Sad but true. Before retiring a few years ago after 30+ years in IT, in the private sector, mostly in mfg, I worked for a local gubmint. I hated it. My boss told me that government cannot be run like a business. Half of the employees could have been fired and no one would have noticed. Very few cared what taxpayer money was spent on. So glad I was able to get out when I did. Gubmint and the healthcare industry rank below the gunk in a grease trap.
I’m 64 years old and have no contact whatsoever with the wonderful world of “Healthcare”, save for getting my teeth cleaned!
As long as I feel healthy, I do not want to be a medical patient in any way shape or form. I don’t want to know what my “numbers” are…… except how many push-ups I can do and how much I weigh.

I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me until now. But after hearing Lutnick speak about how Europe has shifted to complete energy dependency on Russia and China. Globalization is about creating irreversible DEPENDENCY on these specific parties and interests.

In the early 2000’s I said to my wife “Did we lose a war?” because a victor will dismantle the loser’s manufacturing and empty its treasury. 37 trillion dollars and more in debt speaks of an emptied treasury and the focus on trying to bring manufacturing back to our homeland tells the story of its loss. Europe is in worst condition, it hasn’t much for the natural resources required in order to pull itself back up.
