The New York Times Thinks That American Taxpayers Are Obligated To Solve The Personal Problems Of Everyone In The World
The U.S. aid cuts in Afghanistan were as sudden as they were brutal. Even after the U.S. withdrawal and the end of the war in 2021, the United States continued pouring money into Afghanistan. From the 2021 Taliban takeover until last year, Washington had provided nearly $1 billion annually — over a third of all aid flowing into one of the world’s poorest countries.
The [U.S. Agency for International Development’s] programs once helped clear landscapes scarred by war and mines, diversify crops and keep millions from hunger. Four million children are now at risk of dying from malnutrition, according to the World Food Program, the most in a quarter-century.
And it’s not just food but health centers:
Nearly 450 health centers closed because of the cuts, including a tiny white building in the drought-stricken village of Nalej, where Malika Ghullami safely gave birth to two children in past years and was pregnant again with twins last year.

Isaac E. George, Jr., age 104, of New Castle, passed away the morning of Feb. 10, 2026, at North View Estates, in Ellwood City.
Born Sept. 28, 1921, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Isaac E. and Katherine F. (Weinschenk) George, Sr.
On Jan. 17, 1968, he married his beloved wife of 48 years, the former Helen Beichner, who preceded him in death on Sept. 11, 2016.
Isaac was a graduate of Shenango High School’s first graduating class. After high school graduation, he faithfully served in the United States Army Air Corp, serving in World War II as well as Pearl Harbor. He is the last known survivor of Pearl Harbor, living in Pennsylvania. Isaac attended Geneva College. For several years, he was employed by People’s Bank, working as the Vice President.
Woodworking was one of Isaac’s most cherished hobbies. A proud Pearl Harbor survivor, devoted family man, and living piece of American history, Isaac leaves behind a legacy of courage, humility, and deep love that will continue to guide those who knew him. He was the past president of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Organization. Isaac served on the Neshannock School Board and was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his children, Thomas A. George of Duncansville, PA, Karen S. (Joseph E.) Mcllvenny, Nancy L. (Garry O.) Cushanick, and Daniel L. (Mary Ann) Broschart, all of New Castle, PA; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter, Kathleen Cooper, grandson, Thomas D. Berkely, three brothers, Paul, David, and Joseph George, three sisters, Opal Lawrence, K. Jean Kelly, and Mildred Barris.
Visitation will be held on Feb. 13th from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle
A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation, at 6:00 PM, with Pastor William Webster officiating.
Burial will be alongside his wife at Graceland Cemetery.

My thoughts on the horrific debacle in the AG Bondi hearing in Congress today.
I have come to conclusion that President Trumps’s foes in the Congress and Senate are really angry that President Trump practically taunted them to insist on declassifying and releasing the Epstein files. They thought they had President Trump this time. Instead, most of the big names involved were Dems, including Hillary’s gang. The documents contained horrific evidence of sex trafficking of minors.
President Trump was a whistleblower against Epstein, the court documents revealed. Panic from the Dems.🫨🫨
The reason they are going after Bondi is to discredit any new information that comes out and at the same time taking out critical Cabinet members. I do believe that Hilary Clinton is behind this furor because both she and Bill are front and centre in these documents. She never realized the depth of the information captured by the DoJ. This is so much her tactical style. Her minions are working overtime. We have seen this play before.
Unfortunately, for the perpetrators, the public will not be so forgiving this time. The selling of, and mutilation of, children is not anything normals folks will tolerate. It will not matter how famous or powerful you are. It does not matter what political party you belong to.
The Democrats and their RINO friends cannot afford to let their screams of cover up go. This is the only thing they have left.
I don’t know about anyone else but I am sick and tired of their games. Especially with such an important topic. Sweet innocents assaulted and tortured.

If they don’t hear something on faux media, then it didn’t happen / can’t be true. Families not already broken apart by the Covid vaccines may be pulled apart by the Epstein disclosures.
I believe that Trump made excellent senior-staff choices this time. Largely because he ignored the Deep State “assistants” who guided his choices last time.
I also expect this very-seasoned Chief Executive to remain loyal to his choices. Your staff can’t be looking over their shoulders (at you …) whenever the winds of politics blow against them. They’ve got to have the confidence to make the decisions they are tasked to make, knowing that you have their backs.
After all: the safest decision they could have made, when asked, was to tell you: “Hell, no!” But they didn’t.

I worked with a Chinese woman who had American citizenship -within past 20 years. Her husband worked at an Ivy League school in research and frequently gave speeches back in China (ie. a spy). She wasn’t overtly anti-American but would say alot how great China was versus US. I finally said if it is so great why are you here? She said better opportunities for her kids. I liked her and we got along well. But I always thought in a war she’d have shot me as the enemy in a NY second.
