“Federal Judges” can obviously “rule” any way they want. All of them trying to be President. All of them also trying to be Congress. Neither of which they are.

Systematically, they are reaching the point where Trump will finally have to say what his predecessors Jackson and Lincoln did. Congress granted the Executive the power to impose tariffs by a number of different means. If the SCOTUS points out (correctly) that one of these means is too vague, it also pointed out that the President still has plenty of others. Which he very promptly used. The tariffs remain in legal force. Even if a TDS-infested “Judge” does not like it.

The entire “We’re suing to get tariff money back” needs to be squashed.

Not only should it be immediately appealed, but during the appeals process they need to force a method by which such decisions are made.

They can start with the discovery phase of the law suit – require the businesses suing to open up their financial books and then give them to a team of financial forensic experts, including some of the DOGE autists to go through with a very fine comb, with said team to include IRS auditors.

Require proof that not only the company themselves paid said tariffs, but that they weren’t themselves paid by the importer, the foreign exporter, or anyone else. The books have to be open for 3 years prior so a determination can be made that further the company suing for the tariffs did not raise the prices of their goods, passing the cost of the tariffs to the consumer. Lastly, the tariffs they did pay can NOT be part of a trade agreement, with said trade agreement overriding any removal of the tariff (the court can’t override a trade agreement, including fees and tariffs that are part of said agreement).

Only IF their financial records pass ALL of the wickets, can they even begin to contemplate getting the reimbursement.

Oh, and while they are going through both the company AND the executives financial records to ensure they weren’t otherwise reimbursed, they should also apply a magnifying glass to all of their tax filings to ensure there aren’t any shady creative book keeping – a lot of companies wouldn’t want to risk the exposure.

Any of the companies that pass through all the hurdles should then be sued by states and the people for trying to circumvent the economic plan to strengthen our nation and economy.

I would not object to President Trump ordering DHS and ICE to shift immediate emphasis to the thousands of suspected or known terrorists who were given the green light to enter the country by the Biden clan. They pose an immediate danger to our homeland.
