Panic in Germany as chemicals giant crashes into administration – 585 jobs at risk
Insolvency talks at a German chemical plant have put nearly 600 jobs at risk. DOMO Chemicals has informed its sites in the country that they can continue operating at a minimal level as discussions take place over the company’s future.
The company currently has two production sites in Leuna and Premnitz and one sales office in Freiburg. The Leuna site has been in operation for more than 100 years, producing fertilisers and other products based on ammonium sulfate. DOMO produces more than 1,000 tons of this by-product of caprolactam synthesis every day, according to its website.

No more successful than it was in the USSR, which was abandoned by its people now quite a long time ago. The Chinese tried it, tried to do all the right things, and once again it didn’t work. Communism is an intrinsically failed social strategy that looks very good on paper.
Communism will be deposed, and replaced by a new form of government that is “uniquely Chinese.” But, it’s not going to be a peaceful nor stable process. The Communists will fight back hard, before they lose.

I’m reading a very interesting book about Mau and how he brought communism to China.
Wild Swans by Jung Chang. Her parents were prominent leaders in the revolution and Chang was a teenaged Red Guard. They thought they were getting democracy!
The story begins in 1909. In 1965 the Cultural Revolution begins and Mao is destroying his early supporters who now realize they’ve been duped.
It is difficult to read the atrocities suffered by the Chinese citizens who fought for change they believed would bring a fair and representative government to the people only to be betrayed by their beloved, and revered Mao.
I’m seeing quite a few parallels in the rabid leftists in our Country, today.

As just a regular citizen and not being extremely knowledgeable about the laws relative to federal arrests, my thought from the beginning was to go ahead and federal law enforcement to the situation to make immediate arrests of rock/frozen bottle throwers, road blockers, anyone breaching the zone that is safe for ICE to operate. I have not seen that happening back to the beginning of the deportation actions. ICE has been and continues to be sitting ducks.
I also don’t understand why people arrested are not taken to federal jails under federal custody.
I don’t understand how a federal judge in Minnesota with possible ties to pro-immigration groups can override clear law-breaking and ignore the actual laws passed by Congress. And also specify what specific crowd control actions can be utilized. Where does that alleged power come from?
I think once someone/anyone in the crowd throws objects, sets off fireworks, etc, that the whole crowd gets arrested in mass as accomplices to a crime.

I had a thought recently that I think simplifies things… I’m starting to favor this view of the whole greater Presidency.
We keep looking at these events as “The insurrentions/domestic terrorists/Communist & Anarachist are trying to usurp the law and government and control everything”.
What I think actually makes more sense, is the reverse. The Communists, et al. are the ones who are actually IN POWER – functionally 100% in the US Government (Regardless of elections), and it is President Trump and some of his cabinet that are actually the functional “usurpers” (though Constitutionally, of course) who have had so much success they command formal positions in their government.
Think about it this way: would the Commies rather have control of random/disgusting/worthless Minneapolis streets, or the power of the Presidency? Hmm.
Once I started to think about us as the resistance in this context, versus them as the resistance in this context.. everything starts making a lot more sense. To me, at least anyway.

An obviously stupid man who died a stupid death. His father knew him well when he advised him recently to not “do anything stupid.” He was engaged in a hero fantasy game and managed to get man-handled a week prior and break a rib in an encounter he initiated with federal agents. He went back for more (loaded for bear) and he got what he either wanted or was too dumb to forsee. Imagine if that was someone you knew or were related to-when thinking of his death you’d say to yourself “he was an idiot” -though I know some will build a false heroic story around him if for no other reason than their own psychological protection.
If this man had not brought a firearm to this confrontation – especially not one with dangerous defects – then the fundamental conditions that resulted in his death would not have occurred. He created the situation that he could not get himself out of, and he must therefore bear the primary responsibility. Federal Officers do not have phones and the ability to “stop the action and review the tapes.” This is not a football game.
If he had legally carried which he did not and minded his own damned business he would still be alive.

So I suspect that a determinative factor in all of this will be the insurgents’ car horns and whistles impeding the clarity of communication in the midst of a violent struggle that Pretti precipitated and made deadly as he reached in the direction of his holster.
They wanted to impede communication, and it appears that they succeeded. So why pity them? Where is such a well-orchestrated insurgency to impede the warrant squads in Minneapolis that arrest American citizens for violent crimes?
I’ve gotten quite a bit of pushback from Catholics questioning my faith and spirituality in the midst of this. So let me save people from further inquiry. Many of the criminal illegals being sought are involved with cartels sex-trafficking girls and women. I spent seven years working with teen girls running away from prostitution at Covenant House in Times Square during the 1980’s. I’ve buried three Boy Scouts who died from the poison these bastards are importing and distributing.
The criminals being sought by ICE are vermin. Rapists, murderers, traffickers, pushers. How could anyone in their right mind oppose the arrest and deportation of these people? Yeah, I hope they find Jesus in prison, but I elected Trump to see to the arrest and deportation part. There are plenty of prison chaplains around the world to do the rest.
If you’ve never sat with a kid hollowed out by prostitution, tried to help a kid get clean and stay clean, perhaps a family member or friend’s kid, then I don’t suppose you can fully understand how deeply many like me feel about this, and the disgust felt at an insurgency that is well-organized, highly trained, and well-funded. When you give your life attempting to shield sex-traffickers and pushers from justice, that’s about as bad as it gets.

Having watched someone close go through weeks of unending, incurable pain and a life ending illness, I can agree with you. Somewhat. The problem is, as with all laws, the intent at first does not remain what the law evolves into. The ability to alter laws is never gone completely and it only takes one judge, a politician or the SC to make an end of life law morph into a control over life and death decisions in the hands of the wrong people or to the govt. itself.

FBI agents were spotted entering the Fulton County Election Hub and Operation Center, said Fox News, which first reported the search of a new facility that state officials opened in 2023.
Finally!!!! Fulton County has defied many judges for the last several years, and now the DOJ, on this stuff.
