President Trump was previously scheduled to participate in a Medal of Honor ceremony, prior to the start of joint Operation Epic Fury in Iran. As the Medal of Honor event began this morning, President Trump delivered remarks about Iran. WATCH (prompted):
As noted by President Trump the current operation continues degrading the Iranian war machine. The U.S. and Israeli military are systematically taking down strategic targets inside Iran. Simultaneously, the Iranian naval fleet is being targeted and continues to be destroyed.
As target packages are worked using a previous priority list, the U.S. operation continues from air and sea. Waves of missiles, drones, U.S. fighters and bomber aircraft as well as naval assets are continuing to bombard the Iranian military destroying their capacity to wage war.

Sundance. Is this more about the complete annihilation of Irans military capability to launch any missile?
I know everyone keeps saying regime change but it seems more likely that Israel and the US want complete destruction of any missile delivery and missile silo destroyed?
The destruction of Irans command structure was a plus. Obviously that’s hurting their response.
Thanks as usual.
If Trump believes the bombing will take 4 weeks (whether Iran negotiates or not), that suggests we have a predetermined list of targets to destroy.
That is what I heard Trump had said. After the last attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities they decided to build so many missiles and drones no one would be able to attack their nuclear facilities again.
Iran for 47 years has been developing intercontinental ballistic missiles and nuclear warheads to arm them for one purpose, to strike America the great Satan.
From that perspective it seems a correct action. We all know the negotiations with Iran were for them to buy time and they had no intention of giving up their nuclear bomb making activities. It would seem America first too if all this is true. The world is a small place today.
I usually take things in stride. There is always to much we don’t know at first. I wasn’t thrilled about Bush’s first war with Iraq or the second Bush’s war on terror but I support the US troops whetherever they are fighting.
I don’t think they planned just to attack “the Great Satan.” I think they planned to use nuclear warheads to do what they began to do yesterday – to bomb every Sunni nation around them.
Never mind that the fallout from the explosions would rain down on them: They’d call it “jihad,” and sit back (as their skin melted off their bodies), waiting for the celestial virgins. Or maybe for their “12th leader” to pop up out of that well, to rule over whatever’s left. Surely Allah would be mightily pleased with them for destroying his planet.
You might ask: “How could any rational person think that way?” Easy answer: they’re not rational. Haven’t been rational since the 7th Century.
Exactly. The Sunnis, not being total idiots, realize that Iranian commanders are following predetermined targets. Meaning Iran was always planning to attack the Sunni nations around them.
I agree, but still their special hatred and wish for total destruction is ‘The Great Satan’, the United States of America.
Iran can never be trusted remember they used chemical weapons in the Iraq/Iran war.
Regime change will have to come from within. Iranians will have to be the ones to rise up, fight, and die for their country. Trump has learned the lessons of the Bush nation building disasters. I can’t speak for Trump or Israel, but the targets are Iranian military and missile facilities. That indicates to me that our goal isn’t regime change, although it would be a welcome side effect of this engagement. And I truly hope Iranians will seize this opportunity. The ayatollahs are a cancer. The Iranians have to be the ones to eradicate it. If they fail, it will come back. We can’t do it from the air alone and I hope there are no plans for US forces on the ground. But I hope there is a plan in place to help the Iranians take their country back.
From what I’ve just read the Israeli Air Force has declared air superiority over Iran, and I think the US just confirmed.
I hope they completely cripple that countries military.
It won’t be safe until their missile and drone capabilities are totally illuminated.
Iran used to be a shining star of the Middle East, until it was hijacked 47 years ago. The hijackers obsessively built up as many missiles and weapons as they could, while pursuing nuclear warheads to “finally finish Allah’s job.” Toasting every “Sunni” muslim sounds like a holy command given to “Shia” muslims.
One has to wonder about Reza Pahlavi. He was only about 18 when Iran fell and already training in the US to be a pilot. He has lived little of his life inside Iran. He professes to support democracy, but does he really wish to reetablish the Shah? Most of Iranians today don’t remember his fathers brutal reign. Yet he may be there best hope to establish a new government from within.
The biggest thing I remember before Iran fell was the USO was always full of young Iranian men trying to pick up American women. Most (all?) were in some kind of US military training.
His father’s “brutal reign” was followed by 47 years of a far more brutal reign, so there is that, after all.
Pahlavi seems to see himself as a transitional figure to unify the country on its way to representative government. We’ll see.
President Trump has said multiple times to the Iranian people that this is their chance to take their country back. That does not indicate that President Trump, or Netanyahu for that matter, has chosen a leader for the Iranian people. Even though it has been 47 years, and may have seemed impossible, I’m sure they’ve got an idea of who they might want to lead their country.
Well, 20,000 or more Iranians have been murdered by the regime in the last few weeks in order to thwart “regime change,” so that should count for something.
It’s all about breaking Iran’s transactions with Russia and China. The three are interdependent on each other, with the mutual goal of destroying the west.
Trump is da man!
History will prove PDT to be one of the great world leaders of all time
King of the Jungle.

Sidetrack… why is Spain not cooperating?
Spain spent 700 years evicting the moors & have invited Islam to return to evict their native, racist & facist population.
Can’t have the US pizzing off their new “citizens”…
A: Commies, allied with Allah those other guys.
I have posted here how the Spanish politicians are now all in on illegal immigration and Islamic rights and laws. They have come right out and said the immigrants are there to replace the local populations. Do you think they are now suddenly going to change their stance?
Spain’s local populations have been shrinking due to aging and low fertility. Half of the population is over 65 or under 16. Immigration is used to make up for the missing young adults. Even with that Spain is below replacement percentages.
They could bring in all kinds of Hispanics from Mexico, Central America and South America who would speak the language adequately, be Catholic Christians, are culturally decended from Spain and are looking for economic opportunities. To bring in radical Islam makes no sense unless you hate your own.
So they are in line with most of Western Europe, population-wise.
Reminds me of King George and his Hessians mercenaries teaming up to oppress the Americans.
How did that end, anyway?
Georgie FAFO’d
also Hermann!
It ended up with a lot of dead Germans and quite a few who deserted. They were, despite the popular myth, quite good troops, mercenary or not.
Yes, they actually fought on both sides………kinda like some of the Indian groups. They didn’t want to hedge their bets. Most Indians did side with the British though. The documentary on the American Revolution by Ken Burns was very well done and I tell all of you with PBS to find and watch. Very enlightening…..
Why do you think it took the UK and France so long to make a gesture? Western Europe is being colonized.
Dear BFAW,
There is an historical component that is often overlooked. During the Spanish Inquisition, the main target was the Jewish population. In order to determine if Jewish converts to Christianity were not secretly still practicing their religion, the authorities tortured and killed people they determined were converting to escape the purge of Semites.
I believe their lack of cooperation has to do with their antisemitism along with their rapidly expanding population of muslims. Some things do not change down through the centuries. They would rather see a nuclear powered Iran than to see the Nation of Israel survive.
One of the ironies of that whole era in Spanish history is that the Barbary pirates (Islamists) evacuated thousands of Jews to Northern Africa for their safety and usefulness in building a thriving economy there.
That is very interesting. Were they using them as slave labor, or was it a mutually beneficial arrangement?
Thank you so much for the information.
Long story, but I have spent the last two years down a rabbit hole of Pirate History. Per the Pirate History Podcasts, they were not enslaved but brought a bunch of technology with them including more modern ship building techniques, merchant/trading connections, etc. It was mutually beneficial.
Superb information. That must be a very engrossing treasure trove of knowledge. I tip my feathered cap to you.
Much to BuckNutGals dismay, I have kind of become the Cliff Clavin of Pirate History. Lol.
You make a good arrghument, Buck!
Good one matie.
May I suggest a fragrant bouquet and a melodic invitation:
“BuckNutsGal, won’t you come out tonight, come out tonight, come out tonight”……………..
You are a gem.
I love it when someone goes down a historical rabbit hole. I have done that myself, but what I wanted to understand was what countries cooperated with Hitler and why, and what countries hid and saved fleeing Jews. I also wanted to understand the Russian transition from Soviet tmes to now. And… what spurred the Irish and Scots to leave their countries and come to America. So many interesting topics that are not accurately taught now.
It’s best to get ahold of old historical books, rather than “search the Internet” since so much current information is pure garbage. It’s been interesting. It seems, and I could be wrong, that most young people today do not have history well in hand. And if they do not, they will repeat it. A definite concern to me.
It all started on a trip a few years back to the US Virgin Islands. There is a small island between St Thomas and St John’s called Lovango. Our charter captain said it derived its name from a Whore House that was on the island back in the age of sail and thus the Pirates called it “Love and Go.”
Somehow, I thought to myself: “I need to learn more about these pirates.” And here I am..LOL
Genesis 12
3
I will bless those who bless you,
and I will curse those who curse you.
I will use you to bless
all the people on earth.”
Then we are being blessed right now. Awesome!
Look up Baldassarre Cossa, known as Pope John XXIII, the pirate who became pope with the backing of the Medici Family if I remember correctly.
You shout also note as horrible as it was in 300 years only 600 people were burned at stake. And yes probably 100,000 or more were mutilated.
There were 652 people in my hometown growing up. A sobering comparison.
The methods of torture are the stuff nightmares can’t touch.
Thank you, John, for adding to the conversation and historical perspective.
Queen Elizabeth I killed more Catholics during her reign than the Spanish did heretics and Jews during the Inquisition.
They also killed a lot of Christians because people that we wanted revenge or a competitor out of the way said ‘I had him to dinner, served pork and he refused to eat the pork, he is a secret Jew.
Kind of like the Salem witch trials.
I don’t care what Spain does. They are irrelevant.
Because they belong to Michelle Obama.
Spain is ruled not by their monarch King Felipe, but by a hardcore Leftist, Sanchez, who has just legitimized 500,00 Muslim invaders so that with their newly acquired voting rights, the Islamo Marxists will retain power forever.
One thing for certain…
We are quickly discovering who our allies are…and which are not.
The list is growing.
Good to know.
NATO is dead.
These recipients are amazing. The story about the WWII prisoner who organized all of his fellow 1200+ prisoners to identify as Jewish was exceptional. “I am Spartacus!!!” What an exceptional man.
Master Sergeant Roddy Edmonds also kept his men from leaving the camp as ordered when the Germans fled. Many would have died otherwise.
A true American guy.
Doesn’t the remarks on Iran begin at the 3:00 minute mark and end where the segment is set to start?
-“There have been 46 US Presidents since George Washington: some good, others not so much. As the artist, I decided to put together my team of the most magnificent seven Presidents. How did I choose this motley crew? Each was loved and hated for different reasons, but all stood against the establishment and to fight for American ideals. These are
– The Magnificent Seven!”
Jon McNaughton
Left to right: Thomas Jefferson, Ronald Reagan, George Washington, Donald Trump, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy
Where is General/President Andrew Jackson, the people’s Potus,… and pardon, George Washington should always be listed first, without him, there would be no USA. Otherwise, very good work!
Kudos, TY. (an artist myself,… I appreciate your painting,… Trump standing on the head of the snake is a nice subtle touch)
The three Presidents in the middle were/are responsible for creating or bringing the nation back from the brink.
Left of the three is Washington the first President of the newly created Republic of America. The middle of the three is President of course is President Trump, bringing back the Republic this very day and time. The right of three is Lincoln, saving the Republic during the civil war.
🎯
Think as centrality indicating importance and being on the edge indicating fringeness. The list, as indicated is left to right.
But I have a problem with 46. Trump is 45 & 47, but one other President served two non-consecutive terms. Grover Cleveland, 22 & 24.
So we have had 45 presidents.
It was Jackson who staved off the curse of a Central Bank, until Wilson got in.
Perhaps Teddy’s inclusion should be reconsidered since it’s his selfish fault we got stuck with Wilson, and the Federal Reserve and the Federal Income Tax which he signed into law.
Correct,…. and without Gen’l Jackson (and Pirate Jean Lafitte), we would not have won the Battle of New Orleans where they defeated Britain’s largest army/navy in the world that had already burned the White House in WDC.
This battle Factually ratified the Treaty of Ghent (ironically signed three weeks before the battle in NOLA) and preserved the factual Louisiana Purchase bought by Jefferson from France with a loan from England, that allowed the Westward expansion of American democracy.
Jackson also won the Indian war in FL before NOLA, had a hand in creating the Republic of Texas and created the Trail of Tears as President.
Jackson should never have been president. Among other things he was the First President of the Democratic Party formed by Arron Burr the traitor who killed Hamilton and then had a henchman kill Hamilton’s son with the same dueling pistols that killed his father. Those pistols are displayed in a non public area of a Bank Burr founded in NYC starting with the letter C.
It should also be remembered that Hamilton was a Huge proponent of a US Central Bank, which was indeed founded and came to be known as the First Central Bank of the United States, at the urging of none other than the Rothschilds. It has been said that he was an active agent of the Rothschilds and advocated for policies which would expand their wealth and reach within the US.
George Washington and Donald Trump are 1A and 1B on the GOAT list in my opinion.
Greatest Of All Time!!
May God continue to bless our magnificent President!
Re: Washington – When measuring presidents, we should maintain the distinction between his achievements as General of the Continental Army vs. his service as President of the US.
JFK? He started the Cuban missile crisis by placing missiles in Europe. It ended because he backed off. The Soviets called his bluff and won. Why did he make the list?
Either way, you definitely are a talented artist!
Maybe because he was challenging the MIC, CIA, questioned the sanity of the Vietnam conflict as the French were surrendering (again), and challenging the Global Banksters by issuing new Federal Treasury Notes rather than continuing to borrow from the Federal Reserve.
It’s possible he lost his life to it, by his own people who were part of those forces.
Plus,… to elaborate, the Dulles brothers who ran the CIA and State were more than miffed that JFK had interfered with (withdrew US air cover) and blotched their Bay Of Pigs Invasion in 1961 that failed. He “meddled with the primal forces of nature!” (Network)
Also, General Douglas MacArthur wanted JFK court marshaled for disobeying standing Torpedo Boat standing orders and got his PT109 cut in half by a Japanese Destroyer. Big Daddy Joe, intervened to save his naval officer status and following career.
His ghost written book should have been entitled “Profiles in
CourageInfluence!”All due respect, but this is anti-historicism.
In 1959, the Eisenhower Administration placed intermediate range nuclear missiles (i.e. Thor and Jupiter missiles) in England, Italy and Turkey. Between 1959 and 1962 nuclear missile technology had advanced such that by 1962 these missiles were outdated and needed to be replaced.
Say what you want about the deal to remove them during the Cuban Missile Crisis, but Kennedy did not place the missiles in Europe, his predecessor did.
It’s also well known that that after the Bay of Pigs fiasco Kennedy said he wanted to “splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds.” This statement and his subsequent efforts to reorganize the CIA got him killed by the establishment/CIA in 1963.
Yep,… Cui Bono, applies here, imho.
but not Sonny?
Taking the power from the Fed and letting Treasury print Silver Certificates didn’t help, either.
You know he was one of the good guys–they only shoot or overthrow the good ones.
Yes, the missiles needed replacement. But that had nothing to do with the agreement. The Jupiter missiles were the source of disagreement with Khruschev because of proximity to the Soviet Union.
The agreement was met that both would remove their missiles in Operation Pot Pie. Yes, then we upgraded to Polaris after the agreement in April of 1963

Kennedy started nothing, he was handed a bag of snakes and delt with it the best way he could. Eisenhower,Congress and the CIA all set him up for a fall…
Not necessarily. JFK cancelled the BoP ground invasion and air support, and the failure broadcast to the world was what directly led to Kruschev sneaking the missiles in and the subsequent Cuban Missile Crisis.
In other words, the CMC was a crisis of his own making, however unintentional.
These men also did things to tarnish their reputations. Thomas Jefferson stabbed Washington in the back and Martha Washington said the worst day of her life was the day Jefferson crossed the threshold of their home. Washington and the whiskey rebellion. Ronald Regan ordered the bombing of the Baal Valley where all of the leaders of Islamic Terrorists we’re gathering after the bombing of the marine barracks and the planes were fully fueled armed on the catapults to be launched when inexplicably they were ordered to stand down. Teddy Roosevelt in his attempt to be re-elected was backed by the Progressive Party. Lincoln was a man too and had his faults but I will only praise him. Kennedy in his attempt to make up with Winston Churchill offered him dual citizenship in the U.S. opening the way for the mess we have now with mainstream media.
Not all roses; not in any story.
His mom was American. He was a big fan of Lincoln and Washington.
Please expand on the Winston Churchill and media connection.
People are just people. They rise to some occasions and fail at other times. Nobody has 20/20 foresight. This is as true of Presidents and Popes as it is of the rest of us. And, frankly, even those who learn from history are doomed to repeat some of it. That’s human nsture.
For some reason it always bothers me when I see Trump with a weapon in his hand, I have always thought of him as a president of peace, some what like Kennedy. It is Men like me who’s job it is to dispense such wrath…
Kennedy? He was a Torpedo Boat commander in the Pacific theater during world war two. He was wounded and lost his PT boat #109 after it was cut in half by a Jap destroyer. He factored strongly in his and his crews rescue but may have been rash and not following orders when he lost his boat.
He was a war fighter. Good thing President Trump didn’t have a weapon ready to hand when he was shot…..he came up off the ground ready to fight!
IMHO President Trump is a natural fighter but one who fully realizes the value and the humanity of peace.
Thank you for your service DG and stay safe.
Hopefully, he is doing it quick. A point of concern. Iran is 4 times bigger than Iraq. Iran is roughly the size of Alaska.
So two weeks then.
Yes, but 80% of the Iranian people are on our side. In Iraq, it was the other way around.
The big question:
Was this war really necessary?
President Trump brought up the Iran hostage crisis (a reaction to previous meddling of the U.S. in Iran’s internal affairs),
and the bombing of the Marine barracks (this time a reaction to U.S. involvement in Lebanon).
Are the Iranian mullahs really wicked?
Like many things, that depends on the eye of the beholder.
The Iranian people overthrew the rule of the Shah.
If the mullahs are hated as much as the Shah was, they could overthrow their rule.
I think this operation is a huge mistake, which has the possibility of opening Pandora’s box.
Some in the Middle East will admire it, others will loathe it.
The U.S. has meddled in the M.E. far too much.
Who knows what the consequences will be?
China had previously obtained 20pct of their oil from Venezuela and Iran, now they don’t.
Your concern is noted. Thank you.
(censored)
Ha! Good one !
Thank you for your attention to this matter. 🙂
Yes. Yes. The consequences will be that a country run by people who have screamed for your death since February 11, 1979 and truly believe in their soul that murdering you will get them to paradise don’t end up with ballistic and inter-ballistic nuclear tipped missiles (in addition to the suitcase varietals).
Now say thank you President Trump for stopping them and saving me.
For the life of me, I can’t understand how folks like Keith can’t understand this basic logic. A vile regime of the most radical islamists were determined to obtain nuclear weapons and our allies in that region, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan have all stated that if Iran gets a nuke then we’ll have no choice. Nuclear armed Iran was simply a horrible concept and at least one president gave a damn about the future our children inherit. This issue is as binary and simple as it gets.
Fire !
A valid reason for attacking Iran again, IMO,
would be if Iran was approaching acquiring nuclear bombs.
But eliminating that threat doesn’t require the extensive targeting that is taking place.
This is way overkill just to eliminate the nuclear threat.
Have you ever watched any documentary discussion on the special forces team that operated in Vietnam. The basic gist is once your enemy enters a life or death situation with you. Then you make damn sure he’s dead, not fake dead, half dead or soon to be dead. You end it right then and there. If PDJT made any mistake, is when we first attacked their nuclear sites we should have ended Iran’s leadership right then and there. Half dead ain’t dead. Guess what, if more Mullahs enter the void in Iran, kill them too.
Maybe you should be president.
He already has-the 8 years before President Trump was first elected.
This isn’t just about a nuclear threat anymore. This is about wiping away their missile capabilities. The US and Israel are wiping everything and everyone they need to off the chess board.
It was probably about time to do so.
Glad you are not in charge.
Lord have mercy. There is nothing overkill about it. The radical Islamasists want you dead. You, and every Christian, Jew, and “non-believer” dead. Women are nothing but animals to them, as the Supreme Leader described in one of his inspirational talks comparing women (don’t forget the little girls and little boys) to donkeys owned by the men and specifically for their pleasure. Even the people of Iran have been begging to be freed! I can’t imagine any position that supports allowing them to have weapons of any kind, ever. Blast them off the planet and send them to Paradise please. Free the Iranian people to build their society.
And speaking of intensive targeting? That would be Iran.
And another insincere commentary. The laundry list is huge of just how evil the Iranian regime was. Just ask the victims of Oct 7 Jews. How about converse with the families of exiled Iranians that were lucky enough to get out. How about all the victims of Hamas and Hezbollah. Lastly is there’s no way we should tolerate a nuclear armed Iran. That would have led to Saudi Arabia, the Egypt and subsequently Jordan all firing up their nuclear weapons program all provided by China and Russia.
Anything is possible Keith. Let’s just pray that this is over as fast as it started with minimal casualties.
So this is what they are teaching in history class today? Suggest you sit back and wise up before posting trash. Some folk might give it some credence. Sorry for them. Not so much you. Never did cotton to ignorance. Alinsky is dead get over it!
Thank you for your analysis Mr. Obama.
Well, Keith – I suggest you engage in some in depth research of the roots of the Islamic revolution. The Shah always referred to “The Red and the Black” – the partnership between the clerics and the communists as the basis for the 1979 revolution. The clerics appealed to a small segment of Iranians – those who rejected Western civilization, and those who traded in the Bazar (the “Bazari’s”). The Shah was well loved for his literacy efforts – having created a corps modeled after the peace corps – people who went into the villages to teach agriculture, literacy, veterinary practices, sanitation. The Shah and his wife were devoted to modernizing the country. The Shah’s father (Reza Shah) famously rode down a major Blvd on horseback in the 1920’s, ripping chadors off women, signifying the removal of the shackle of the chador. Medical, architectural, engineering flourished beginning in the ’50s. Women were granted the right to vote. When the Shah and Queen left in 1979, they chose this as he would not turn the military on his own people or engage in mass bloodshed.
The horrors and tyranny that ensued was shocking and nothing but utter depravity.
Recently I saw a pic of a 16 year old girl – a noose around her neck as she was about to be hung by way of a crane. What was her ‘crime’? She was gang raped and sentenced to death for a ‘morality’ crime.
The Islamofascism of those ghouls was utter depravity.
You wrote: “If the mullahs are hated as much as the Shah was, they could overthrow their rule.” Hahahah. HOW??? 32,000 took to the streets and were slaughtered. Your ignorance of the history of the last 50-60 years is pretty remarkable.
This is not so much a war of immediacy as it is a war of strategy and foresight. There is a nexus among all of Trump’s recent actions, and they comprise an effort to save the U.S. from a very dark future that no one else has been willing to confront. He has a short time to achieve this goal, and he knows it.
However, Iran with WMDs and intercontinental delivery systems would represent a threat to everyone.
Just a question? Do you follow what is happening in American cities after the fall of these religious dictators or not? That usually is my go to as opposed to liberal woman and people on the internet with their concerns as opposed to the people and families that have lived it.
I think President Trump is giving the Iranian people their chance and I believe this is it. The Iranians better stand up because I believe this will be their last help from the United States. Along with the side by side with Israel. We are giving them both an opportunity and if they don’t take it, it will never happen again with President Trumps support, anyway.
Seems like Iran had a deep bench of leadership.
And we have deep penetrating bombs.

Thank you, Sundance. I like to hear our President speak.
We certainly are getting a full education on Iran’s military capabilities, their willingness to engage, and the targets & ranges they already had dialed in. I personally appreciate every single one of our allies & partners in this who were there at the start. I pray we prevail and that peace settles over the ME for ages to come. I am also remembering in prayer the families & loved ones of those killed & wounded. The bravery and committment they have offered is above and beyond. God Bless them all. 🙏❤️🇺🇲

On a side note at least we are expending our munitions on assets worth something unlike Afghanistan or Iraq were we used a $400,000 ? $4,000,000 cruise missile to blow up a mud hut.
Ace of Spades HQ:
Trump: “The Big Wave” of Attacks on the Islamic Regime Occupying Iran Hasn’t Even Started YetSpeculation: The “Ground Forces” Phase of This War May Be Fought Entirely With Drone Hunter-Killers—Disinformation Expert Ace
Via Instapundit, from CNN:
“… It’s literally true that the “big wave” hasn’t started yet, or has only barely started.
The first waves of the attack were Tomahawk missiles and then stealth fighters. Those attacks degraded Iran’s radars, air bases, and fighter fleet, so that the later waves could include B-2 bombers dropping tons of explosives.
I saw a report that B-2s already flew from Missouri to start blowing up Iran’s underground stores of ballistic missiles. I imagine Trump is suggesting that we’re going to get more and more B-2 strategic bombing.
Iran’s ballistic missiles are its most dangerous weapon at the moment. Both the US and Israel are working hard to take them out…
After all of Iran’s air capabilities and ballistic missiles are taken out, I imagine the war will then turn to killing the Revolutionary Guard and the riot police and the remaining thugs.
Now, I had thought that there was no way to win a war without ground forces. I didn’t envision the US or Israel sending ground forces. I imagined that we would have to start air-dropping in tons of guns, grenades, and encrypted radios so that the population could arm itself in preparation for street fighting.
They may still do that.
But there might also be a way to fight ground forces… with air power.
In the Ukraine, drones have proven to be the most deadly weapon in the war. It’s the new artillery. Artillery, historically, had been the part of the military that actually killed the most enemy forces.
But instead of lobbing huge shells, the new drone warfare consists of using $10,000 to $40,000 drones to carry grenades and repurposed landmines directly over vehicles and groups of enemy soldiers, and then dropping that small munition with pinpoint accuracy. If you’re extreme accurate, you can kill a lot of people with a tiny amount of explosives. (If you’re inaccurate, you need to drop huge bombs with a huge blast radius.)
I saw one drone attack in Ukraine in which the drone dropped a landmine through the open sunroof of a Russian SUV, killing all four people in the vehicle. Drones routinely drop grenades on soldiers taking cover behind walls or in ditches. You can’t take cover from them. They have changed the geometry of the battlefield.
Over the weekend, Iranian “Riot Police” — thugs and torturers, in other words — rode their motorcycles into the city to attempt to reclaim it from protesters.
Had they made it to the protesters, they would have slaughtered them.
But they were attacked by a drone…
So is this the Trump/Israeli warplan? First take out all strategic threats with missiles and heavy bombs, and then shift to a tactical counter-infantry war by just killing every Regime enforcer they see with drones?
I think it must be.
Iran has thousands of drones. Those are knock-offs of more expensive American drones.
But Pete Hegseth — who I was assured was an incompetent drunk and meathead — did something clever. He ordered up new drone designs which are knock-offs of the Iranian knock-offs of the American originals — and the new knock-offs are half as expensive as the Iran-made knock-offs.
They only cost $35,000 each. We can flood the country with thousands of these Hunter-Killer Terminators without any Americans being exposed to enemy fire.”
Update:
Those Shahed style drones are not suitable for targeting personnel. They are meant for fixed targets. Enter the GPS coordinates and send them off on their own.— Serious Cat
Ah maybe, yes, I guess these particular drones are “kamikaze drones,” which fly into their target and blow up.
But I imagine we have a lot of the kind they use in Ukraine for anti-personnel missions. Those are store-bought commercial drones lightly modified for military use. They cost like $5,000. ” ……..
Read it all: Ace of Spades HQ
Just read that 210 tankers and ships anchored outside the Strait of Hormuz are experiencing AIS Transponder interference. I wouldn’t be surprised if China was behind that. Just my guess. China likes to use hacking and my understanding is they are pretty good at it.
Regarding the Ukraine war, I read awhile back that North Korean troops were fighting in the Ukraine War for Russia and that it gives them valuable combat experience. It occurs to me that these military operations against Iran and Venezuela are giving the US valuable experience as well. The US has to keep their military in top condition and they do this with tests and training. It all costs money. Money that could be spent on destroying enemies, which also gives the military experience. Anyway, just my thoughts as I read the news today.
What is the Mockingbird media going to complain about when Iran can’t fire any more missiles and the war is over?
I don’t believe the problem in Iran or any of the other Muslim states can be solved until their educational institutions are removed from the hands of the clerics. In Germany after WII we executed many of their teachers and reformed the educational system to stop indoctrination of children. I also believe we must undue the damage to our own educational system caused by Dewey in the 1930’s replacing reading writing and arithmetic plus the history of our founding with the crap they indoctrinated in our children for the last hundred years.
Tousi.TV now reporting major defections by Iranian military.
I’m always reduced to a weepy mess hearing these stories. All gave some but some gave all. I’m just grateful that a true blue patriot President is hosting this ceremony and not some foolish prog woman with no gratitude. Praise God!!
They should give me a medal for having to endure four years of Biden and eight years of Obama.
Sundance has now gone nuts with this. Shocking. Long term reader who has read this site since at least 2013. I didn’t think we would me such gullible suckers with any president even if his name is Trump.
You sound terribly British with the “shocking” and the “reader”. Sorry you are so disappointed but could you please be a bit more specific and have a bit more of an explanation?
I found it inappropriate to speak about the conflict during an honor ceremony which deserves its own uninterrupted slice of time. Especially an honor ceremony for posthumous awards.
One of the few times you will hear me critique the President but that is my opinion. Save the conflict for the press briefings.
Really? Since I don’t wish to annoy the moderators I will retain my counsel.
