First, for those who don’t remember 2015/2016, the Cruz Crew bitterly fought against MAGA on the issue of Ted Cruz’s position on TPA, TPP and tariffs. The Cruz Crew tried to deny his position; the entire tribe was fraught with liars. This article within Washington Examiner and Axios proves MAGA was always right.
Second, you don’t have to be a deep weeds walker to know exactly who the donor crowd was, but for those who don’t follow U.S. politics I can guarantee you these Cruz sentiments were to a very specific Israel-First audience of GOP donors. Ted Cruz is the political voice of Mark Levin; that’s why Levin’s son was working for the Cruz campaign back in 2016.
Thirdly, Ted Cruz role in 2028 will be to run as a splitter in the GOP contest with a direct plan to pave the way for Ron DeSantis. Cruz will continue attacking JD Vance on behalf of the Israel First alignment. That was/is the entire purpose of his remarks to the audience in this leaked donor audio. Ted Cruz is toxic and divisive.
Lastly, in the modern conservative movement, Ted Cruz is irrelevant.

Living in WA State, I patiently await the day we move to same day voting and counting to declare the winners with mandatory paper ballots, proof of residence and voter ID. The country will then learn that WA State is as red as Trump’s tie. Get rid of mail in ballots and voting machines.

The AZ Republican Party has been largely subsumed by MAGA since 2020. The country clubbers became discouraged (dwarfed in numbers) and are no longer well represented at district meetings. We have strayed a long way from the need for States Rights. However, I do believe our forefathers were right to create such a system. However, that was before greed became the goal of government elected hounds. That was also before this country began to honor and be swayed politically by lobbyist.
States rights need a rewrite and an accountability system.
It used to be the US Senators from the respective states were chosen by and elected to represent their state government and/or state legislatures at the federal level before the Constitution was amended to give us The House of Lords we have today.

I totally agree. Coryn during the Obama administration was against a border wall. He was all about using technology to secure the border. I remember him with the democrat mayor of McAllen in a boat along the river agreeing with the mayor on so called border security. Very little and ineffective security. What we can do right now about all this is work harder to fully reveal the Uni-Party and their RINO enablers to even the casual news followers.

The republicans wont use reconciliation for Trump’s plans when they can easily. If they did it the Senate can appoint all his remaining Admin, which they’ve held up since Jan. 20, 2025. Many reps hate Trump as much as Dems. They wont try to win so Trumps last 3 years filled with impeachment plans. When they do this where does MAGA go for support. Sen. The GOP will likely retain the Senate this year; however, they have real challenges with respect to the 2028 election. 2027 will be the year the GOP “big beautiful bill” mandates the removal of U.S. citizens who get sick and lose their jobs (or can’t find one due to all the offshoring of U.S. jobs, the outsourcing of U.S. work to foreign firms, and the in-sourcing of foreign replacement labor that’s all over the nation) from all subsidized healthcare unless they are totally disabled or meet a strict frailty standard (such as needing an organ transplant). The independent voters and Republican voters who are below the poverty line and affected by this are not happy about this. The little surveying done so far on this show they are pulling their votes from Republican candidates over it. GOP needs to plug this hole before 2028 and find a way to get out in front again. Screeching aggressively won’t do it Retired USMC. You’ll need to actually fix the problem.
We need to remember that we, MAGA, are the group who is attempting to replace the Repugs in US politics. I hope we succeed because any failure now will lead to a Communist future for all of us. They only came around as it appeared Trump was going to win the primaries in 2016. And, of course, never forget the 22 Never-Trump Republicans who each penned a commentary in the Feb. 2016 National Review Magazine entitled, “Against Trump”. Never trust a Never-Trumper!
That is not quite true. I listened to Rush everyday. Everyday! Rush said when Trump came down the golden escalator that “people are going to resonate with what Trump was saying”. Rush stayed out of the primary selection saying over and over how he was getting calls from “establishment GOP, right leaning journalists, Republican friends” to disavow Trump and get behind Cruz and others. Rush said he would not get involved in the primary but would support whoever the Republican nominee was. Rush said he was getting massive amounts of pressure daily from these people and stopped taking their phone calls. That’s what Rush said all during the primary. I listened to his show everyday.
Yeap, once they started talking trash about Donald Trump, seemingly following the same script everyone else was using, I stopped listening to “conservative” radio altogether.

Rush Limbaugh was never our problem. He never said who he supported until the primary season was no longer in doubt for Trump. This was because Limbaugh knew who his listeners were, and they were scattered among all 18 of the Repug candidates. He knew one thing and that was ANY of those 18 would make a better President than Hillary Clinton. He announced his support of Trump as soon as it was a good for him to step into the fray. That did not make him a traitor to Trump.

You misremember. I was all in on Ted Cruz in ’16, as well as being a Rush 24/7 subscriber. At the time, I was concerned that Rush wasn’t pushing back against Trump the way I thought he should. He was quite neutral through that whole process. I’m more embarrassed to say I was a heavy Mark Levin listener – he was 100% for Cruz and 100% never-Trump. I think Levin went underground and made nice with Trump for their mutual benefit, but he’s far more of a snake in the grass than Cruz or Desantis. No, that’s not because he’s pro-Israel, it’s because he’ll attack any conservative with a spine the moment they speak against the GOP: he was apoplectic when swamp creature McCarthy got what he deserved. Going back to Rush, he understood the frustration that was driving MAGA and while he didn’t welcome it with open arms, he didn’t push back on it either. There’s a strong current in the black-pill “conservative” movement that wants to cast Rush as a GOP puppet. The way that much of this has been carried out is in fact due to the corruption and capture of the Bar Association.
The Bar Association was yet another thing that was started very innocently to simply solve a problem.
The idea was to pool some money to then pay for needed further and ongoing education to keep these lawyers current and up to speed on societal and cultural changes.. the person that came up with this idea saw the need for all these lawyers to be right up to date on rapidly changing times. It all sounds like a good idea and in the early days it was- BUT like every other agency, it’s been captured, then weaponized and turned in an evil behemoth to carry out a job.
Where we are today is that these attorneys MUST be members of the Bar and yet that same Bar is so corrupt that it’s then impossible to be a fair and honest attorney and still be a member.
It’s a Cabal, it’s a Cartel, it’s not what we think it is- at all.
It’s the roots and basis of what we’re seeing happening in the courts.
I’ll also point out that once you are an attorney, you are forever an “Officer Of The Court” and look at what the court now is- and this is straight to the very top of the Supreme Court.
What is going on here is an infiltration into the Executive BY The Judiciary with the use of all these attorneys.
And when you get what the Judiciary has turned into, then you can clearly see the problem !!

I confess that I was a big Cruz supporter and voted for him in the Pa primary when he still had a chance to beat Trump (at least mathematically). When he basically stole Colorado from Trump using elite/deep GOP tactics, I knew his campaign was over. He showed his true colors.

Notes from NH: We already did the deep dive on Ted Cruz back when he ran for President last time, we know he was born in Canada and both his parents were not American citizens, he’s not qualified to be the President.
His parents shady past should set off red flags as well.. there are many unanswered questions that did raise alarm bells here.
The same thing was true for Barry, Kamala AND Marco Rubio, their lack of qualification WAS RAISED here IF you were lucky enough to actually hear what we were saying.

Why isn’t the fact that Cruz was born in Canada and his father wasn’t a citizen of either Canada or the US. Why is this never addressed? He isn’t eligible to run for president. He isn’t a natural born citizen….but then, neither was Obama or Chester Arthur, so I guess the Constitution doesn’t really mean anything!
His mother was born in Delaware. I think that would satisfy natural born citizenship.

I mean, John Thune continues McConnell’s dirty work as majority leader, is literally 50-50 in his voting record on conservative issues, and somehow the MAGAsphere routinely rushes right past to jump on every little thing Cruz said? He really is an idiot though: the mastermind of the uniparty playbook who can’t figure out how to vote with Schumer. It’s so easy, even a Murcowski can do it!
And you really think he’s going to be the spoiler in the ’28 primary? You point out the fallacy of your own argument by highlighting the similarities: they’d be fighting over the same voters. You are probably right that he’s irrelevant: he’d be overjoyed to get picked a VP at this point. But that begs the question: why waste your breath on someone who’s not relevant? I know why: because he went head-to-head with Trump at one point, and there’s a dark thread in the only-Trump movement that wants to see everyone who did so destroyed – as well as those who stand on principle on issues like spending and debt. If indeed the Natural Born Citizen condition required for POTUS eligibility is ultimately defined as born to the jurisdiction of the United States to parents who are its citizens. As he well knows, Cruz would fail eligibility under a strict application of that definition. But as of today, that definition is not yet decided by SCOTUS.
Cruz others like him may preferable over the typical machine democrat, but there is something about “The House of Lords” conceit and parlor cult mentality that’s infected the US Senate that’s untenable and utterly unsuitable for the role of Commander In Chief and President of the United States. They are too out of touch and in perhaps too many ways, and that is a danger to us all given today’s treacherous political climate.
The Democratic Socialists of America (and Socialist International) have established factions in the DNC and party apparatus, Congress, the federal agencies and administrative state and its unions, and state governments, universities, philanthropies and media and their unions. It is no small matter as current events readily display.
DSA/SI agendas are forcing domestic culture shifts that are increasingly sympathetic to their corrosive rhetoric and moral calculus. The self-sabotage and indolence of the GOPe and their parlor horde seem defenseless and almost co-dependent by comparison.
Trump and his team are a remarkable lot. They need every prayer and every bit of support we can muster.
