Israel Update:
Something wild is going on and it’s early to verify all the facts and there are many open questions so I almost skipped the day. But it’s too dramatic to let go.  

You don’t always notice the timing but a few hours before this whole operation began I posted the Biblical quotation of God’s strike on the Persians.  Today earlier I was going to warn you of an Iranian strike on the US.  I mean the homeland US. Not to scare anyone, I am not talking about mass casualties.  

So now to the sequence.  

~Trump said that there is a negotiation going on with Iran and therefore he pulls back the “48 hours ultimatum to back off the Strait of Hormuz or the US will go after the power plants”.  
He is saying that they agreed to the point on the nuclear and other critical points.  

This statement was done just before the opening of the week of trade.  It led to a drop of oil prices over 10% down.  

He is not saying who he is talking with.  The IRGC are denying it.  The statements from leading people in Iran’s IRGC are mocking Trump and saying that he is imagining things and they demand compensation from the US, lifting of sanctions, and other unreasonable things.  The sounds are militant and not dialogue.  

Trump’s people may have talked with someone but the IRGC are in control and hiding the someone is for his safety?  Very odd.  

I would rather look at what Trump does than what he says, specially in this war that he is spinning the enemy with flip flop communications.  

This whole thing is odd and we need time to figure it out.  There is no enough information.  

~Iran has just published that two gas sites were attacked in Isfahan and in Khorramshahr.  This led to a power outage in Khorramshahr.  This leads to the question, was all the above a manipulation and he did go after the energy?. 

~Iran attacking US bases in Bahrain and Iraq, Saudi Arabia, a base of the Kurds in Iraq, Electrical site in Kuwait, energy site in the Saudi Arabia, Israeli population under heavy fire. It’s almost now so I don’t know the results yet.  Some insane footage.  I will post some.  This is not a regime who is trying to negotiate.  
Their statements about the Strait of Hormuz are also militant.  I just saw, US embassy in Iraq was hit with a drone.  

~US earlier did a massive attack in Iraq on the Iran related militia and killed some 15 including a leader.  

~Iran is saying that they will attack the power in Israel.  Note: It’s not easy to do. We have it very secure in many ways.  

~Now here is what I referred to about something to happen in the US.  One of the larger refineries in Texas had an explosion and there are videos of fire. I will post.  One of my sources is telling me that this is the second time in two weeks that there is fire in refineries in Texas.  Now we are talking about Valero refinery in Port Arthur TX.

~The Marines are on the way and I heard of more arriving to the UK with some five flights of extra large airplanes.  Not verified.  But the main force is arriving around Friday.  The next deadline that Trump gave them if that is still applicable.  

Things are going on but I am posting it now as it’s time.  If anything critical will appear I will report.  As to TX I see it on US media now.  Breitbart. 

PS. The whole thing about the negotiations is unclear and I am leaving it open. We will know more in the next few days. I am not saying that it is fake. We shall see.

English carpenter and clockmaker who invented the marine chronometer to calculate longitude while at sea, dies at 82

Biography: John Harrison was already a successful clock maker when in 1707 the British naval disaster off the Scilly Isles and the loss of 1400 men prompted the British Government to begin a competition with huge monetary rewards to whoever could invent a reliable way to measure longitude at sea. Harrison’s quest to do just that would dominate the rest of his professional life.

Harrison produced his first attempt in 1735, now known as H1. It was subjected to a trial on a return voyage to Lisbon and largely succeeded. Harrison was awarded 500 pounds and asked to build an even better one.

Further attempts followed until Harrison’s H4 model was judged successful in 1765 and it was recommended that he be awarded £10,000. Harrison however fell out with the Board of Longitude who refused to accept his full results and insisted on further testing. It was only at the insistence of King George III that Harrison eventually received payment.

Could use some prayers for my sister this morning. She is in dire straits at the IU medical center in Indy with a bowel obstruction. Very ill. They will be deciding if they’ll do surgery this afternoon. If they do it, they have said it is very risky.

It is not looking good at all! I will be going to see her this morning. My condition is good enough that I can tolerate the drive and walking necessary. It very well could be the last time I can see her alive.

Her two kids have been fantastic doing all they can to take care of her. Their father is already gone. Just goes to show what kind of mother she has been.

COMMENTARY FOR MICAH 6:8

God’s controversy with Israel. (1-5) The duties God requires. (6-8) The wickedness of Israel. (9-16)

1-5 The people are called upon to declare why they were weary of God’s worship, and prone to idolatry. Sin causes the controversy between God and man. God reasons with us, to teach us to reason with ourselves. Let them remember God’s many favours to them and their fathers, and compare with them their unworthy, ungrateful conduct toward him.

6-8 These verses seem to contain the substance of Balak’s consultation with Balaam how to obtain the favour of Israel’s God. Deep conviction of guilt and wrath will put men upon careful inquiries after peace and pardon, and then there begins to be some ground for hope of them. In order to God’s being pleased with us, our care must be for an interest in the atonement of Christ, and that the sin by which we displease him may be taken away. What will be a satisfaction to God’s justice? In whose name must we come, as we have nothing to plead as our own? In what righteousness shall we appear before him? The proposals betray ignorance, though they show zeal. They offer that which is very rich and costly. Those who are fully convinced of sin, and of their misery and danger by reason of it, would give all the world, if they had it, for peace and pardon. Yet they do not offer aright. The sacrifices had value from their reference to Christ; it was impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sin. And all proposals of peace, except those according to the gospel, are absurd. They could not answer the demands of Divine justice, nor satisfy the wrong done to the honour of God by sin, nor would they serve at all in place of holiness of the heart and reformation of the life. Men will part with any thing rather than their sins; but they part with nothing so as to be accepted of God, unless they do part with their sins. Moral duties are commanded because they are good for man. In keeping God’s commandments there is a great reward, as well as after keeping them. God has not only made it known, but made it plain. The good which God requires of us is, not the paying a price for the pardon of sin and acceptance with God, but love to himself; and what is there unreasonable, or hard, in this? Every thought within us must be brought down, to be brought into obedience to God, if we would walk comfortably with him. We must do this as penitent sinners, in dependence on the Redeemer and his atonement. Blessed be the Lord that he is ever ready to give his grace to the humble, waiting penitent.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness

Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
 
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
 
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
 
Give me a good night’s sleep I pray, knowing that there is no condemnation because I am in Christ, and may I wake up in the morning refreshed and ready to do Your will. In Jesus’ name I pray,

Heavenly Father, as I lie down to sleep tonight, I pray that You would guard my sleeping and protect my mind from wandering thoughts and unnecessary planning. Teach me to wait for Your perfect timing and not to try to plan my future in my own strength.
 
Lord, I know that You have scheduled every day of my life. Help me to trust You in all things and rely on You to lead me along the straight path and guide me in the direction that You would have me to go.
 
Give me patience to wait for Your perfect timing, and may I not trust in my own abilities and scheming, but rather rest in Your love and trust my future into Your hands.

My heart is so thankful for all the many blessings that I enjoy day by day, and today I am once again reminded that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness endures from generation to generation.
 
Thank You, that I have been brought into Your family and have been made a child of God and a citizen of heaven. Words cannot express my love and devotion to You Lord
