213 democrats had to use a photo ID to vote no on the voter ID (SAVE) act. Beyond parody…
the little LED screen in the pic (that says “Cloud Yea”) reminds me of something thats been bothering me lately… i do NOT want others to be capable of knowing how i voted. especially given how things are trending and the persecution and authoritarianism ramps up.
is there a credible way to do that while still verifying identity?
Depends how they would seek to set up a “vote in person” on “election day” with “paper ballots”….?
There is ONLY 1-way to set up “vote in person” …. the “paper ballot” completed by a voter is never fed into a computer and has no “computer readable” marks upon it as is done today.
The “paper ballot” is deposited into a secure receptacle …. period … to be “hand counted”.
It would also be useful if the voter actually received some sort of “receipt” that could be used for any IN PERSON verification canvases done after election day.
As it stands in the US today .. the voter has NO WAY to know what is on the ballot with their name/ID, which is counted as their “vote” … nor prove how they voted.
This would also go a long way to address the fear retaliation for the voting selections made.
As it stands TODAY:
Your driver’s license is associated with the ballot handed to you by the poll workers.
Your “paper ballot” has a BAR CODE printed upon it with your ID and VOTE selections.
Your “paper ballot” is fed into a computer that reads the “Bar Code” to record your vote.
NOBODY manning the poll location, including the voter, knows how the computer interpreted the BAR CODE on the ballot nor where the computer is linked. The only checks made are tally counts and include NO CONTENT Checks.
The votes are counted digitally after the polls close .. then adjusted accordingly as MORE BALLOTS are digitally ADDED after the polls close.
They admit here how completely dependent upon government they are- now can we see why the cost of government is what it is?

The name on your birth certificate is the name you were given when you were born…and it is listed that way on your marriage license, which you then take to the DMV to get an updated driver’s license, if you are going to take your husband’s name!
Same process to apply for a passport in your married name. Taking any combinations of those to your county office when you register to vote will clearly prove WHO you are and if you are eligible to vote! If you can’t figure that out, then you should be disqualified, just for being dumb, IMHO!
The only time I am aware of when a birth certificate is changed is after a legal adoption, though the “trans” radicals may have changed that in the most insane states.

The Commonwealth of Maryland refused to send me a copy (two tries) of my divorce due to their utter incompetence, and if I didn’t have a passport in my maiden name there would be no RealID for me. I had my birth certificate, my DD Form 214, which I informed them the name would never have been legally changed in the US Air Force on discharge if I hadn’t had a divorce decree to show them at the time of name change. Same for Social Security card it never seemed to be a problem. It made no difference to them. A passport I had obtained, while single, in between husband’s, was accepted. They never seemed to have a problem with my name changes when it came to withholding income tax through the years. The states have MADE it a problem at this late date.

I agree that individuals should be able to vote in secret, but it is imperative that we know how our Senators and Representatives in “congress” vote on various issues…
but these are elected officials. they represent us. Why would they want to hide who they are when they vote for important law?
and at the same time, election votes should also be able to verify with perfection, who voted and for whom.
I understand that you may want to conceal who you are and who you voted for. A legitimate concern. But there really is no possible way to do that AND have a verification method to eliminate fraud. And that IS the issue at the moment as demonstrated in the election fraud.

Some states are a lost cause anyway regardless of requiring photo ID due their statewide “Vote by Mail” fraud. It calls for you. I am just reminding everyone to never be afraid of this supernatural connection that you were given, by love, with grace. We do not earn it, we definitely do not deserve it. But we must respect it for what it really is.

And how many were given SSNs so they could get government bennies? Grrr

I think a big part of the problem is that a large number of attorneys in the middle and lower levels are playing for the other team. They may well get proper directives from the top but then slow walk and obstruct everything.

Possibly, but from previous ‘operations’ the Trump Team seems to move with deliberate intent, having gamed through possible scenarios, regarding DS tactics, assets and partners. If the act of recovering the ballots simply allowed the DS the opportunity to create a trigger to dismiss any findings by the DOJ, I think TT will have identified this tactic and provided a number of alternative, less visible, proofs. It’s entirely possible that the FBI letter, essentially tipping off Fulton County officials, was itself one of these ‘proofs’.
Personally, I think Fulton is just part of a far wider investigation of voter fraud that was initiated early on in the new Administration’s life and which has driven a number of inter-related, and seemingly unconnected, events throughout its first year.

I do support certain narrow but obvious situations where gun owners do not have the right to firearms if they are deemed to have serious mental health issues. No Democrat will ever be convicted their no matter how guilty, no Republican will ever be exonerated their no matter how innocent. Any political trial should have to be moved out of the DC Beltway area including Northern Virginia and Southern Maryland. Congress should pass a change of venue law for all political trials to be moved out of DC while they have the majority, but they won’t.

I haven’t read the SAVE act as it’s being passed. But if it doesn’t contain remedies for not being carried out properly, then it’s nearly worthless. If there is an “or else” clause that includes, “results certified without these preconditions being met are illegally certified and will not be accepted” then all good. And even if it did, we know the Democrats will make a show of their sham elections and demand they be accepted as legitimate.
This is most likely a stall tactic to buy time to enable Kelly to file for a presidential candidacy, which would give him immunity from prosecution.

Kinsella was appointed to replace John Sarcone III, whose tenure a judge determined “was and is unlawful” because the Justice Department maneuvered to keep him in the role after federal judges declined to extend his term, in violation of statutory procedure. He had no prosecutorial experience before Trump tapped him for U.S. attorney.
Federal courts across the country have rejected Trump’s efforts to keep his preferred prosecutors atop U.S. attorneys’ offices.

WTH?! A Federal Judge is stepping in on a matter WELL OUTSIDE OF HIS JURISDICTION as Hegseth moves to demote Senator Kelly for his violation of the UCMJ. Federal judge. Not military judge. The military has its own justice system. There’s a REASON for that. Senator Kelly is being punished as a military officer not as a senator or as a civilian.
Impeaching judges for overtly stupid things needs to start happening and I feel like it will start happening pretty soon.

The rest of them are willing to shut down TSA, the Coast Guard, FEMA and other parts of DHS just to score points over ICE and the Border Patrol, which are already funded and won’t be shut down.
Not sure how much of all those other parts of DHS will grind to a halt tomorrow, but would have to assume shutting down TSA could mean airports may not be able to operate. If that is the case, then does that mean even though airlines will be ready to fly passengers, can any of them get through the gates to board and go on their flights? No one in the press seems to be asking that or any other questions about what the effects of such a partial shutdown might be. I assume that is because any negative effects and resulting public pressure will be on the Democrats while most of the press want the pressure to be on the Republicans to give in on the Democrat’s ridiculous demands?

I think whoever wrote the headline at Zerohedge grossly overstated what Microsoft AI CEO Suleyman was actually saying in the article below the headline. At the same time, I think Suleyman also overestimates what will actually happen with with most jobs and job functions due to AI.
Twelve – 18 months is faster than Ii would have expected. But when you check what most white collar jobs do, I think that’s where we’re headed. One of the main white-collar things is: tell someone to do something, then check whether they’ve done ir and how well they’ve done it.
Another one is: assemble a bunch of data and summarize it well enough so the next level of management up can make decisions based on it.
Still another one is: make those decisions.
I think it’s coming pretty fast.
I’m not a partisan in the Middle-east Wars. I do continue to notice that we are throwing our military weight around there, similar to the last several decades. And just as I did years ago, I wonder why we are doing this.
