When Israel entered Rafah City in May 2024, against the will of the U.S., the Biden Administration imposed an embargo on both heavy one-ton bombs (MK-84) and D-9 bulldozers.
Both of these are tools used to destroy structures and neutralize explosives and booby-trapped buildings. When Israel didn’t have enough D-9s to open pathways and neutralize explosives, and didn’t have enough heavy bombs to destroy booby-trapped buildings, the IDF paid a heavy price in soldiers’ lives due to explosives.
Not every casualty caused by explosives was a direct result of the embargo, but some were. For an order of magnitude: from the renewal of fighting in March 2024 until the ceasefire in October, 61 soldiers died — 38 of them as a result of explosives, more than 60%.

Note: The IDF without the limitation of hostages would be a completely different story. I still can’t assign any logic to why they gave up the hostages — to me it is a miracle. But I predict an attempt by Hamas, with Qatar and Turkey, to manipulate and conduct a “fake disarmament.” I am already hearing about their push to integrate tens of thousands of Hamas police into the upcoming administration. I am sure Israel will oppose this.
~A report states that Trump is attempting the negotiation option before an attack on Iran. However, the demands are maximal: no nukes and removal of nuclear material from Iran, no long-range ballistic missiles, and no support for proxies.
Iran’s Foreign Minister said: “The U.S. demands to give up enriched uranium and commit to zero enrichment are not realistic, and the demands regarding our missile production and support for proxies are non-negotiable.”
Note: The regime are masters of deception and negotiation. I think Trump knows this by now. Not sure about Witkoff.

Otto began his career as a salesman but had a keen interest in science and technology. In 1861, he built his first four-stroke engine, and later partnered with Eugen Langen to establish NA Otto & Cie, the world’s first company focused on internal combustion engines.
In 1876, Otto developed the four-stroke, compressed charge engine, known as the Otto Silent Engine. This engine operated on a four-stroke cycle, which became known as the Otto cycle. COMMENTARY FOR 1 JOHN 4
Believers cautioned against giving heed to every one that pretends to the Spirit. (1-6) Brotherly love enforced. (7-21)
7-13 The Spirit of God is the Spirit of love. He that does not love the image of God in his people, has no saving knowledge of God. For it is God’s nature to be kind, and to give happiness. The law of God is love; and all would have been perfectly happy, had all obeyed it. The provision of the gospel, for the forgiveness of sin, and the salvation of sinners, consistently with God’s glory and justice, shows that God is love. Mystery and darkness rest upon many things yet. God has so shown himself to be love, that we cannot come short of eternal happiness, unless through unbelief and impenitence, although strict justice would condemn us to hopeless misery, because we break our Creator’s laws. None of our words or thoughts can do justice to the free, astonishing love of a holy God towards sinners, who could not profit or harm him, whom he might justly crush in a moment, and whose deserving of his vengeance was shown in the method by which they were saved, though he could by his almighty Word have created other worlds, with more perfect beings, if he had seen fit. Search we the whole universe for love in its most glorious displays? It is to be found in the person and the cross of Christ. Does love exist between God and sinners? Here was the origin, not that we loved God, but that he freely loved us. His love could not be designed to be fruitless upon us, and when its proper end and issue are gained and produced, it may be said to be perfected. So faith is perfected by its works. Thus it will appear that God dwells in us by his new-creating Spirit. A loving Christian is a perfect Christian; set him to any good duty, and he is perfect to it, he is expert at it. Love oils the wheels of his affections, and sets him on that which is helpful to his brethren. A man that goes about a business with ill will, always does it badly. That God dwells in us and we in him, were words too high for mortals to use, had not God put them before us. But how may it be known whether the testimony to this does proceed from the Holy Ghost? Those who are truly persuaded that they are the sons of God, cannot but call him Abba, Father. From love to him, they hate sin, and whatever disagrees with his will, and they have a sound and hearty desire to do his will. Such testimony is the testimony of the Holy Ghost.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. I went to the rt hand 3 bar then found “settings” and just followed instructions. As soon as I did that Start page connected with the ‘Tube and choose music. I still use Avast Premium which apparently does a good job of dealing with the “Norton malware” trick. Watch this space. 🙂

I want to listen to Mark Halperin’s 2 Way podcast but for some reason, I become disinterested and then bored.
His topics are timely, his voice is moderate and yet I just can’t listen with the same enthusiasm as Viva or Barnes, Hunley and Groubert.
Maybe I just don’t like Mark Halperin although I don’t know why?
