Holy Cow. An efficiency in N. Texas can be had at a gated complex for half that. $30k/year would put you in a 3BR house in a nice neighborhood and I don’t know if an apartment exists at that price.
Mind you, that listing I remembered was during the height of the Covid nonsense back in 2021-2022. The rent on my current place in the same city has also increased about $100 since then, and is likely a combination of inflating real estate and local tax hikes.

Correct. $2500/month to rent a house, given the caliber of the tenants being placed, is dirt cheap.
That isn’t an endorsement of the government paying for it, that’s actually an indictment of that system. Tenants with no stake in the rental are frequently very destructive.
$2,500 a month would buy a lot of house in Maine, if you could find a suitable place for sale.
Housing being expensive in the State is partly a result of lack of supply as well as zoning. Ditto cost of materials to build new construction.
We should be coming up with a media campaign aimed at other ethnic groups and legal immigrants telling them that this is happening.
The ethnic group based big umbrella strategy is fracturing right now. Most American black people see no reason to help Somalians or illegal Latinos. (Or to join with white savior Karens)

We had a scandal in our school district a couple years ago where a couple school board members were trying to sneak a Muslim onto our district board by vote manipulation.

Actually, I find that “rt.com” in particular is a good source of journalism – particularly their video “shows,” some of which are hosted by Americans. While, yes, it is told from an eastern European perspective, I do not find it to be “propaganda” in the negative sense.
By that I mean: “Yes, it is a media outlet partly supported by the Russian Government.” But I think that their production team is given broad rein to speak candidly as they see it. (And in a different way, “sputnikglobe.com.”) Very often, I think that their stories and shows are insightful in many ways that American MSM frankly is not.

On my last summons, when I took the jury survey at the courthouse, I wrote on the survey, “Why would I serve in a court system that fabricates laws to persecute politicians I support and ignores laws to protect criminals I don’t want in my country?”
Of the 200 jurors in the pool that morning, roughly 150 were pushed into the courtrooms.
I was not one of them.
But imagine that x75,000,000.
It would collapse the already bloated and corrupt judicial system in this country. It would certify its illegitimacy.
I have served on grand jury and found it and other jurors to be reasonable and fair. Note, I do not live in the inner city or a blue state.
There are leftist organizations holding workshops on how to get picked for jury duty and how to nullify for a desired outcome. Maybe the same ones teaching how to interfere in ICE operations and why anything they’re taught to do is “legal.”

A big fuss was made about an actor named Michael B. Jordan playing twin brothers.
Knowing nothing else about it, we gave it a chance last night.
All kinds of bad computer graphics, all kinds of mumbling, all kinds of too-loud and rather annoying music, which detracts from what one is watching.
Worst of all, it becomes obvious that this is another Communist agenda movie: People of European background are mainly Ku Klux Klan members or blood-sucking vampires, incest is pushed, etc.
We turned it off after about 40 minutes.
Mrs. Ausonius commented: “Why was that actor playing twin brothers getting so much praise? There wasn’t much to what he was mumbling. And anyway, Hayley Mills already did that 60 years ago, and did it better!”
Somehow the movie has made money (supposedly $200 million): perhaps the Leftists in the Afro-American population and Communists in general world-wide have supported it. There is also the Horror-movie crowd, who will go to see anything with vampires and demonism.
Again, we knew nothing about that before watching.
There was not one bit of interesting dialogue, not one striking scene visually, no compelling drama: two criminals open up a night-club to spread corruption in a corrupt town, and vampires and demons are around.
Oh yes! Noble American Indians show up to warn racist white people about the white vampires, but of course they are ignored!
All the Communist-agenda boxes were checked!
And so, the WOKE Agenda continues: since the movie has made money and (probably through rigging) has gotten all these nominations for Oscars, expect more attempts to spread their poisonous ideology.

I reflexively try to never click on anything that appears to be pushed hard by the globalists. Just like the preferred news links. If they want me to read it I usually rather not, nor do I want to patronize their sick agendas.
Why would anyone give any money to watch these Hollywood demons? Conservatives can’t refrain from Hollywood or the detectable NFL apparently.
I have worked hard, been blessed in many ways and have, quite frankly, had some good luck along the way in generating a fair amount of wealth for my family. It has resulted in me paying enormous amounts of taxes of all kinds. Frustrating always, but I could somewhat rationalize as “the price of doing business” while voting and advocating for people and policies that sought to minimize the burden.
I am fatigued. The IRS, states and even local authorities have put in place all sorts of mechanisms to extract every last dollar. I received notice last year from a state I don’t live in that I owed them $100.
Yet these same political entities open the spigots to fund NGOs that fight against our country’s best interests, create programs where fraud is a feature and not a flaw and fund lavish travel and conferences and board seats for all of the politicians and bureaucrats. Nobody gives a sh!t how the money gets spent nor is there ever accountability.
I am hopeful that the sunlight brought about by the MN Somali fraud leads to an effort by President Trump to tighten the reigns. It seems Bessent is “on it” but I will remain skeptical until I see real changes. He runs the world’s largest Treasury that lacks the basic control mechanisms on disbursements that you would find at a small business.

I too have worked my entire life, invested in assets and yes have been fortunate and am comfortably off.
We are literally taxed on everything, on a utility bill, gasoline, many packaged food items, we have a graduated tax on real estate.
Any time a vehicle is sold, we pay tax. A used vehicle when bought and sold will be taxed until it goes to the wrecker.
There it will be levied for environmental B.S.
Restaurants etc etc.
A major consideration for me now, is any purchase or service going to be taxed, if it is odds are I won’t buy or use it.
Sadly innocents trapped by governments are being destroyed.

Winter Storm Uri in February 2021 caused widespread power outages, leaving millions without electricity for days in subfreezing temperatures. I had a water pipe burst over my garage bringing down ceiling Sheetrock and water, had to turn off my water! Didn’t have water for weeks. Had to go to my son’s house to shower! Didn’t have any power for a week in freezing temperatures! Hopefully that won’t happen again! Sanctuary City or Sanctuary State is nothing more than a declaration of Refusal to comply with federal law. There is no legal justification for it. None of us get to declare ourselves, on our own motion, immune from legally passed laws.
So under the Primacy Clause couldn’t any state Governor or Mayor of a city who declares it will not abide by federal law and encourages its citizens to rebel against federal law be arrested for incitement, at a minimum?
I realize this would be very incendiary, but how much more on fire can Minnesota get? Walz and Frey are the initial arsonists.
This should have been done years ago, and regardless of how much fire it causes, all sanctuary cities should have their sanctuary status declared null and void. Additionally, all leaders need to be held accountable for their actions.

In every iota of this article, “the entire planet(!) must concede to American hegemony.” Because it is the one-and-only possible place to go. Russia cannot exist without America, “BRICS” is never mentioned, neither “multipolarity.” There is simply no other option available, other than what will presumably enrich his “global investment platform.”

Why should President Trump give the order and overthrow the Islamic Republic regime in Iran? Because the disease that began in the 1979 Revolution has grown and metastasized, and it has reached our shores. It is a disease of authoritarianism, murder, and terrorism.
