The nurses I work with are now “precepting” (fancy word for a lengthy orientation in a hospital)–precepting their replacements.
The replacements? Where is the Nurses Union? Time better spent would be challenging their credentials and education. Verification. They should have to pass tests and have background checks to qualify. Sue them, make them produce. We have a merit system now and it should be used.

Another hit for seniors will be the hit on Medicare for 2027. If you get a chance ,read the statements from UNH, CVS, or any other health insurer given this morning.
Seems many major companies are only interested in rising stock prices and bigger profits. Tuff luck for just regular hard working people.
Unless election fraud, illegal immigrants, food prices are not handled much better we are in big trouble as law abiding and honest workers. JMO

Unfortunately grocery prices are still sky high for the vast majority of items . I know he often raves about the economy but the fact is very few people are feeling it . Most think Trump is too focused on everything other than how Americans are doing .
Things need to change quickly to have any chance in the midterms . Achieving something substantial like jailing the people who are running sanctuary cities would be a good start, something that was promoted as a top priority close to a year ago . This never ending “We’re looking into it ” and ” New investigations are happening” is not flying anymore .
I blame his gatekeepers. Pfizer Sue for starters. He is deliberately kept out of touch from “We the People, the forgotten men and women”.

Regarding gasoline, there is/was price gouging in my ‘hood of IL, right before the storm of last week and brutally cold conditions, gas went from 2.79 a gallon to 3.19.
Eggs are cheaper in my local Jewel and Walmart, but everything else is still high. Milk is high.
Do you expect different? Living in a democRat state or city expecting state or city taxes and fees to be lower.
I’m in a red area, still corrupt money spending RINOS, of a blue state and we still get gouged! If we could get ahead or transfer jobs, we’d be out of here.
The farmer is currently getting about $1.15/gal before the milk company waters it down and sells it to you.
How high is milk when you compare it to coke, orange juice, beer or any other beverage?
It’s actually all up. Some off brands of milk are like paste if left out, same as vanilla ice cream if the bowl isn’t rinsed right out. Orange juice is never 100% squeezed oranges.
We buy milk straight from the dairy, then we know where the $$ goes and we know where the milk comes from. Incredibly fresh, raw milk, just like God provided. Yes, it costs more but you have to decide, how important is it to know what is going in your mouth???
$2.89 in Monroe, WI. Eggs, we sell at $4/doz, farm fresh! Brown, green, blue, a white one occasionally. Farm with horses some of the time.

Not true here in Western Ohio: In Dayton, some friends have found eggs for 99 ¢ a dozen, gasoline was $1.99 a gallon, milk is at $1.50 to $1.70 a gallon.
I just bought Hershey’s Cocoa for $1.35, and it had been as much as $5.00 +.
Boneless chicken breast $3.99 a pound.
