Where are these tens of thousands in Minnesota? The media have been very careful to only include tight angle shots and I haven’t noticed thousands in candle lit vigils, which is the normal treatment for martyrs of a popular resistance. If those tens of thousands are spread over the entire country, then they’ll be spread thin and reflect a fraction of a percent of the State’s population, hardly a popular resistance.
Second point, if civilians can find this out then the authorities will have, and probably far earlier, given their unmatched resources. The paradox that the Left face is that by increasingly adopting para-military tactics and technology they then become increasingly vulnerable to military tactics being deployed against them. It used to be that the power of a popular revolt was in its spontaneity and lack of a logistical tail, but now, by following military protocols, due possibly to low numbers, the ‘resistance’ removes some of the traditional disadvantages a conventional force faced when combating such popular movements.

I recently met a Canadian colleague for dinner and we discussed, among other things, politics. I gently pushed back on the constant TDS, which veered between, ill informed, sneering contempt to, literally, foaming anger and often tried to steer the conversation towards less controversial topics, given there were others present.
After a nice meal we said our goodbyes and exchanged parting pleasantries, but on the journey back one of our group said he’d asked them, ‘when had I become so combative’. Any threat to their world view, any pushback from the narrative and it seems as though they regard it as almost a betrayal.
This has been my experience too with people I know in Toronto.

Appointing Noem and Bondi meant deportations and swamp prosecutions was never going to be implemented in a serious way. I’m not saying that was Trump’s intent (I doubt it was), but it is the effect of those appointments. I know it’s not what we want to face, but the truth is the truth. There’s still time to change. But unfortunately, it will be harder to gain meaningful traction if the midterms change the congressional balance of power. We needed the right personnel in place right out of the gate. Had that happened, we’d probably be facing better mid-term prospects, as well.
