A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 369 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

We usually sleep with our furnace off every night, but last night decided to keep it set at 70 degrees so our heating pipes wouldn’t freeze. Was a balmy 62 degrees in our family room when I got up.
Woke to see two grouse sitting on the ground under a bunch of bird feeders my husband keeps well stocked. They both looked like bowling balls with all their feathers puffed out.
God’s glory is clearly visible in this world and all His creatures.

This is what I am praying for, hanging on for.
Medical professionals: Physicians, Nurses, other providers are unable to do their jobs. More and more of what they do is restricted/commanded by insurance companies, through a smothering layers of health care administration. We have become enslaved.
Every health care provider is forced financially in one direction to survive, but still tries to keep the ethical obligation to the patient, who is the real customer.
This moral dissonance is devastating to health care workers — not the taking care of illness, but trying to continue to meet health care needs when funding, rules, documentation is all controlled by a corrupt set of bureaucracy.
Exactly! And it’s getting progressively worse. I am all for the good ol’ days of going to the dr and paying for the visit…send the bill to your insurance company if you have one. Let physicians do what they went to med school for instead of “practicing medicine” according to algorithms.

Iran’s leader has directly threatened the life of our President within the past two weeks, and has threatened to launch long range attacks on the eastern shores of the US.
If Iran weren’t worthy of concern I don’t think President Trump would have gone to the trouble, risk and expense of taking out their nuclear facilities last summer. Nor would he have mobilized the flotilla of forces arriving in the middle east today to deal with that violent regime.
I believe it’s clearly in the best interests of the US and the world to see an end to the scourge of violent islamist terrorism, and Iran is the head of that snake.

Good morning. -32F here. N Minnesota. Not sure what the wind chill is. Furnace running almost none stop. Not even going to try and start a vehicle until day times temps get close to zero degrees. Monday perhaps. Haven’t heard any trees explode yet.
-30 on our outdoor thermometer a few minutes ago here in the Arrowhead. Glad there is no wind.
All my days here in the Minnesota hinterland I’ve never seen or heard of trees exploding due to the cold.

But can you imagine having to deal with kids’ clothes washed on that schedule? Kids love dirt, they’re drawn to dirt, they demonstrate it every time they go out to play, and it’s not just the boys.

100 percent cotton clothing would be nice to find, especially cotton sweaters that are not expensive. I haven’t had a dryer in 25 years, so my 100 percent cotton Kmart specials look great. 😉
I don’t have any trouble finding 100% cotton clothing. Quality varies widely. I look for pima cotton as the longer fibers make the fabric more durable.
I still have some of that Kmart cotton. Quality in the big box stores was much better then, imo.

Witness the Cristal River Plant, which is also a G.E. plant… It has been virtually shut down for the last several years due to plant deterioration…
I use the term “virtually shutdown” due to the fact that we do not have the technology to completely shut-down our old and deteriorating nuclear generating plants.

Hanging clothes out on the clothesline in the sun purifies them and there is not a better smell that exists.
