Jailed Trump ally Tina Peters found not guilty of assault in caught-on-camera prison fight
Imprisoned former Colorado county clerk Tina Peters was found not guilty of assault on a fellow inmate after a confrontation at the La Vista Correctional Facility in January, the Colorado Department of Corrections told FOX31.
Surveillance footage captured at the facility showed Peters navigating a large black cart through a doorway of the facility when another inmate grabs the other end and the two start scuffling.
The confrontation ends when Peters appears to wrap her hands around the fellow inmate’s neck. Prison officials said neither woman was injured.
Although she was found not guilty at the hearing — which was overseen by the Department of Corrections — prison officials found her guilty of a Class II Rule violation for “unauthorized absence,” according to the CDOC.

Imagine if there was a situation where all three branches of government were controlled by the Democrats and Republicans shut it down because they wanted Democrats to completely outlaw all abortions —a very extreme position and one not backed by the law but favored by many on the right.
