For the past week+, semi opaque stories have been circulating about Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche removing Trump’s appointed U.S. Attorney Ed Martin from official responsibility as it pertains to the ongoing DOJ Govt. Weaponization working group.
There has been a great deal of speculation regarding the rumors and inside DOJ motives therein. Why would Blanche remove Martin and what does it mean? Lots of back and forth, lots of speculation and lots of angst has followed. CTH took a wait and see approach.
Today a report surfaces from CNN that likely explains the context. Now, with CNN as the outlet, sure there’s tons of room to dismiss the story and simply label it fake news; however, as with most things in DC, while CNN would certainly put the worst possible spin on the story, there is also likely some truth within the explanation.
With the Dept of Justice being in a hypersensitive mode and need to be exceptionally careful, lest they face attacks from the quadrillion powered spotlight upon their activity by the leftist opposition, the story of Ed Martin potentially sharing grand jury information about Adam Schiff and Letitia James mortgage fraud cases does reconcile the background context of Deputy AG Todd Blanche’s move to distance Martin.
WASHINGTON DC – A Justice Department review found that Ed Martin improperly handled grand jury materials that were part of an investigation targeting Donald Trump’s political enemies, at least two sources familiar with the review told CNN. It was at least part of the reason Martin was pushed out of DOJ headquarters early this year.
The review, which was overseen by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s office, focused on whether grand jury material gathered in the department’s mortgage fraud inquiries into Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff and New York Attorney General Letitia James had been illegally shared with people not authorized to possess that information, multiple people briefed on the matter told CNN.
The department found that Martin had shared the secret grand jury material in the Schiff case, one of the sources said. The person said Martin initially denied sharing the material with unauthorized people when asked by department leaders, but emails soon surfaced showing that Martin had in fact shared the grand jury material.
A second person told CNN a finding of misconduct gave the deputy attorney general a reason to further ostracize Martin. Martin was removed as the head of the so-called Weaponization Working Group on the first day of 2026 and he was relocated out of department headquarters to a building across town that houses the pardon attorney — Martin’s one remaining role.
[…] Martin is expected to leave the department in coming weeks. […] In a statement to CNN, Blanche said, “there are no misconduct investigations into Ed Martin. Ed is doing a great job as Pardon Attorney.” (more)
I hate to say it, but the story tracks accurate.
There are two standards in DC that apply to rules. One standard that applies to the corrupt, and one standard that applies to those who would expose the corruption. The corrupt are protected, defended, justified and excused; the investigators of the corruption are under constant and unending scrutiny. The investigators cannot deviate one scintilla from absolute rule-following.
It sucks, but that is the reality of the situation. One small mistake can and will be exploited, emphasized and used to cast the entire operation into a cloud of noise to hide the fraud and corruption that permeates the U.S. body politic.
Take the loss, learn the lesson, move on.
When the handle breaks, replace it. Keep swinging the axe.

Can he possibly be tasked as a special prosecutor at a future date?
I doubt it. His leaking, the denial and subsequent email verification pretty much made him radioactive, hence his departure from the DOJ.
I agree with Bad Dog! No Biscuit!I;
Falsus in uno; Falsus in omnibus.
False in one thing; false in all things.
Integrity is something, that once tarnished, much like Dan Bongino yapping like a little puppy dog in agreement with Kash Patel about Epstein doing himself in all by himself, is gone forever.
Too bad that doesn’t apply to Blondi.
I second that notion!
When you’re fighting demons, you have to be perfect. Any transgression will be exploited.
After all the weaponization of DOJ across the past nine years, do we now expect an honest “internal investigation” of someone investigating weaponization, by that same still-weaponized DOJ?
Wake up, people. This was an orchestrated take down, executed under the color of the institution. To stop the bigger investigation of major government criminals.
When the identity of the ‘internal investigators’ is ever revealed, we will find them to be compromised partisans. People cut from the same ideological and institutional cloth that was desperately attemting to indict PDJT only two years ago on manufactured charges.
And when people start wondering a year from now what ever happened with the weaponization strike force, perhaps the dots will start connecting for some.
I am suspicious because CNN is involved. Anyone may have ‘leaked’ anything to CNN and it will be reported as FACT if it helps fog up any investigation swamp related.
Well, I do not remember hearing Ed Martin vigorously denying the accusations.
Personally, if I was accused of wrongdoing I would loudly declare;
Conare Me Errare Demonstrare.
Try To Prove Me Wrong.
Basically meaning that you cannot possibly prove me wrong.
Which is why, after all of the commercial trucks, tractors, and trailers that I for more than 15 years, I can rest assured that when I meet my maker I will Not be questioned about any wrongdoing by me.
“…do we now expect an honest “internal investigation”…”
Well, in this case the dishonest person was one of us.
Rabbit, meet hat.
He’s ‘dishonest’ because someone at the DOJ says so.
He’s dishonet because he lied.
Sometimes our side does things wrong.
When questioned, Ed Martin should not have fibbed. It really is that simple. He foolishly handed others the stick to hit him with.
But fibbed he did, and the left is going to use it as a cudgel to bloody up the entire President Trump administration.
The Never Satisfied right is going to use it to distract with Trusty Plans or palace intrigue day after day after day after day demanding attention to the matter right now or America is over or something…
while at the same time bitching that the Administration doesn’t accomplish anything.
Sundance is absolutely right, eff the weak handle. Replace it and keep splitting the wood.
Fibbing is something children do at a point in their lives where they hardly know right from wrong.
If Hillary or Obama were fibbing, like Ed Martin fibbed, we would all call it lying.
Ed Martin should not have lied, the never satisfied right and left will use it as much as they can to gain ill gotten gain, and yes, we need to go on with life and pray for our country and its leaders.
Yes! I know this will not be popular, however, perhaps that’s exactly why there’s major “slow-rolling” of the doj on ALL the issues We the People deem important and want action on. The far-left judicial activists in black robes masquerading as judges are primed to pounce on the tiniest piece of infraction.
While I still don’t trust Blanche at all, the removal makes sense. Question is what happens to the Weaponization Working group?
So you know the story about the “Pope’s exorcist”
Watched it on Blu-Ray a week or two back …
Yes, we must all learn to be ever vigilant about every word or action.
Slow down, remember to choose your words wisely and your actions should deliberated upon before execution.
And as pointed out by Sundance, it’s a two tiered system and you should not take anything for granted with these vermin.
Don’t insult wild vermin. At least they have a purpose in nature!
How can Martin be accused of disseminating ‘confidential’ information, like Letitia James real estate records? They are public information and in Virginia, anyone can download them. Many, many have. I’ve even seen them, without any ties to any government agency.I don’t know what this Blanche character thinks is confidential, but even in the publicly available real estate filings, the fraud is incredibly obvious. Schiff’s real estate records are most likely just as available, but frankly, just typing his name makes me want to wash my hands with industrial cleaners,so I’m not looking those up.
Grand Jury information is confidential even though the underlying information may be public.
Only in certain circumstances (cough, cough.)
Grand Jury testimony is not to be made public unless a Judge says so.
Those who are of the dark legions of the Uniparty are shielded and coddled by the Propaganda Parrot Media.
Any who are trying to do the right thing and assume that they are safe will be shredded by the Propaganda Parrot Media at the first slip up they make.
Technically, the records are public. Grand Jury records concerning them are not.
Your last line resonates!
Dummy. He’s in enemy territory.
Dummy. That was my first thought.
I held many different kinds of jobs over my 40 year long working lfe. Not important jobs, but my place in that workplace didn’t need to be goofed up or damaged. I learned early on there was no need (and lots of reasons not to….) triangulate and share information with “a third party”. I don’t need anybody running around saying, “Well, Sharon said…..” because I unnecessarily shared information with them.
Now I’m old, live in a small town, and attend a small church. Out of lifelong habit, I instinctively DO NOT triangulate information from one relationship over to a second relationship.
Good grief, Ed.
Triangulate = gossip?
No. Triangulate is a pragmatic reference to the simple fact of sharing information with a third person/party–regardless of motive. It’s amazing what people in an office or group think is neutral information and, therefore, it doesn’t matter who it is shared with.
The problem does not lie in “my motive” (good or bad) for sharing information. The problem lies in the failure to recognize that I have no way of knowing what that third person will do with the information.
So, suddenly, that third person tells a fourth person and all hell breaks loose – and not because the information was incorrect or because my motive was wrong in sharing with #2.
There is, very seldom, a good reason to divulge information to a third person/group: triangulation.
Obviously, that third person may be a gossip. I have no guarantee that they are not. I don’t have to worry about whether or not they are because they will never unecessarily receive information that has passed through me.
It’s not a “moral” thing, but a pragmatic thing.
💯 👍
Blanche is supposed to be the reason Tina Peters is yet imprisoned.
How can Martin be accused of disseminating ‘confidential’ information, like Letitia James real estate records? They are public information and in Virginia, anyone can download them.

Spy Agencies Turn to Newspapers, NPR, and Wikipedia for Information
The intelligence community is learning to value “open-source” information
FTA –
The officer calls it “the seduction of the ‘top-secret’ stamp.”
That’s a common refrain in the intelligence community when the subject of so-called open-source information comes…
Another anecdote involves public information—commonly newspaper reports—that is paraphrased or quoted verbatim and then stamped “classified” to make the report more appealing to superiors.
Yet it’s a practice that might be changing. The use of nonclassified information, whether news accounts or other publicly retrievable information, is gaining credibility within the intelligence community. And officials say there can be good reasons for putting some of that open-source information under the secrecy umbrella. “The information might be unclassified but our interest in it is not,” Gen. Michael Hayden, head of the CIA, told the conference.

thanks Sundance.
The thing that would be “cool” to know is if Adam Schiff and Letitia James or “dem Friends” got that info from Ed Martin.
We all know “all texts, phone stuff, and snoops … are recording and getting all this info from Leftist slime.
I know you are just giving the “cnn” version, so … will this info be grounds to end arresting and putting the bad actors in prison for LONG, LONG,LONG time. (I hope not)
First DOGE, then the incredibly necessary weaponization working group, the minimized ICE presence in Minnesota, what’s next?
I’m very anxious to hear President Trump talk about justice during his upcoming State of the Union message.
What I would like to hear at the beginning of the speech and that the DOJ has successfully cataloged all the election rigging data of 2020 including the international interference via fake ballots and internet fraud on the machines and have seated a Grand Jury to hear the evidence, and have subpoenaed all the individuals, election officials, state and county government officials and companies involved.
It would be fun to see how many of our “Elected Professional Representatives” have strokes on the spot.
POTUS hasn’t even signed rescission bills for $220 Billion in DOGE-identified waste, fraud, and abuse.
If not now, it will never happen, and we continue to fund NGOs that attack the GOP and our nation.
Todd Blanche sent two very important messages this week, nearly simultaneously, to the very same group:
1 He released the Epstein materials this week, because the President forced him to. The earlier attempt to bury it was unsuccessful. Many in the power elite may be exposed and disgraced.
2. While many of the elite criminals may be exposed and disgraced, no one is going to be prosecuted for it, at least not by this DOJ.
The system, protecting itself.
James O’Keeffe recent exposé of a FIB employee in Minnesota supports this theory. Unfortunately.
Our president shoots for the moon. He can’t hit it every time, but he gets closer because he wasn’t afraid to try. The more things you try, the more chances you’ll fail. I say “let the man work”.
I don’t care who they hire and fire. I am only keeping score and giving credit for fraud convictions (election, stealing government money), government weaponization (russia gate, spy gate, J6), immigration and Harmeets civil rights stuff.
They definitely aren’t racking up convictions.
Convictions??
How about prosecutions…
At least start making those who believe they are above the law and untouchable (which they jolly well might prove to be) have to lawyer up.
I believe having to do so can cost quite a bit.
At the very least, this.
But lot’s of investigations!
Martin had a bit of showboat in him. Regardless, his type is needed to fight dirty with the dirtier opponent.
It probably pains all of us to hear Adam Schiff, DC’s most prolific leaker, being protected from leaking on our side, but aren’t we all arguing that the corruption needs to be reined in? We can’t get there saying “your side has to quit first”. My guess is it was the lie/coverup (as usual) that got him fired.
I’m guessing Ed Martin can still be used as an “advisor / consultant” even if not officially on any org chart.
How much was he paid, and by whom, to do what he did?
Rule Number One: Follow the Money!
If you “leaked” the material, PROSECUTE.
Then, if your publication accepted and published it, having reason to know or suspect that it was privileged, PROSECUTE!!
Right now, you can go to prison for twenty … UNLESS you are Media!
Or Shelton Snook
The investigators cannot deviate one scintilla from absolute rule-following.
Sigh, another warrior sidelined.
Our side simply hasn’t realized that there is a massive disparity in accountability. J6er’s know.
This is exactly why I hate seeing the Trump Administration in front of the camera so often. A single misstep can take our player off the board and undermine the end goal.
President Trump is the exception, particularly following gaffe-tastic Biden.
We need President Trump pointing out their successes but it is risky for our investigators to do the same.
That includes cabinet members, IMO. Look at the calls already for impeachments of various cabinet members.
I’m fine with them shutting up and producing substantive results.
Irony, the Weaponization investigator was weaponized out of his job.
So was the group. Blanche apparently disbanded it without letting the President know.
So, Where is Bondi? Blanche is her subordinate. President Trump has been very quiet about this.
I mean, it’s not like he changed a date or anything. Or leaked to his personal journalist. Or paid 6 million for a fake dossier and bandied it about.
That was an inside takedown job. A basis or reason, to shut him down.
Little different from the latest bogus IG complaint levied against Tulsi Gabbard.
Todd Blanche is not MAGA.
Oldersoul,
Good points, as usual.
Come to think about it, the DOJ and the FBI aren’t MAGA.
They haven’t been since bondi and patel refused to fire the thousands and thousands of carryover, weaponizing, treasonous biden thugs.
Well, there is that “weaponizing” thread that Mr. Ed Martin was investigating.
You don’t think that Todd used some of those carryover biden thugs to entrap and frame Ed, do you?
Nah, the Trump DOJ / FBI wouldn’t do that …… nope, but the carryover biden thugs in the Trump DOJ / FBI would.
Sundance may not recall the thousands and thousands of carryover biden thugs still in the DOJ / FBI.
I’m sure our host does.
What bothers me is that it is likely that PDJT knows this as well.
And yet he lets it go on.
It’s a cancer on this Administration that could wind up undoing everything after 2028. It merely sits in self-imposed remission, waiting.
Agreed. This was an inside job. Blanche is managed not by the AG but rather by Swampy Susie – the person running Trumps DOJ. Blanche refined his scum-craft at WilmerHale, you know, Mr. Special Counsel Robert Mullers employer before and after the he tried to get Trump. The same WilmerHale that Pres. Trump issued an OE against for weaponization of the justice system and suspended security clearances. This CNN story is pure fiction. Blanche, Scammy Jo & Swampy Susie – the three-headed dog in the picture above.
“it is likely that PDJT knows this as well.”
I agree.
He has shown that he knows by his “work arounds” for bondi, patel and even COS susie.
He has been moving, piece by piece, critical legal work out of the DOJ / FBI and have been moving it to Pete in the Dept of War, to Treasury or to outside legal beagles who he trusts. Moving it out of the corrupt DC legal system and jury pool.
He is one of the best operations guys I have ever seen and there is no doubt he loves America.
He must have a good reason, to-date, for not cleaning out the small number of disloyal employees in his administration.
He is the G.O.A.T. president for knowing when “to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em” as a famous country western singer once sang.
Oldersoul, have a great MAGA DAY!
MAGA / America First isn’t just our motto, it is our duty!
Kenny Rogers – The Gambler
And Martin is dim.
Ed also had a habit of going on TV and giving sort of “confirmatory” statements about investigations after prefacing it with “I can’t say anything…”
Seems like maybe he felt like he was in a bulletproof role due to his political popularity in the MAGA base.
And as much as I sympathize with the two rulebooks system, if lied about leaking, that’s simply wrong.
I’m dealing with this in my job. A woman on the team is a pathological liar. Somebody decided to record her (100% legal in CO in work meetings), and now she’s got herself in hot water…
Truth telling is what has protected us over the years. Liars eventually implode.
Ok, but why dissolve the group?
Because it became redundant to, in conflict with and/or potentially infecting by implication the work of the So. Dist./Fla. grand jury?
Truly Sad, I liked Ed Martin. Killed because he was slaying too many dragons!
Sadly, but truthfully, if he used email, then there is a lack of discretion.
I must be losing it.
Seems I’ve heard interviews with Martin and seemed like a stand up guy?
He is. And don’t buy into the BS that Main DOJ is peddling here.
Of course, now because there is a “justification’ that they manufactured, PDJT won’t touch it. Reminds me of when they railroaded General Flynn in early Administration 1.0.
They had to get Ed Martin off the field. Todd Blanche isn’t going to prosecute anyone important. And Pam Bondi doesn’t even know where they keep the indictment forms.
So all the big criminals will now win and get away, unprosecuted.
Thank you.
Sort of wondered about him when he went to see, or so I read, James’ house. That and the fact he’s been exceptionally quiet as one in his station would not have been. Seems Sundance sees a shadow of smear so I’ll wait and see. Peace my friends.
Ed Martin does not strike me as a fool. Why would he do such a foolish act?
Why do any of us do foolish things?
Pride, greed, stupidity, or just forgetfulness. We all do foolish things.
Now do Kash Patel and Pam Bondi
Now do Merrick Garland and Jack Smith.
Ooops, that’s (D)ifferent.
There will be no serious Justice out of this Justice Department. Just cheers and applause as low hanging fruit occasionally gets plucked for an fast headline or diversion.
oldersoul ..for that VSGPDJT..will have to introduce …ML…..
Objective achieved. Hopefully, this “story” will acquire legs re dirty Schiff and James. So folks will follow up with inquiries re progress of “ongoing investigation”.
That’s too bad. He should have kept his mouth shut, and also should have known better.
What constitutes “grand jury material” is (D)ifferent depending on who you are & who/what you work for.
Of course, we aren’t allowed to know what super secret material was shared because it’s super secret so frankly it may or may not actually exist.
If it’s leaked out, it can’t be covered up and buried.
The government leaks like an old battleship. On purpose, when needed to amplify attacks on enemies.
This one was just an excuse, to take out someone attempting actual justice against their allies.
Double secret.
Obama’s corrupt Democrat Party modus operandi: downplay their endless corruption and focus the Enemedia’s quadrillion powered propaganda spotlight on the smallest peccadillo of their enemy, the American people.
Still as true today as it was six months ago. And now increasingly likely to be true as of January 19, 2029.
And if not a MAGA successor, they will be back, with a vengeance.
Welcome to Sessions & Barr, the Next Generation.
This is where Democrats say, “There are problems on both sides,” to smear their corruption responsibility around.
Making sure there’s plenty of honey in the the honey in honeypot.
Add Minnesota Learing Center et al frauds.
All of what you list here is true Oldersoul.
That’s why in my opinion the “arc de Trump”, gilding and all, is premature.
Lipstick on a pig?
No not President Trump but the restoration of the Republic which is still in mortal danger.
Outside of impressive accomplishments toward US dominance in economic fields, the sovereign US is as vulnerable as ever to the takedown by bad governance and fraud from within and manipulation of elections from a globalist perspective.
Justice delayed is justice denied. We have not seen justice.
And we will never get any arrests because there is no rule of Law in the USA.
Wow – that really puts things in perspective.
Unfortunately it’s looking more and more like Trump is more interested in being “liked” than doing what is necessary. Many of his most stalwart voters are disappointed and have lost faith in him. MAGA is losing. Trump has his enemy by the throat and refuses to dispatch him. That makes him his own worst enemy and a failed leader for us. I would rather have eggs at 10 dollars and gasoline at twenty then my national lost to the vicious left … who will come for us after the midterms. Trump is gonna find out how much he is liked then.
Ed Martin attended law school at the Saint Louis University School of Law – ranked academically as #97th law school on America.
The bigger picture: POTUS’ weak DOJ.
When will the Trump Whitehouse have a ‘come to Jesus’ moment over their weak DOJ?
(Harmeet Dhillon, from a top law school – has kicked butt, purged Liberal lawyers, and protected the civil rights of all Americans, including Christians and European Americans. She’s one bright spot.)
And Andrew Weissmann and Barack Obama went to the top Ivy League law schools. “57 State” Barack was even Editor of the Harvard Law Review.
So what’s your point? That only Ivy League lawyers are good prosecutors?
Clarence Darrow didn’t even graduate law school.
Don’t be a snob.
Our DOJ of lightweight attorneys are batting .000.
Harmeet Dhillon is not your friend.
Whose friend is she?
She booted dozens or possibly hundreds of Liberal career attorneys quickly after taking over the Civil Rights Division.
Secondly, she started suing anti-Vhristian, anti-European groups, laws, and / or programs.
The Proof is in the pudding. ^^^
You make good points about Harmeet. I was a little worried at first.
My absolute favorite is the one word answer she gave Lemon when he told Bondi et al to come and get it, and Harmeet responded “OK.”
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Just like some folks walk the talk.
I give little credence to rankings in Universities. Judges are supposed to be Lawyers too yet they make up their own Laws frequently.
“A judge is a law student who marks his own examination papers”. H.L. Mencken “A Little Book in C Major” 1916
The real estate attorney from Florida ended her term quickly, and Bondi is MIA. Bondi had the utter stupidity to think a few hundred pages were the “Epstein Files”!
Now Ed Martin implodes.
Dhillon went to a top law school, gas been a prominent attorney, and is holding her own.
Sundance was bent that she read a Sikh prayer at the GOP convention. Doesn’t bother me. 99% of the Sikhs I’ve met are fantastic, with wonderful dispositions.
Sticky Nikki Haley is a Sikh.
Hear, Hear.
Slightly better than Martin “The Double Perjurer” Cohen who attended Wayne State U. Law, considered to be the worst law school in the U.S.
Thank you Sundance
Next man up. Sorry Eagle Ed… I was counting on you.
Rule # 1 concerning the leaking of grand jury information.
The leaking of grand jury information is prohibited unless the grand jury information leaked involves President TRUMP.
Been alot of this. It does get tiresome.
Take the loss, learn the lesson, move on.
I find it odd how sometimes people believe these articles and they don’t believe others. The Times put out a hit piece on Tulsi. Not saying this is a hit piece by CNN, but do you think maybe Martin will be leaving because he will be put on something more important like election integrity? And, the mishandling of information has no real source. It might as well just be a hit piece.
I am still thinking we have not heard the rest of the story.
There are uncorruptible people… very very few of them. And then there is everyone else. If you have no personal vulnerabilities and have no worry about money? MAYBE you are uncorruptible. If not, you ARE corruptible. It’s only a matter of circumstances which can determine if you actually become corrupted. The founding fathers in their writings once highlighted that corruption is a problem of opportunity and circumstance and not as much a problem of character.
So was he corrupted? Was he framed to appear corrupted? I don’t think we can know.
Many people who are corrupted actually believe they are righteous and/or entitled in some way. Texas politics is riddled with people like this. It’s a crazy and nuanced thing, this whole “corruption” thing.
I still remember General Flynn. Before I learned to hate VP Pence, we believed what we were told — that Flynn lied to Pence and that was that.
We should continue to wait and see.
Why the Hell is a registered Democrat in the deputy AG position to begin with ?
Bondi & Wiles.
“The corrupt are protected, defended, justified and excused; the investigators of the corruption are under constant and unending scrutiny.” Sad but true.
OK, so replace him. Why dissolve the Working Group in its entirety?
Doesn’t look like the leaked information made it to the public’s domain. Wonder if he talked to the wrong person during his investigation and said something he wasn’t supposed to. That’s all I got unless someone can tell me what was leaked.
Explanation received. Nevertheless, the prosecution on all the corrupt despicable leeches is not moving the needle. Nothing is getting done. If nothing happens by the midterms, it’s essentially over.
Either last night or the night before Josh Reid on his podcast said he thought Ed Martin would be taking a position in the White House.
If this is true and Josh caught wind of it then it is likely that CNN may also have caught wind of it.
This story could be an attempt to try to discredit Martin before his new appointment is announced.
And if it is true that Martin is going to work in the White House, how did Josh and CNN find out about it?
0.o
Susie?
Here’s a hopeful thought: Ed Martin replacing Susie Wiles!
Not buying it. If Martin illegally shared grand jury information, than charge him. How extensive was the investigation into Martin? We’ll never know the answer to that question, because Martin will never be charged. If he were charged, than he would almost certainly be convicted and sentenced to prison. So he has a strong incentive to go away quietly. This reeks of lawfare.
Painful to see this for sure. Martin was superb and is superb. I do wonder whether Blanche helped make this happen faster . I still want Blanche out of Trump legal team and I pray acts soon on this.
Can I swing the axe 🪓 at specific targets 🎯 who are undermining our Republic!?
I’ll pay extra to replace the handle!
And I’d help pay the extra to keep the axe honed and sharpened!!
Too bad… we just lost a good one in Ed Martin.
The fat lady has not yet sung . . . whomever she may be, bless her little heart.
Neither here nor there, except for PR purposes, but shouldn’t this group have been named “the anti-weaponization working group” in the first place?
Martin always talked a big game. But his strike rate was zero. Ironically he will probably be charged and jailed now. Either way, after a year he was unable to bring a single charge.
Having wasted a year, I think it’s safe to conclude that it is now extremely unlikely anyone will be indicted. I sincerely hope I am wrong, but the routine betrayal of the President and his MAGA base by the RINO in Congress is becoming clearer and clearer.
The RINO are seeding the ground to lose the mid terms badly so Trump can be stopped in 9 months and impeached in 12 months. The RINO aren’t going to be scared of Trump soon given his age and inability to run for office again. Thune and Johnston will start to publicly railroad Trump as the mid terms approach.
There ain’t gonna be any voter id laws passed. The Dems will win the mid terms big, the border will be flung back open so that Dems can trash Trumps success on illegal immigration. The RINO look like they fully intend to let the Democrats led Uniparty destroy the USA.
The next Democrat led Congress will make Spanberg look like slow and timid.

Concern Troll
Nice rosy picture you have painted, Eeyore.
Can anyone name anything serious that Ed Martin has done in his 9 months at DOJ???? I Can’t…Is it really a loss??? Lindsey Halligan did more in 2 weeks (by indicting Comey) then Martin in 9 months….If I remember correctly I think Emerald Robinson said he had like 1 or 2 assistants working for him….. If so, that’s not serious…..
His X posts made me think that he was as much enamored by the celebrity of his role as he was about doing the job. Sadly I am not surprised that this has turned out the way it seems to have.
One Question;
Did Ed Martin actually accomplish anything significant (did he take any scalps) while he was head of the DoJ Government Weaponization Working Group?
He was only doing what democrats do all the time!
This says it all,” investigation targeting Donald Trump’s political enemies”. And this was said, “while CNN would certainly put the worst possible spin on the story, there is also likely some truth within the explanation.”
