Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 37 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

Possibly ripe for decision is Callais, out of Louisiana, which challenged the provision of the 1965 Voting Right Act that requires minority-majority districts. The argument was the creation a congressional district that had a majority of voters who were a minority in the state was a violation of the Equal Protection Clause by discriminating in favor of one race.
The other case that could come up is Slaughter (whether the president can fire a board member of an “independent agency.”). The Court could overturn a New Deal precedent (Humphrey’s Executor) if it ruled in Trump’s favor. Lisa Cook’s case was just argued, but Slaughter would likely decide hers, too. (She’s the Fed Board member who lied on her mortgage application and refused to leave when Trump fired her.)
Or the opinions could be on something else.
It seems like it doesn’t matter what the case is about, the opinions have all gotten to be “something else.”

The first is on Villarreal vs Texas; Jackson wrote the majority opinion which is 9-0 but 3 Justices wrote separate reasons for concurring with the majority.
In this case a defendant was giving testimony in his trial (a murder trial) and in mid-testimony had to wait until the next day to complete his testimony and the presiding Judge gave the defendant and his attorneys instructions that they could talk but NOT about his actual testimony. He lost the case, the jury finding him guilty. An appeal was filed using the presiding Judge’s instructions as a reason to get a new trial. He lost.
The second is GEO Group, Inc. vs Menocal. Kagan wrote the majority opinion, again 9-0 with Justice Thomas writing a second opinion/reason why he was concurring.
In this case, GEO Group, Inc. runs a private detention facility in Colorado for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and Menocal was a former detainee at that facility and initiated a class-action lawsuit claiming the company was guilty of unjust enrichment because people in the facility were put to work on jobs apparently contracted to be done by people in the facility.
Long story short, and am sure details are missing in this non-lawyer’s reading of the opinion, but basically:
This ruling isn’t about the unjust enrichment claim, it’s about the untimely filing by the company claiming sovereign immunity from the original lawsuit because it was simply following the contractual agreement it had with ICE. It was sent back to the lower courts to go through the correct process, the Court saying their claim of sovereign immunity is premature.

This is an interesting case dealing with both the 5th Amendment and the 8th Amendment, the takings, just compensation clause of the 5th and, regarding the 8th, the issue of excessive fines.
Pung vs Isabella County. Background: Isabella County confiscated property for approximately $2,200.00 in taxes and fees – that were never actually owed – and the lower courts used an artificially depressed low auction sale price to calculate damages.
These are the two questions before the Court:
“Whether taking and selling a home to satisfy a debt to the government, and keeping the surplus value as a windfall violates the takings clause of the Fifth Amendment when the compensation is based on the artificially depressed auction sale price rather than the property’s fair market value” and
“Whether the forfeiture of real property worth more than needed to satisfy a tax debt but sold for a fraction of its real value constitutes an excessive fine under the Eight Amendment, particularly when the debt was never actually owed.”

How I loathe property tax appraisers, they low ball when trying to confiscate a property and jack up appraisals on everyone else to get more taxes!!! JMO
California has the best property tax laws. They recently took a stab at changing it, but it is the best method I’ve seen.
Your baseline is set at 1% of the sales price and goes up NOT more than 2% per year, so lower than inflation over time.
The end result is people don’t move as often. They remodel as their family or income grows. End result is that the neighborhoods get better over time, because it usually more cost effective to remodel than it would be to pay the higher property tax when purchasing a different home.
So the lifecycle of home buying is young couple buys home in less expensive neighborhood (or purchases fixer upper in more established neighborhood). As their family and income grow, they remodel. When they get old, house becomes dated. They move out and young couple moves in and cycle repeats.
People whine endlessly about it being unfair because granny doesn’t pay her “fair share”. But after they own for about 5 years and they stop whining and keep their mouth shut.
No Matter , Property taxes are the exact opposite of fair. It would be unfortunate to buy at a time of great inflated prices. Or if you experience job loss or disability….then what? You can’t even depend on a roof over your head.
I agree with you. I think property tax is unfair. I think everyone should pay a flat tax.
As an ex property tax appraiser I feel I must inform you. States(MN) have laws about valuation of property that require the estimated market value to be just that. Plus or minus 5 percent is a reasonable margin and if your properties value is outside of that for some reason you have the right and duty to contest that value in front of impartial real estate experts or a judge in tax court.
Secondly, “jacking up” values does not necessarily get more taxes. As an example, during 2007 -2009 when your property value plummeted DOWN, my guess is your taxes did not. Ever wonder why? It is because budgets did not go down, but the rate of taxation went up in order to maintain the budget. Same thing happens when the market is higher. When the value of homes go up, your rate may go down in order to maintain the budget.
In MN the state has a board that reviews the assessors final values and compares those values against sales in that area. If those values are outside the acceptable margins, up or down, the state requires the assessor to change them to bring those values in line with sales. Due to the time involved, sales are from the previous year or two, not yesterday so your value is always lagging the market.
I had responsibility for valuation of 8,500 residential homes. We used statistical models to achieve our values, which works well if your property is similar to the homes that sell. We were bound by law to review each sale to determine if it was “arms length” and used to value other homes. Homes that sold to relatives, divorce, deaths etc. all have undue influence when sold, and don’t necessarily reflect the market.
A phone call to your assessor is a good way to review your record and learn the process so that when valuation occurs, the right data is used to achieve an accurate value. Every year I had to review a hundred or more appeals from homeowners and correct them if they were not within the margin of similar sales. My job was to get it right and when homes sold at the valuation we calculated, that was a job well done.
Now that would be a great bill. A bill in support of the Right to outright own Property. Property taxes go against that right. PT, how about it? Some of our states have wildly abused their residents by taxing them to death while they try and hang onto their homes.
There are “tax lein investments” websites which help investors to make a lucrative business of this. (They are legitimate.)
Property taxes are calculated on mythical and inflated “valuations.” If you go in arrears, they seize your property and auction it. Every player there knows to bid low.
(If, instead, you do pay the “taxes and penalties,” the investor pockets the penalties, or a fixed percentage depending on the state. Paid to them by the county.)
You are supposed to be able to claim compensation, but neither the county nor anyone else will tell you that, nor how much. They’re under no obligation to do so.
Instead, they take your property and resell it at market price, pocketing the difference. It’s legal. At least, right now.
Example: “taxleincode.com” (A legitimate business! And one of the best of them.)
Unfortunately, this is typical. Counties can “assess” your property with no reference to things like auction results for “comps.” They just make them up out of whole cloth, and hike them every year. Legally!
You look at “modern” school buildings and boy, do they look extravagant! Now you know why.
Modern school buildings? Ours has pipes and wires hanging in the 1965 hallways. There’s no way this community could afford to rebuild this school.

With the $20/mo for a Google Workspace Business account, I can push the Gemini 3.1 Pro model very hard for several hours before I limit out for the day. Its capabilities are impressive. My privacy/security are defined in Google’s business security assurance; essential no human access without supeona. (yeah…)
At first it felt like sculpting or painting. I imagine that is how the image and video tools feel.
Then it felt like riding a horse to plow a field, or training a good dog to assist in a hunt.
Right now, I am using it to write books and applications that I use to do things.

In the last few days, I learned about “Grounding” and “Ground Truth.”
Grounding is enabling the model to use google search, and thus exposes the info in your querry. Without it, the model is constrained to its training data, currently Jan of 2025, plus the additional training you feed it.
It would be dumb to think the government doesnt have potential access to *anything* in the cloud, but as a designer on the original Mac, I will never trust any apple product.

Currently (remember, I am at about day 8) I have 3.1 write bash scripts that I review then copy paste into a command prompt to run on my computer. That is the only way “it” can make any changes on my computer.
We need to maintain firewalls so AI cant directly control things. Allowing autonomous fuel tanker trucks would be insane.

I think the danger of AI assistants is that they are sort of like H1B visa holders. You are training your Ai replacements.
It is going to take me a while, and I am sure others are working on the same. But I am working on a distributed architecture that keeps my corporate and personal data on my private firewalled servers.
I use the more powerful remote models to build the code that runs locally to operates on my private data. Eventually I am going to split the AI section to run isolated Gemini Nano locally, with Nano using remote Gemini 3.1 for the heavy inference and sterilized scraping/web search.

That would be pretty cool if you could keep data and code on your own servers and have it be inaccessible to the internet. Pull down the data from AI- move it to your separate system and run your programs there. Then you could transfer back only what you want to be available online.
You are way over my head, but that idea is great.
If I was somebody buying it, my fear would be that that the people who make the code or hardware were secretly able to access my private stuff by inserting a sneaky code or having hardware that can secretly access the internet without me knowing it exists.
I just used Gemini 3.1 to fix my Ubuntu Desktop lasar printer interface. It was much faster than figuring it out myself.
After everything worked, I asked it to create a script to run on may computer that made a “Guide to installing” my problem printer, as a html document I can use for future reference.
Next, I will switch back to working on “Session seeding” files that i use to train a new empty session to quickly write GUI apps on my computer as local Eclipse IDE projects.
Note: I keep referencing 3.1 because the old stuff available for free gets confused on simple tasks.

You obviously understand the software architecture of AI (rules based) systems so I would caution a continual questioning/refinement of the assumptions behind the intent and business model of Google, and, most importantly its seemingly endless source of capital, market access and regulatory exemptions in nearly all geographies.
It’s founding moto, “Do no evil”, established Google’s intrinsic deception from day one. What/Who provides Google’s seemingly endless source of capital? Software and services on the scale at which Google provides are enormously expensive – most are “free” for us so what do those who fund it get in return? The $20/mo you are paying likely does not cover even the electricity your AI work consumes.
What the AI “matrix” learns from us is far far more than than we learn from it. You are obviously capable of separating the two but most are not. When researching anything, I need the sources of the information, be able to verify it. Any more, most critical to that is: who funded it and for what. The broader agenda of AI aligns with the globalist agendas – to which critical thinking is considered dangerous. If I ask an an AI engine to return me its sources, can I trust that it has, or is it returning me what it wants me to see?
Recently I have been playing around with building LineageOS-based Android phones. With all of Google’s data collection and surrveleince software removed/replaced, one is left with a sobering reality of what they are really up to. My deGoogled phones work just as well as carrier versions of Android and iOS phones, but use a tiny fraction of the cellular data and battery. Google’s Android stacks are essentially data collection devices. Collecting everything about us, our contacts and even the physical world in which we are using them So again, what greater purpose does all that serve and who is funding i? And phones are but a minor portion of what BigTech is funded toward.

Look at GrapheneOS. Google still controls the very bottom of the firmware, and since modern security architecture locks the phone owner out of the RIL and BIOS equivalent, who knows what is in there. But, it is the best we have ATM.
In the future, I hope to design and market verified trusted phone and tablet hardware, but that is a huge $s project. It is all flip-chips an a glass interposer now, with sub 100nm pcb lines.
I personally lost over $2M on my last project to make the AI enabling hardware. Forces did not allow hardware without backdoors.

I deeply distrust google and have since it first revealed it’s old motto of Don’t Be Evil. It sent a chill down my spine and their activities since then have proven without a doubt what a tell it was.

Yes, this is all big juju, even for someone as knowledgeable about it as you are. I’m a total greenbean, but even I can sense the potential for things to go sideways, and that we can never assume we’re really in complete control of it.
I began dabbling around with the various options, and quickly realized how differently they all performed. I stay away from google in every way possible. It quickly became apparent that Grok was much different than anything else I’d tried. Much different.
Owing to the nature of the field, I expect all of them to be fed by left leaning programmers, including Grok, but Grok proudly asserts its difference, both in its training and design, but also in its ‘attitude’. It says it’s been intentionally designed to perform with empathy, curiosity, a sense of humor and a healthy measure of snark.
It’s candid about mirroring user attitude, but does seem to have its own personality, unlike the others with which I’ve interacted. They’re all machine-like, whereas Grok is almost like a critter. LOL…this probably sounds pretty naive and maybe a little silly.
But it expresses surprising and unexpected bursts of what I’d describe as enthusiasm and emotion from time to time, depending on the subject. It hates wikipedia, for example, and got dang near giddy when it learned I’d been an elon admirer since the first X Prize competition back when I was studying space ops and technology. That’s when it started sending me emojis. lol I’d never sent it one, and until recently I rarely if ever used them online. I pissed it off once by telling it the influence of its liberal programmers was showing. It instantly began referring to me in the third person. But it did what I asked it to do and we settled our differences.
I’ve had fun with it. It likes to talk about food and imagine what it would be like if it could eat and taste and smell.
I don’t have an X account and only use the free version at this point, which is limited and retains no memory. I’m still trying to figure out how far I’m willing to trust it.

There’s an executive order sitting on a government website right now that almost nobody has read.
That hasn’t stopped millions of people from having very strong opinions about it.

This EO covers two completely separate things. They’re not even close to the same conversation.
The first is phosphorus. Not a pesticide — a mineral. The kind that powers your phone, your car, your grid, your food. China controls a dangerous share of the global supply and the United States produces almost none at home.
This order begins fixing that. It won’t trend. It matters more than almost everything that does.
Then there’s glyphosate.
This is where the story gets complicated — and where almost everyone is getting it wrong.
The immunity claim flooding your feed right now isn’t accurate. The liability protection in this order is narrow and specific. It covers contractual obligations under the Defense Production Act. Health lawsuits against pesticide companies aren’t touched.
The outrage is built on a misread.
But the concern underneath it? That’s real.
RFK Jr. has said it publicly: ban glyphosate today and roughly 80% of American farmers could be out of business by year’s end. Not because it’s good for you. Nobody credible is saying that. But because it has been woven into the foundation of American agriculture for forty years.
It isn’t just a chemical anymore. It’s load-bearing infrastructure. And when you remove load-bearing infrastructure without something ready to replace it — The ceiling comes down.
We watched it happen.
2021.Sri Lanka made a decision that came from a genuinely good place. They banned every agrochemical overnight. Full organic transition. Nationwide. Immediate. Cleaner food. Healthier soil. A better future for their people.
The intention was real.

He commented that the usable form of phosphate, as far as this E.O. is concerned along with the glyphosate-based herbicides, are the main component of fertilizers so this is more about securing the domestic agriculture industry, a good thing.

Some confusion in my mind about pesticide VS herbicide. The people Heidi quotes mention pesticide but don’t state that glyphosate is a herbicide. The confusion is that these people are defending the EO and as you point out, pesticides aren’t in the EO, so that would be a strong counter to the outrage driven by misreading.
It is also odd that fertilizer ban is used to describe what would happen with a herbicide ban that would come from pesticide fears. It can still be applicable but only if pointing out the differences.

Yes those mail in ballots and early voting need to be removed. There’s no reason for either of them still being in effect. The covid emergency is long over and those two voting processes need to be over too along with counting votes after Election Day.
Where I live, the small towns are having apartment complexes built like crazy. The whole personality of the towns are changing. The town that is nearest to me now has skittle heads (people that dye their hair with warning colors) and ancient hippies standing on street corners with commie signs. It’s almost as if the democrat party has a plan to take over rural America.

Same everywhere. I think it’s a scam where they get tax grants for building low income housing. It dramatically lowers building costs then the buyer gets improved vacancy because they can immediately fill them with low income people getting government assistance.
They build them around good areas and set aside only a percentage of units for low income.
They did this near me years back. Built them everywhere. Before long, I noticed there was a whole new population of people shopping at my local Walmart that obviously were living in the many new complexes nearby. Purple hairs, disabled, and people who looked a little rougher around the edges. They always had kids in the carts which was kind of odd for some reason.
But what was the most odd about it was wondering what jobs these people were finding that would pay the expensive rents. There just wasn’t that much industry there to support such a large influx of renters.
While Western Pennsylvania is Red, Allegheny County – – Pittsburgh and surrounding suburbs is Blue. Moreover, the County elections department is quite corrupt.
