Trump has stood by and watched Perfect murder Good for 8 years – maybe longer. He’s not gonna do it. He’s going to deliver the best outcome possible, and he’s not waiting for us to feel relaxed about it.
Best presidency ever! Just hang on. More winning is coming, but a lot of people are going to scream that it’s all over at EVERY turn.
The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 21 of the 2nd year of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

The transportation department should be providing grants to help veterans and other American citizens get their CDLs.
Truck driving is a great opportunity for vets transitioning to civilian life. In less than a month they can get a high paying job to get established . Then later, once established, they can still use their GI bill to get a degree or a trade if they wish.
A loss of this many truckers will surely have a large negative economic impact. But the amount the transportation dept has allocated to assist those wanting to get a CDL is teeny tiny proving our reps are not serious about resolving this issue.
I listen to the road reports in Chicagoland…there was a big rig wreck over the weekend….not sure if they are not reporting them, but it seems there are fewer now? For a while, along I-80 alone, there was at least one a week.
Just drive in Chicago and you’ll encounter lawless drivers in no time at all, truck or car, it’s a deadly weapon in the hands of those who can’t speak English and read the signs, or are high and don’t care. People smoking weed while on the road everywhere, everyday.
Chicago has always had dangerous drives. One road was always 70 mph bumper to bumper traffic. If you tried for ‘safe traveling distance, it immediately disappeared as someone cut in.
Though anytime I tried the toll roads it was always 0 mph bumper to bumper at the toll booths.

I thoroughly enjoyed the celebration of good, clean American voices -Charlie’s legacy of God Family Country- instead of the demonic displays that Superbowl *sponsors* pass off as ‘entertainment’ these days.
Last year, the Superbowl halftime show was a transgender last supper parody and terrified children with syringes dancing around their beds, and nobody batted an eye. This year, I hear their “show” was a cartel-themed jungle boogie free-for-all with twerking bimbos and prancing pimps.
The Olympic committee is insulting to Americans as well. Shame on those athletes who amplify the voices who would sooner remove freedom and liberty and allow men to take over women’s sports.

Seemed like the All-American Halftime show was a success this year and they may do it again next year.

I feel the same. Never cared about or watched any of the stuff you mentioned in my life. Grammy’s and Oscars are celebrities congratulating themselves. Not interesting. As for music I grew up in the Rock heyday but it sucks today. I pretty much listen to blues music that features a lot of small independent artists. I am a life long Packer fan so the only way I watch a Superbowl (not happening anytime soon and I am already 70) is if they are in it, and I would miss any pregame, halftime and post game shows. Again just not interesting.
Mostly this is the left trying to push their culture down our throats. The networks, network news and sports programs are all the same people. I just live my life, ignore what I can, don’t get to upset about what I can’t, work and vote for what I see as the best policies and hope for the best outcomes.

It seems that children are programming computers now too. The newer they get the more primary they seem. Windows 7 was awesome. That article mentions a tie to that guy that ran the “covid” test-making lab in Reedly, CA. It never states the evidence of such an assumed connection. Inconclusive reporting.

I watched the TPUSA alternate super bowl halftime show live, then after the game went back and replayed the actual halftime show. Except for a short token appearance by Lady Gaga for “filler” not a single white person was on the field during the show. Not a word of English was spoken during the Bad Bunny performances. Simulate sex acts/mounting and crotch grabs were in abundance during the dances. Flags from 15 or so countries proudly hoisted at the end with Old Glory just one in the crowd. Last evening the NFL achieved its goal of giving the ultimate middle finger to the American fan base who made it the trillion dollar enterprise it is. What has it meant to me? First, it’s a source of knowledge where facts hidden by media are brought out. Then, differing viewpoints by readers are shared without the typical return rants most other sites have: its a unique community. Finally I often use information here to send to others to help in there education of how things are, not as how others portray them to be.

I have never heard of kumquat pie so I had to look it up. Sounds good — I’ll have to track one down someday. I have pretty much never met a pie I didn’t like.
Just a pie tip, I suggest using a recipe that includes cream cheese: mist don’t. Without it Kumquat pie has a hard time holding shape in the frig. With cream cheese it holds well and is like key lime pie with a creamsicle flavor. Also, you need to increase the Kumquat puree by 50% for taste to counter the cream cheese. Enjoy.

A person there said it was just a place where they pressed grapes and that 41 wineries operated there.

Not all wineries are equipped to do production. So, a “grape pressing plant” can be legitimate. But the mailing address of the establishment would not be there also. There should be some physical location where bottles are stored, e.g. for aging, and some retail establishment until all of their products are sold in grocery stores.
Nevertheless – I’m pretty sure that this “winery” truly does not exist at all. For one thing, that’s far(!) too much money for “a winery” to be bringing in.
Not all winemakers have the money to grow their own grapes so they buy them from different grape growers to make their own wine. But apparently Ilhan isn’t licensed at that location.
It is an interesting point that alcohol is forbidden and sinful to Islam, yet here they are in the wine business. Their label, if they have a bottle to put a label on, could be “Forbidden Fruit”or “Hidden Gems”or “Washed Clean”.

Broke Bureaucracies: America’s 5 largest U.S. cities don’t have enough money to pay bills: report
The five largest cities in the United States, all led by Democrats, did not have enough money to pay their bills in 2024, according to a new Truth in Accounting report first provided to The Center Square.
It’s Financial State of the Cities 2026 report examines the fiscal health of the cities of Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York City, with New York City again leading the U.S. with the greatest taxpayer burden.
The analysis is based on the most recent audited Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports from fiscal year 2024. It assesses the amount of money city governments need to pay their bills, dividing this number by the estimated number of city taxpayers. The difference is the taxpayer burden, or what every taxpayer owes in order to pay off the city’s debt, TIA explains.
According to the data, New York City residents have the highest taxpayer burden of $61,700, followed by Chicagoans’ $42,600, Philadelphians’ $17,000, Houstonians’ $4,800 and Los Angeles residents’ $1,300.
Each city’s financial reports are different and not apple-to-apple comparisons.
“Because of varying state laws, cities operate under complex and varied governmental structures, making comparisons difficult and reducing transparency,” TIA say. “For example, New York City includes its school district in its financial reports, while Chicago Public Schools are reported separately. If Chicago and the public school system were combined, it would significantly change Chicago’s reported numbers. These structural differences can obscure what is included in city financial reporting, making it harder, if not impossible, for voters to assess city financial performance when voting.”
TIA has historically issued reports evaluating the top 75 most populous cities every year. This year, the report focuses on the top five cities because “prior analysis found that the five largest cities accounted for over 80 percent of total city debt,” it explains.
At the end of fiscal 2024, all five cities didn’t have enough money to pay their bills despite having balanced budget requirements. In order “to claim their budgets were balanced, as is required by law in the five cities, elected officials” didn’t include “the full cost of government in their budget calculations and shifted costs onto future taxpayers,” TIA said.
Combined, the five cities had $144 billion in assets; their combined debt, including unfunded pension and other post-employment benefits (OPEB), totaled $384 billion. Their combined shortfall was $240 billion, according to the analysis. This included $92 billion in pension debt and $112 billion in OPEB, mainly retiree health care, debt.

Thank you for all the pictures you post! They do indeed distract from the chaos and stress we talk about each day on CTH. So many are similar to places I have been or lived in over the years and evoke memories of more peaceful times in my life with loved ones. This one surely does. Beaches and mountains are my go to places for escaping into a world of nature and calmness for me. I feel like I could step right through the picture and onto that sand, toes in the water. Sigh.
I would miss not seeing these you so generously share here.

As expected, “The Federalist” called a Spanish-language halftime show “a humiliation” and a rejection of things “American.”
But – waitaminit – Puerto Rico is American territory. Everyone who lives there sends their mail through a United States Post Office, and they are issued United States passports. It just so happens that, because of their rich island heritage, they choose to mostly speak Spanish there. (English is taught in every school, for the times when you want to go to “the mainland.” Pretty much everyone is bilingual.)
I spent about a year doing a project in Puerto Rico, and alas, I found that my mother’s language-genes were recessive. I could order a pizza and beer, and ask for directions to the baño, but that’s about it. But it is a magnificent place with a culture all its own. If this performer wanted to present his songs in Spanish, that’s his call to make. He’s still: American. The culture of America is bigger than what some people think, and may it always be thus. He gave a great and original performance.

“The Federalist” states correctly that Congress can “rein in rogue judges.” But the article does not go far enough. The powers of Congress are much greater than this author asserts.
The Constitution created, in Article 3, only one Court. It then said that Congress must create the entire subordinate Judicial system – which the first Congress did, with the so-called “Judiciary Act.” Congress has created other Courts since that time. But the key point is that Congress created everything. And, Congress can change the rules. It is not simply something that “the SCOTUS can ‘rule on.'” Congress made the rules in the first place. They can change anything about it with the stroke of a pen.
And, the plain-language revision is clear: Judges may only rule on the cases immediately before them, interpreting those cases subject to higher review. They cannot make “rulings” that apply to anything else. They cannot tell Congress nor the President (Branches 1 & 2) what either of them “must” do. They have no legislative nor executive power.
Congress can codify these principles with a simple revision to the law that it originally made. And this badly needs to be done. And the SCOTUS could not tell them, “no.” Because even the SCOTUS must abide by the laws crafted by Congress as they are written: that rule-making power prevails.
