We did that once with a fruit cake. Each recipient would freeze it and give it away the next Christmas. Like the game hot potato, nobody wanted to keep it.

He told me he doesn’t trust this government about anything ir says or does.
Yeah, he’s right not to trust the government on it’s authority claims. You should commend him for that before going deeper into the actual research or even common sense (simply eat natural food). I celebrate the truth telling in the new food guidelines, but the notion of government food guidelines is really bad.

The Nobel Committee lost my interest a very long time ago in their complete politicization of their award. Donald Trump is an obvious recipient of that Prize, based literally on what he has done and is now doing to promote “Peace.” As someone with the literal and sovereign power to do so – and to do the opposite. Both War and Peace are his to command. In Ukraine, he is tirelessly demanding that War stop. At its source. Dragging all the parties together, like it or not, and brusquely “schooling” them. They have to listen.
That’s what a “peacemaker” looks like. That’s what it takes. That’s how it’s done.
The people responsible for giving out the award refuse to see it that way – even giving their Prize to another American President whose tenure was marked by many wars that he himself started. That move was transparently political “pandering.” Whereas, when Donald Trump in his first term never started any wars, the Prize committee was curiously but predictably silent. (It’s called, “peacemaking.” Have you ever seen it before?)
I don’t think that Mr. Nobel himself would approve. Their “Prize” has become meaningless to me. What did their latest recipient do to actually cause “Peace?” What power does she have?
