Somali Medicaid Fraud – continued

So yesterday I wrote about a Medicaid scam I saw on Watters’ Fox show where a somali visiting the doctor needed a translator (also a Somali, natch) to translate doctor’s diagnosis and care instructions to the patient.

Minimum 8 hours billable for the translator.

Turned out many of the billing doctors were fictional, so the entire 4 or 5 transaction escapade was simply a house-of-cards of fraudulent imaginary transactions, but Medicaid would disburse for them all

At the end I said “and you can bet both the patient and translator would bill for transportation (taxi) to and from the “doctor”

Well today Nick Shirley completed the picture on the transport side by identifying fraudulent medical care transport companies

It’s clear that they had some sharp, Medicaid-knowledgeable accountants run through all the typical Medicaid transactions associated with a routine medical visit and filed complete billing for each step in a normal visit.

Since it’d be easy to do this reverse-thinking billing fraud anywhere, bet that it goes on ALL OVER the US, not just by those Somali monkeys

Nick Shirley’s next find? 1,000s of fraudulent Minnesota transport companies

YouTuber Nick Shirley says Minnesota’s non-emergency medical transportation system has become a sprawling fraud operation hiding in plain sight, alleging that more than 1,000 transport companies are billing taxpayers for services that appear not to exist.

In a video posted Monday, Shirley said his yearlong review of state records, site visits, and documentation — conducted with a researcher he identified only as David — points to a network of shell transportation outfits clustered around adult daycare centers, charter schools, and Medicaid-funded programs, particularly in the Twin Cities.

“To have that many non-emergency medical transportation companies, it’s not possible that they can transport that many people,” David said, describing repeated visits to a Minneapolis facility where vans “have not moved one inch in an entire year,” despite ongoing billing.

Shirley framed transportation as “the belly of the beast,” arguing that transport providers appear to work in tandem with adult care centers to generate paper appointments and reimbursements.
The allegations land amid a widening federal crackdown.

The Department of Health and Human Services announced last week it froze child-care payments to Minnesota over fraud concerns, and federal prosecutors have charged 78 defendants to date.

Similar whistleblower complaints have surfaced in Maine and Ohio involving Somali-led health providers, and on Monday HHS disclosed new scrutiny tied to foreign officials.

We should now be able to recognise these anti-Israel crusaders, not as the allies of peace in the Middle East, but as the West’s enemies within. They have drunk the toxic cocktail of Islamism, Western self-loathing and leftist identity politics that declares white Jews are always oppressors, whatever is done to them, and non-white Palestinians must always be the victims, whatever they do.  

While they are in retreat on other issues across the West, hating Israel has become the woke left’s last stand. Israel must be supported when it inevitably has to deal with Hamas again.

Rather than facing up to that harsh reality, too many European governments have instead given succour and support to Hamas by recognising the fantasy state of Palestine. 

Time we all recognised the fact that President Trump’s breakthrough was made possible by the outstanding military successes of the Israeli Defence Forces, which finally forced the Arab states to come to the table and press Hamas to give up the hostages. We should recognise, too, the fortitude of Benjamin Netanyahu’s Israeli government, in the face of mounting odds and multiplying enemies.

American pop and rock singer-songwriter (“Everybody’s Talkin'”; “One”; “Without You”), dies of a heart attack at 52

Biography: Born in the Bedford–Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, and raised in a broken home, Harry dropped out of school a moved to Los Angeles. He found work programming computers for a bank at night, and pursued a singing career by day. He possessed a wide vocal range, and fell into songwriting when improvising forgotten lyrics.

After working on demo recordings and releasing a few singles, and having The Monkees cover his song “Cuddly Toy”, he signed a major label contract with RCA and resigned from the bank. His early RCA albums were critical, if not commercial, successes, and caught the ear of Beatles press agent Derek Taylor. Soon after, Paul McCartney and John Lennon endorsed his work, and his career took off.

He did not enjoy performing, and never toured. Part of his recording process involved multi-tracking his own voice in a choral fashion, which could not be replicated on stage.

His biggest hit singles, both of which won Grammy Awards, were cover versions – Fred Neil’s “Everbody’s Talkin'” (from the film Midnight Cowboy) and Badfinger’s “Without You” (on his career defining album Nilsson Schmilsson). As a songwriter, his biggest hit was by Three Dog Night covering “One”.

The follow up work to his biggest success was decidedly less commercial, the album Son of Schmilsson contained lyrics not suitable for broadcast, and then he made an orchestral album of torch song standards (A Touch of Schmilsson in the Night). His increased drink and drug usage began affecting him, and culminated with him working through severely injured vocal chords on his Pussycats album, produced by John Lennon during his notorious ‘lost weekend’ in Los Angeles.

After Lennon’s murder, Nilsson largely stopped making new music and became a gun control advocate. His musical output was mostly concentrated on film soundtracks.

In 1976, he married for his third time, to an Una O’Keefe, an Irish woman who was a student-waitress when they met at an ice cream parlor in New York City in 1973. With her, he had 6 of his 7 children.

Bankruptcy and a 1993 heart attack motivated him to get back to recording in order to support his family. He was working on an album when a second heart attack in 1994 ended his life. 25 years later, his finished vocals were given some backing music, and the album “Losst and Founnd” was released.

For the Love of Harry: Everybody Sings Nilsson, a tribute album featuring Nilsson’s songs performed by Ringo Starr and Stevie Nicks, Brian Wilson, Aimee Mann, Randy Newman, Jimmy Webb, and others, was released in 1995, with proceeds benefiting the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence.

COMMENTARY FOR PSALMS 34

David praises God, and encourages to trust him. (1-10) He exhorts to fear. (11-22)

1-10 If we hope to spend eternity in praising God, it is fit that we should spend much of our time here in this work. He never said to any one, Seek ye me in vain. David’s prayers helped to silence his fears; many besides him have looked unto the Lord by faith and prayer, and it has wonderfully revived and comforted them. When we look to the world, we are perplexed, and at a loss. But on looking to Christ depends our whole salvation, and all things needful thereunto do so also. This poor man, whom no man looked upon with any respect, or looked after with any concern, was yet welcome to the throne of grace; the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The holy angels minister to the saints, and stand for them against the powers of darkness. All the glory be to the Lord of the angels. By taste and sight we both make discoveries, and have enjoyment; Taste and see God’s goodness; take notice of it, and take the comfort of it. He makes all truly blessed that trust in him. As to the things of the other world, they shall have grace sufficient for the support of spiritual life. And as to this life, they shall have what is necessary from the hand of God. It is not enough not to do hurt, we must study to be useful, and to live to some purpose; we must seek peace and pursue it; be willing to deny ourselves a great deal for peace’ sake. It is the constant practice of real believers, when in distress, to cry unto God, and it is their constant comfort that he hears them. The righteous are humbled for sin, and are low in their own eyes. Nothing is more needful to true godliness than a contrite heart, broken off from every self-confidence. In this soil every grace will flourish, and nothing can encourage such a one but the free, rich grace of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The righteous are taken under the special protection of the Lord, yet they have their share of crosses in this world, and there are those that hate them. Both from the mercy of Heaven, and the malice of hell, the afflictions of the righteous must be many. But whatever troubles befal them, shall not hurt their souls, for God keeps them from sinning in troubles. No man is desolate, but he whom God has forsaken.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Yesterday I lost my job and was told to vacate the property. I lost my temper and told my boss to “replace me” and she did. I just didn’t expect it all to happen so fast, a little over a week from the day I gave notice till I am told to “get out”. Me and Trouble are good for now but we could use a little divine intervention about now. Please pray for us…🖖🏻

Many conflicting reports about the potential attack on Iran. It’s mainly speculation and mis-information.

”He will”, “He will not”, “Was persuaded to not”, “He is cheating them to surprise them”… Those are all speculations.

It may be that the situation is fluid and he himself is still collecting data for a better decision.

But here is my opinion: The American forces in the area are not sufficient to deal with the response and this includes a better defense of Israel and American bases in the area. The USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is on its way. It takes about a week to arrive.

Additionally Trump wants results. Not just a show. Results may require more planning and challenging existing plans.

There are also hidden factors, for examples what is the Mossad doing?. I sense that they want to arm the protesters so that when the strikes occur it will follow with a revolution. Also following the leadership and locating them all.

So here we go, more speculations. We shall see. Sometimes more time pending is the better route.

God Bless the Forces who will help Iran to liberate itself.
