The only ones opposed are the ones who have benefitted from election fraud. The flimsy “it’s too hard to get an ID” is so preposterous I can hardly believe any one would use that as a valid reason. You need ID for every freaking thing in this country.
Ahh, but the dorks against this will tell you now that it isn’t the ID that’s the problem, it’s the PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP that is. In their feeble minded excuses, it’s too expensive to get a passport and too hard to find and use their birth certificates for all those poor people out there. They would all be disenfranchised if they had to provide a BC. The SAVE act fixes those things though. There are ways to do this within the bill that are pretty easy to do for anyone, however that matters not to the opposition.
The ridiculousness of the excuses by the opposition for the Save Act are so lame that it’s shameful to try and defend it. Yet, those whose election selection depends on illegals being able to vote, mail in ballots, extended early voting, hackable machine counting and votes being allowed for week or more after Election Day to come in and be counted, are not ashamed at all of the scam election system they want to keep in place in order to ‘win’ their elections.
This is an American disaster of epoch proportions. They will string this along so the midterms aren’t affected by new election regulations and then if they gain the majorities in the H and S, will simply never enforce or pass legislation on election reforms again unless it helps them remain in power. We have a very, very serious problem that can only be solved by the people coming out in record numbers to vote for the continuing administration of PDJT.
How do you get a birth certificate if you are one of those people that are over 126 yrs old and was born at home?
My husband was born at home in a holler of Kentucky, he never had a BC until it was time for him to sign up for SS. It’s called a “delayed” birth certificate, and to earn one, at least in those days, required a number of different other proofs of date of birth.
The fact that he had served in the military in the 1950s was helpful.
I realize you’re being facetious; my husband is just a little behind the 126 year old. It was still quite a laborious process, and required the certified affidavit of someone who was 10 or more years old and who was present or knew of the birth contemporaneously; he had only one aunt surviving who could help.

I would imagine the illegal aliens who were given SS numbers, their elderly relatives and disabled children, had no problem accessing benefits.
My grandfather was born in 1895 and never had a birth certificate. The church where he was baptized burned destroying that record. When he went to retire in 1960 they were able to locate one of the midwives that helped deliver him and she testified to his birth date . The woman had to have been well into her late eighties or her nineties. But if they could do something like that in 1960 from 1895, there must be better capabilities and other records to find today. Newspapers, baptizimal and school records should all still exist. Record keeping was much better in 1926 than before 1900.

Your Grandfather would have been recorded on the Federal census in 1900 and later ones, which you probably know already.
Some States had a census in the middle of a decade between the Federal enumerations.
In some States the mid-decade census was a treasure trove of information that was not on the Federal census.
I do not remember which Federal census (1900 or 1910) listed the year and month of a person’s birth. You might have already found that out.
They also had no problem drafting him in WW1, but still SS was a problem. Government silos and red tape.
How about only citizens can get drivers licenses? Since real id, bc’s must be shown when getting/renewing license. The state even takes a copy of it. Or how about social security numbers only for citizens so card works. Non citizens working can use a special number to pay into FICA and medicare from paychecks. They are not paying into them for qualification to collect but for privilege to work here.

The protections for big pharm vaccines, started in the 80’s…two of my 4 have issues, but they are now adults.
A big problem is that the mental health industry only seems to go thru the motions of treatment….giving many in need of inpatient treatment…giving them 3 days and out the door if they can get away with it. Recidivism is a big reason, like rinse wash and repeat.
Back then, the popular wording was “fragmented health care”….which could mean “incomplete”.
But if the costly treatment were given, there would be far better outcomes. And a more stable populace.

Today, a friends daughter has a gluten allergy, (apparently gluten is present in other products other than food)……and cannot use some shampoo and hair products…she was hospitalized for something, and the staff refused to accommodate her reported need…she ended up with massive hives and blisters on her scalp…

My grandmother and great grandmother both died of dementia, but it wasn’t called that back then. Their deaths were listed as a combination of ‘hardening of the arteries’ and ‘old age’. So dementia existed but was called another name. I do agree it was way less prevelant back then, but certainly not unknown. I do agree something has changed that we see so many people suffering from dementia besides just an increase in population.
It was also said back then that older people were getting senile — senility was the catch-all phrase for any kind of mental challenges or forgetfulness in the elderly. And it was just considered a normal quirk of old age.

Sounds like Alpha-Gal allergy is well known for delayed onset of symptoms, and by eating or drinking other things with alpha-gal in them, or taking additional drugs with alpha-gal in them, or getting additional bites from alpha-gal bugs can increase your chances of developing other symptoms, including going into Anaphylactic shock.
The wiki article also mentions people with unknown alpha-gal allergy often having heart attacks and lower GI troubles that are never correctly treated due to doctors not looking at alpha-gal allergy as the problem.
