The scenes on the ground at LaGuardia airport are horrific as the nose of the Air Canada regional jet is completely destroyed. AP reports “two persons” were killed in the crash.
Apparently, an aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicle was crossing the runway at the same time the Air Canada plane was arriving. The New York Times has a live update feed with the following information:
[SOURCE] An Air Canada Express regional jet collided with a Port Authority fire truck at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, killing the plane’s two pilots and shutting down all flights at the airport, officials said Monday.
Forty-one passengers and crew members were taken to the hospital, Kathryn Garcia, the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said at an early morning news conference. She said that 32 of them had been released, and that some of the others had been seriously injured.
The vehicle struck by an incoming plane at LaGuardia Airport was a Port Authority Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting vehicle that had been responding to a separate incident, the agency said in a statement. (source)
The X Account for LaGuardia Airport released the following statement:
At approximately 11:40 p.m. on Sunday, a Jazz Aviation flight operating on behalf of Air Canada was involved in an incident on Runway 4 at LaGuardia Airport in which the aircraft struck a Port Authority Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting vehicle that was responding to a separate incident.
Emergency response protocols were immediately activated. The Port Authority Police Department is on scene along with the agency’s Chairman and Executive Director. The airport is currently closed to facilitate the response and allow for a thorough investigation.
This is a developing situation based on preliminary information. The Port Authority Police Department is working closely with our airline partners as well as federal authorities and will provide additional updates as more details become available. (source)

Amen.
The Gateway reports that the emergency vehicle was operated by a service contractor identified as JAZZ that is known for its DEI hiring practices.
JAZZ is the airplane operator.
A fire truck on the runway of an incoming airplane has nothing to do with who the pilots were on the plane.
Malicious bs spreading.
Malicious? Lol.
DEI hiring kills. Low-IQ bipeds in positions of responsibility gets people killed. Both in the air and on the ground.
Recognizing the reality that New York is absolutely saturated with that ignorance is not malicious.
It’s reality.
Not so fast!
Who was operating the aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicle? That would be the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey right? Though it’s not yet publicly known who was driving the vehicle, that particular port authority boasts a very high minority and female percentage (outside of the Port Authority Police Department which would not have been operating the vehicle). The odds are good it was DEI.
Powerful prayer Sundance. Amen.
Prayers for all. NY Post article quotes ATC employee, “I messed up.”

If it’s DEI, we won’t know for a year.
DEI is a euphemistic acronym for “socialism”–from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.
Gateway Pundit has article from NY Post, claiming Orthodox Jews on board plane?
You people never stop. Ever. Ya’ll are pathetic.
The Post article literally says: “The Air Canada flight was carrying a group of Orthodox Jews from the New York area, sources told The Post.” I mean, you guys fight it out… I don’t care either way…
For some reason The Post thought it’s relevant… like “the tour bus was carrying a bunch of elderly people on a tour of Niagara Falls”.
https://nypost.com/2026/03/23/us-news/air-canada-flight-firetruck-collide-at-laguardia-reports/
And? So what, there’s no point to even bringing it up. There’s no relevance whatsoever.
Nothing to battle out; it just seems people constantly have to bring up the “Jews.” As someone who is in a blended Jewish and Christian family it’s getting old.
No idea.
Actually, it’s getting rather old that it has to be brought up as well.
So I do agree with you.
It’s spiritual and certainly does get old I don’t interact with any Jews but my Lord and Saviour came from the line of David for that I know they are Gods chosen ones. And they are .20 % of world population yet somehow they control the world. When Satan has control but most dont know the truth of the Bible. God Bless Paul and prayers for all those families on the plane.
Things are only going to get messier until Jesus return.
Democrat “social justice” never stops–they are parasitic.
Amen.
Lord, be merciful 🙏🏻

Ground control is part of the FAA ATC responsibilities. NO ONE has permission to operate on the airfield without Tower authority.
Amen. That is horrific, and also a miracle there were no more casualties.
How strange is that? A Fire Truck being on an active runway.
However, I think something else…see how damaged the plane is from hitting a Fire Truck?
How do airplanes not smash into smithereens upon hitting the twin towers, with hardly any penetration?
Look at this plane from hitting a Fire Truck.
Because the firetruck wasn’t rigged with explosives in the preceding months and wasn’t needing to be overhauled due to asbestos.
I’m not sure how to post a “thumbs up” emoji, but your post deserves more than a handful.
Insanity.
Thank you.
Check out the NY Post article Niagara Frontier posted above… it has a pretty good summary of what happened.
“The plane, which had 72 passengers and four crew members on board, was traveling about 24 mph when it collided with the truck, which was responding to an emergency involving another plane.”
Can you imagine? If that plane was just doing 100 MPH, it could have plowed clear through the truck, rupturing fuel tanks…
I mean… are we lucky here that only two people died (though several seriously injured of course)? I don’t mean to minimize the deaths and injuries… but still…
24 MPH does that? 😬 Yikes! That is alarming.
Wow.
Well, the only heavy materials would be in the engines and landing gear, right? Maybe some core structural components are steel, not sure how they’re built. Everything else is lightweight… aluminum, high-strength plastics, etc.
A duck will literally take out the entire front cone.
It’s the mass behind that 24 MPH
But how fast was the fire truck going? That’s what probably caused al the damage.
Exactly my first thought upon seeing the photo.
There is definitely infected areas of the airline industry as well as Air traffic controllers and ground crew and it costs people their lives.
But at least it wasn’t the DEI Barbie landing a plane upside down like in Canada.
And remember that Democrat operative woman Army helicopter pilot / warrior that unalived so many people over the Potomac, about which the Democrats shoved down the memory hole oh-so-quickly.
Waiting for the NY Times “story” linking Tom Homan and ICE to this.
Oh, it’s coming. That and the story that claims Donald Trump was directing traffic on the runway. Just wait for it.
Propaganda is, by necessity, a core Democrat competency.
Thank you, Senate Democrats. This one is on you.
Technological solutions for integrating ground vehicles on surface displays, both in tower and in vehicle, to prevent runway incursions exist. Getting such a display in cockpit would be a lengthy and debatable and expensive process.
Why didn’t the truck see the airplane? That will come out during the investigation. There are so many lights of various colors, intensity, flashing or rotating, plus any cultural lighting from buildings, billboards, etc, around LaGuardia…I can understand how the basic aviation principal of “see and avoid” failed.
The airplane may have seen the truck, but seems past the point where anything could be done. We won’t have answers for months.
Thank God there were not more casualties.
I think touchdown speed is in the area of 150MPH… so if the plane was going 25MPH then they were already on the ground. You can’t steer around an obstacle, at that point.
You don’t cross a runway unless you have verified (look around) it’s clear, even when cleared to proceed across. It’s the final safety check.
The plane was only going 25 MPH, supposedly, and the cockpit was destroyed. No wonder so few people survive crashes.
Any bets on a DEI blackout over this story?
Are wretoo assume the fire truck occupants survived this?
If the only two dead are pilots, then yes, all fire crew survived. But if they are hospitalized in critical condition, that could change.
Horrific accident! Pray for those injured snd for comfort for the grieving families.
The ATC is part of this equation, but the driver of that fire truck wins the Darwin Award for the month of March 2026 regardless of what the ATC directed.
This has dumbass DEI written all over it…..
Ground vehicles are ALWAYS controlled by the tower…..
Apparently dumbass wasn’t listening…..
From the ATC recordings I’ve heard, the ground vehicle requested clearance to cross and received it. Then the controller almost immediately told the driver to stop, hoping to prevent him from entering the runway, but it was too late as the vehicle was already crossing.
That’s a lose-lose situation for the driver. Even if he had time to react, the driver would then have had to decided between stopping on an active runway or trying to get off it as soon as possible.Since no one in the vehicle appears to have been killed, the plane probably struck the vehicle’s rear section, which likely means the vehicle was already beginning to exit the runway by the time it was told to not enter the runway at all.
I think this one is on the hands of ATC.
Then the dumbass was in the tower…
Reportedly, ATC recordings captured a controller clearing the emergency vehicle to cross the runway and then almost immediately telling it to stop.
If aircraft was going 24mph as reported, that would suggest it was near the end of its landing roll.
The emergency vehicle was likely stopped on a taxiway, waiting for the plane to pass by and clear its path across an active runway. Either the vehicle crew lost orientation on the tarmac system and misreported its location to the ATC, leading the ATC to believe the plane had cleared the vehicle’s intended crossing point, or the ATC lost situation awareness and cleared the emergency vehicle to cross prematurely.
Given the time of day, the apparent poor visibility due to weather conditions, and the ATC being distracted by an ongoing emergency, it is likely ATC miscommunications led to this incident. There have been a number of similar near-misses in the last decade between landing aircraft and aircraft entering or crossing runways, and this should be a wake-up call that this issue needs to be addressed.
Thank God there was no fire.
Amen
You can search and find audio of Pilots to ATC and in many cases the ATC are as DEI as they come and some ATC you would think are in another country because their English is horrible.
There are so many close calls every single day and are you good with trusting a system that has been deliberately broken ?
No flying here ever again
AMEN
I smell DEI…
We flew to La Guardia from Texas recently visiting the grands in Queens. Sweetie pledged to never fly again. Prayers for these families. Tragic, yet could have been so much worse. Isn’t there talk of overhauling flight safety? You’d think in this age of super computers, there would be safeguards from this sort of thing.
Did any 30-story buildings nearby collapse as a result?
Horrible thing to happen.
I am gonna go out on a limb and make a prediction. The driver of the fire vehicle is either an immigrant or a dei hire. The pilots are gonna be immigrants.
Thus far, it sounds like a communication problem with ATC to the fire truck. Either way DEI abounds with ATC, Jazz Aviation and Port Authority. It most likely was DEI hire(s) that caused the problem and this information will be intentionally suppressed by media and government officials causing more death and destruction. We’ve learn nothing from the Blackhawk DEI pilot crash (other than government admitting liability) at Reagan Airport because we aren’t allowed to know the truth.
Prayers for the deceased and their families & loved ones. Got me thinking, this aircraft was only moving at 25mph when it collided with the truck, yet the damage to the cockpit / fuselage is severe. Yet we are told that aircraft such is this one neatly sliced through the steel exoskeletons of the Twin Towers! Doesn’t quite add up, and please don’t call me a nut 🙂
The aircraft was going much faster than that by visual evidence alone.
Re “Yet we are told that aircraft such is this one neatly sliced through the steel exoskeletons of the Twin Towers!”
Even if the bulk of the commercial airliner did essentially disintegrate upon initial contact with the Twin Towers, the engines are solid and very heavy. Inertia would have caused them to continue traveling into the inner depths of the building. Even though fuel is not solid, it is also very heavy and inertia would have caused it to follow the engines and likely ignite from fires caused by the engines.
Please listen to the radio calls ( YT VAS Aviation) between ATC, CFR ( Crash Fire and Rescue) responding to another carrier’s emergency and the pilots of Jazz. This is heartbreaking. Praying for the Controller as well as firefighters and crew/pax onboard.
AMEN !
