Iranians are preparing for US forces. There are mixed views among Israeli military experts on whether it is wise to land there.
Today I saw that the Commander of CENTCOM met with the IDF Chief of Staff, so maybe something is developing. I already mentioned Israeli-American special ops. Note: The US may possess a secret weapon used in Venezuela that could be a game changer.
Taking Kharg Island sounds like something “in the alley of Trump” — I can imagine him waving and saying, “The oil is ours.” But the oil gets there through pipelines from the fields. They can simply shut off the flow.
As of now, Iran is using the Strait of Hormuz while others don’t. The US could block Iranian exports at sea or damage the loading docks on the island. This would have the same economic effect.
I think the fact that China is buying Iranian oil is part of the problem. Chinese purchasing is about 14% of their needs, but that represents 80–90% of Iran’s oil exports. Trump may need to address China first. That takes time.
I can’t tell if taking the island is a good idea. It depends on how many will die. If it can be done cleanly, then yes — but I can’t say it’s a great idea.
On the other hand, if forces are used to neutralize enriched uranium, that makes more sense. There could be a joint operation if there are multiple locations, each assigned separately. After all, the nuclear issue was the original motivation.
C. What about the delay? My analysis shows that going after Iran’s economy is what could bring them down. But such actions could lead them to attack the oil, water, and power infrastructure of their neighbors, causing a wider global oil crisis.
Every day that passes reduces their capabilities. So it does make sense to go slow and weaken their ability to retaliate.
~Trump mentioned something like 3,000+ targets in Iran. That’s a few more days of work. This leads to the question — what’s next? We will see.
~The IDF intensified operations against Iran, hitting strategic targets like the heavy water plant tied to the nuclear program. It was hit before last year and now again. There may be concern that Trump could “push the brakes”, so there is urgency. Today we saw a wave of about 90 jets and more later on.
~Note: There is no real internet access in Iran. All they get is propaganda and fabricated military victories. I think their leaders believe it too — that’s part of the problem. They think they are winning.
This is why I say: go after the regime’s financial sources — IRGC banks, exports, money printing presses. When salaries stop, loyalty will be tested.
~Trump posted about “the importance of hitting Iran hard”. A clue.

Thanks for your report, David. As usual, it was very well said. I think Trump is simply showing his “circumspect deal-makers face to the world”. what this means to me is that there is some ‘dramaturgy’ (a favorite word)
going on. He certainly has things he wants people to think. But after observing his deal making, it always seems what Trump wants you to think can often be the opposite of what HE is actually planning.
A significant part of Trump’s “movie” is the sizable marine landing force that is just now setting up shop. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if an action involving Mossad is being planned. Sorry if I confused anyone. Tucker is now the worst attacker of Israel, relentless, lies, lies, lies almost daily and he is also dealing traditional antisemitic tropes. Tucker had a few segments portraying Israel as bad for Christians. He is working very hard to try and antagonize Christians who support Israel against Israel.
For examples :
~He had a Christian nun from Betlehem who is pro Hamas and a who was lying about Israel. As a note Betlehem is under the Palestinian Authority and not Israel.
~Recently he challenged that Jews are not really the Jews of the Bible and therefore should not be supported and should all make DNA tests.
~Before that he took an unfortunate accident in Gaza when a Church was hit and made a whole segment about evil Israel against Christians.
~Tucker said that “There is nobody he dislikes more than Christian Zionists”. (You get it? More than Nazis, Jihadists, Communists, ISIS, etc…)
~Tucker at Charlie Kirk memorial event suggested that Israel killed him and used an old antisemitic trope that “The Jews killed Jesus”. This line is behinds many pogroms and killing of Jews across history. To be more precise :

But while I appreciate your reporting, and I have been a constant defender of Israel here, you will do yourself no favors in these forums, as a guest, to attack Sundance. As to Sundance I do not have anything personal about him. His last few posts about Israel are untrue and portray Israel as evil intent. Somehow I hear Tucker through his words. I know it’s not popular and maybe rude to come against it on this platform and I agree that I need to control my tone and make it less personal.
Just to specifics: The Israeli government had nothing to do with the Police Officer who decided to block the Priest or the event.
Earlier than that he portrayed the Israeli attack on an Iranian oil site that Trump said he did not approve, as an attempt to damage the Iranian gas competitor. Iran is under sanctions and do not compete with Israel. And this goes earlier with the same thread of “Israel is evil motivated”.
My red line is antisemitism. He did not cross this line so I am still here. But he does feed some antisemites with his anti Israel tone, I see it in the comments.
I do not get paid for my work. Israel is and was under some serious attacks, many in Israel are contributing, some are fighting, some are donating, some bring food to soldiers, some sing for the wounded in hospitals and some fighting the PR war. I noticed in my lifetime- the ‘if anything goes wrong, blame the Jews’ slogan has a way of creeping into ALL the bad news and ALL those listening to the news about the ME. At least in my neck of the woods.
The Bible covers ALL the bad stuff in life; from the first murder onward and Jews wrote it; ergo anytime any of those bad things happen in real life ya kinda blame it on the Jews because they did all the bad acts to begin with and then wrote about them, then spread those words…….the intelligence, understanding, and wisdom it took to write the Bible is lost in the ‘blame’ sometimes. Jews enunciated evil and they get blamed for it.
Good words and works along with ways of dealing with the bad are lessons in the Bible, too. But, blame is the first thing people look for in bad circumstances that happen. Human nature??

The problem with reporting the truth with the best information we have available is that it inevitably ruffles feathers on one side or the other. Depending on the degree, we might want to assign motives to the truth-teller. But we’re not perfect – as I posted, we work with the best information currently at hand. The Treehouse cannot be blamed if anti-Semites sometimes migrate here. Trust me, it’s worse on leftist forums where Jew-hatred is very open.
The Treehouse is not pro- or anti-Israel – it is pro-American. So you will see information that seems to cut for and against your preferred narrative, depending on the view through that pro-American lens. If you think anything posted is unfair, please rebut it! This is not a leftist site where group-think is enforced. But the characterization of “defamatory” suggests intent and brings into question motives. That’s dragging the Treehouse reporting into a place it does not belong. I see that the term “defamatory” was the wrong term.
The narrative that “Israel is evil motivated” bothers me as we are in an existential war of survival and our motives are survival motives.
Many wiser people than I have discussed and wrote about the subject of truth. What truth for one is a lie for another. Without too much philosophy I did develop a certain way of how to report:
1. I always try to stick to something that is factual and provable. For example, how many attacks on Iran, how many casualties in Israel, etc…
2. I always try to go to the corrects source. “The mouth of the house”.
I will always quote Trump if I can avoid what people think or say about his actions and intentions. This is the original reason why I landed on this platform. It has all the footage of Trump.
3. If it’s an opinion or speculation I label it as such.
4. If there is no verification I will not post, unless it is very important and then I will label it as not verified.
I am not an expert on the US. I am also not an expert on Israel. But a few years of reporting about the War and living it, does make me an expert on this conflict that is ongoing.
There is a sentiment going on in some MAGA that is anti Israel and in some cases antisemite. To be fair, I am desperately trying to fight it and there lies my emotional reaction. I have spent a lot of time on debunking it.

David, I am bothered by the prejudice many Arab Christians have against Israel. I have seen their comments and there is something wrong in the worldview of many of them. As Christians, I believe we can have a weakness that elevates our thinking of ourselves above what even the Lord would approve of. The Apostle Paul warns us about this in his letter to the Church in Rome. There are Christian brothers I love dearly that are too critical of Israel in my opinion. I choose to walk humbly among them but I cannot understand some of their opinions. I answer to Jesus Christ. He was born into the Jewish nation and Eternity will bear the marks of His Jewishness and of the Apostles of the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.

I would be carful to generalize about Arab Christinas sentiment as I see also the other side of Christians who love and support Israel and one of them is arguably the greatest defender of Israel on world’s stages. His name is Yoseph Haddad if you want to listen.

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 5
God will certainly hear prayer: David gives to God the glory, and takes to himself the comfort. (1-6) He prayed for himself, that God would guide him, and for all the Lord’s people, that God would give them joy, and keep them safe. (7-12)
1-6 God is a prayer-hearing God. Such he has always been, and he is still as ready to hear prayer as ever. The most encouraging principle of prayer, and the most powerful plea in prayer, is, to look upon him as our King and our God. David also prays to a sin-hating God. sin is folly, and sinners are the greatest of all fools; fools of their own making. Wicked people hate God; justly are they hated of him, and this will be their endless misery and ruin. Let us learn the importance of truth and sincerity, in all the affairs of life. Liars and murderers resemble the devil, and are his children, therefore it may well be expected that God should abhor them. These were the characters of David’s enemies; and such as these are still the enemies of Christ and his people.
7-12 David prayed often alone, yet was very constant in attendance on public worship. The mercy of God should ever be the foundation both of our hope and of our joy, in every thing wherein we have to do with him. Let us learn to pray, not for ourselves only, but for others; grace be with all that love Christ in sincerity. The Divine blessing comes down upon us through Jesus Christ, the righteous or just One, as of old it did upon Israel through David, whom God protected, and placed upon the throne. Thou, O Christ, art the righteous Saviour, thou art the King of Israel, thou art the Fountain of blessing to all believers; thy favour is the defence and protection of thy church.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thinking of my father today. He passed away 100 years ago. A child of the Great Depression, he enlisted in the USMC and participated in the scenic tour of the South Pacific. College and law school followed when he fortunately returned. At his 10 years high school reunion, half the males who graduated with him were dead. That great generation certainly had a much different world view than those of us who have followed them, based on their life experiences that can only be described as horrific. They valued life and liberty and were ready to defend it no matter what the cost. I am not sure he and his contemporaries would like or even recognize the fabric of this great country. I pray for him and all of us trying to right the ship.
Sorry, my father passed 30 years ago today. He would have been 100 had he been able to live this long.
