Their independent contractor model warrants boycotts anyway. All those delivery drivers are working for FedEx contractors and work for flat rates – no overtime. They also have no benefits – no option for healthcare or a retirement account. Many contractors offer no paid days off so the drivers work sick or lose pay.
It’s a miracle packages arrive given the turnover in drivers, their low pay, and the often terrible treatment they get from the contractors.
It’s also in order because they have flooded the top ranks with Indians to replace Americans.

This is an excellent example of how unwieldy Section 122 Tariffs are required to work. The 122 Tariffs are authorized to address a severe balance of payments deficit not a trade deficit. In fact, a trade deficit does not give President Trump the authority to impose 122 tariffs at all. The rub with Section 122 tariffs is they must be applied broad-based to all of our trading partners. President Trump cannot pick and choose to apply the tariffs because he negotiated a favourable trade deal. So, imports from every country are assessed the 15% tariff which threatens to blow-up our newly negotiated agreements.

The US Men’s Hockey team is composed entirely of high end PROFESSIONAL NHL Players. The NHL had already accommodated these players via game schedules.
Many of the US women’s players are College and Non-Professional. Their commitments were NOT changed and these players do not have the flexibility of the high priced NHL players. It would also be highly likely the Universities involved and NCAA would not change a thing, as well. In fact the Women’s NCAA season was not suspended during the Olympics.
Plus, the Women’s Team did not decline a later visit, which will be forthcoming. If the Team does something stupid at that time, them by all means heap all the scorn you desire on them.
