Don’t know how it is today but a long long time ago on my first rotation through WEST Germany, my wife and I had to take tests to earn an international drivers license. The test for that license involved full comprehension of INTERNATIONAL Road Signs and Signals used in Western Europe as well as some basic understanding of GERMAN and French in order to read some of the road signs.
Fast forward to 1986-1990, while living as an EXPAT in Turkey, I had to do the same thing all over to earn an International Drivers license to drive in Turkey and that included some basic understanding of Turkish and French. Even our corporate agent in Turkey required I be accompanied by a member of his staff when driving during my first 6 weeks in country.
This is an utter disregard for the safety of all RESIDENTS in the US who use or are near the roads and highways …. to make an illegal political statement.

I’ve been pushing for the International Driver’s licenses. Make sure they do NOT go on voter rolls since they are non-citizens.
Records of licenses issued would also yield numbers on non-citizens in residence. Deduct the number per state from their population totals used to apportion House representative seats.
Make sure these licenses can not be used as ID for funding intended for American citizens.

My concern is not so much that the driver’s native language is Spanish, but that he shows the ability to read and understand all signs. He can understand shipment instructions written in English. This is certainly not too much to ask.
Most Spanish-speakers that I know are bilingual. Unfortunately, my mother’s “language gene” is recessive. (Very frustrating for me.)

Don’t cross off the IEEPA because there are tools that are specifically NAMED that match requirements of the IEEPA that the President can legally use even in the face of this ruling. The Supreme Court only stated, based on some nebulous logic, that the term “regulated” as used in the IEEPA does not include Tariffs.
There are very specific terms such as licenses, and specific actions such as stopping or denying that can be used.
Plus, the court did not state that the IEEPA was incorrectly applied by the President.
And it would be a trivial “Act of Congress” to clean up the misunderstood verbiage.
The original intent of the Act was perfectly clear, and reasonable. If we need to replace a few words, that takes a one-page revision Act.
Agree Mike but the sad fact is this is how many in the Judicial Branch and System hide their corruption … by playing games with definitions and processes.
There are allot of terms in use across our system of laws that WILL be “evaluated without full context as to their definition” in similar manner, to include in the IEEPA.
Then there is the tried and true (Especially by Justice Roberts) …. “must allow the full Judicial Process to run it’s course before XXXX Court takes up the issue”.
It would not matter if 60 votes could be found to amend the IEEPA or not … or even create a new ACT. This is one of “rise and repeat methods” that will occur as many times as needed .. whenever an issue that strikes at the core power and finances of the Puppet Masters comes before the Courts.

The court could very easily have stated, tariffs are fine, we recommend that you use another statute to authorize them in the future. Kavanaugh suggested the statutes. But no, that would be too easy.

This decision is yet another axe taken to the administrative state, although cloaked in much noise and smoke and perhaps difficult to see at the moment.
The only point where Jeff and I disagree is whether this bolsters the SCOTUS reputation to give it cover to issue the birthright citizenship and removal power decisions later this year.

Unfortunately the government allows a lot of things that make even ‘organic labeled’ products anything but – such as the ability to use chemicals on the land things will be grown in, as long as it’s done several months before planting, in spite of the fact that it remains in the soil and is taken up by the plants.

My friend that is a farmer does a lot of spraying of his fruit..carefully.
He said in an off the cuff comment one day “Organic just means they’ve used metals based sprays vs all the chemical ones, but all those metals are just as harmful on us but in different ways”.
He always said that organic is largely a scam.. he has a couple degrees in farming.
What we need to do is learn about when in the growth cycle the plant is sprayed.
Many blossoms are sprayed, which is what attracts some specific harmful bug, then whatever the plant is producing is perhaps okay from that stage on and doesn’t get sprayed again.
These are the kinds of things we’d want to eat.
Many plants are often only vulnerable and needing spraying at a very specific stage in development.
A lot of research is needed to attempt to beat what they are doing..and navigate it all.
Knew someone who had purchased a farm up in your state who was going to do Bio-dynamic farming. I remember having a load of trolls/naysayers on here hit me when I talked about the book “Survival of Civilization” which was about using rock dust to reminerlize the soils, that was many years ago, and I think even most of the naysayers then would sing a different tune now.

Think your friend has been led astray, just as many doctors are in their field. There are ways of raising crops that don’t require sprays at all, but instead use natural methods ranging from natural predator insects to sacrificial companion plants to companion plants that drive away pests to ones that mask the odors of plants being protected so that the pests don’t locate them.
There are also a well established set of methods such as regenerative agriculture that eliminates the need for most man-made substances and result in rich, fertile soil that is constantly getting better, instead of degraded ones that result in the phenomena of “farmed out” land.
In the case of fruit trees, properly screened/tested kaolin clay can be used as a spray as well to not only help protect against many pests, but help reduce moisture loss. The key with its use is proper masking to prevent inhalation (main issue being the silica it often contains causing lung issues when inhaled) – and proper washing of the fruit after harvest.

Was talking to a farmer about regenerative farming. Someone had mentioned the use of sludge. He went through very detailed as to the dangers of sludge and why he does not use it. Made me all the more careful of EVERYTHING. Nothing is safe without asking lots of questions.

When i asked about teeth whitening my dentist said to rinse with hydrogen peroxide (the label gives amount of water to mix with it). It works. Not over night, but if you keep going it works.

I brush with baking soda – use hydrogen peroxide as a rinse. One of the best ‘widgets’ I’ve ever found for oral health is a genuine Water Pik. Even after brushing and flossing, it can flush out remaining bits.
I agree with you. I just got a water pik recommended by my dentist (Waterpik Aquarius Water Flosser). I like it better than any water pik I’ve had. Right now it’s $79 on amazon, but I got it with a $20 coupon so I expect if you’re interested and watch, you might find another coupon offer.
I’ve been using Dr. Bronner’s toothpaste and soaps for years. Comes in cinnamon flavor.
Seems to be mostly natural, no fluoride, and no aspartame, and my teeth don’t glow in the dark.
Am familiar with his pure castile soap – great product, especially if you don’t have any local farmers making it in. No idea on the toothpaste.

I’d like to say I’m so glad I followed my gut, which I am. But quite frankly, they never had a chance of getting that needle in my arm. That’s just who I am. Don’t know about your State but in TX, campaigns and candidates are allowed to set up within so many feet of the polling location. The polling locations even have distance markers in place.
Since State Legislative boundaries align closely to County Boundaries in TX, this incumbent only has a few polling places to visit. She just happened to be in Allen, TX on the day I voted.
The folks I encountered have always been located well outside the boundary line. Plus, there is a monitor who keeps track.

Had knee repair beginning of last year–Was scared to death they would give me some COVID Vax mess without my permission.
Three months later they said a lump in my neck was stage one Cancer. Lord had already been telling me to leave it alone in many ways. But i did take some of the steps by visiting a Chemo and a radiologist specialist. Chemo specialist was a Muslim which I thought i could handle. Lady comes in wearing a hijab. However, that was not what bothered me, it was that she was wearing a paper mask, in 2025 none the less. . On top of that if you talking to me about something serious, I want to see your face so I can evaluate your answers. I could barely see her eyes.
When I went back to ENT, he defended her use of a mask Oh well. But when he told me they wanted to do surgery involving taking out all my lymph glands on right side of my neck I was like DAMN in my thoughts. However, the kicker was another voice whispered “that’s why” Oh yeah, I believe it was the Lord & He doesn’t want me to do anything. Almost a year later, it is really not there anymore, and for being 76 I’m fine, doing 30 to 60 mins of walking on treadmill daily! *Skilled* Midwives do attend breech births successfully without cutting women open for higher profits… often having chosen as students to do internship in developing countries that don’t rely on high-tech hospitals, with Traditional Midwives for learning their breech++ birth skills.
Midwives teaching doctors who want to learn breech skills also occurs infrequently. Few major hospitals allow that level of skill to be practiced within its confines.
‘The execution’:
“surgeon’s choice” is ultimately the risk-game every MotherBaby has to play when hiring an obstetric surgeon to attend any birth inside a hospital – whether she has any risk factors or not.

Due to the housing shortage, the couple were staying at their holiday park bungalow.
However, they were set to be evicted and were hit with a 30,000€ fine by the municipality for overstaying the legal 6 month holiday home occupation limit.

Their bodies were found Tuesday afternoon (Feb 17) — one in a pond on the park, one at the edge. Police quickly ruled out foul play after checking the home. Authorities and regional media (NOS, L1 Nieuws, De Limburger) are treating it as suspected self-inflicted deaths.
