Should we take action via our military my bet is that kinetic power will be applied to the IRGC via drone, cruise missile, and other means – no American forces on the ground. The IRGC runs the country for the mullahs. They are fanatics for the most part that live off the production of the citizens.and keep the regular military personnel in line.

I would also expect us to check with Israel intelligence about the internal bad actors we might focus on, their installations, command and control etc. Israel destroyed their air defense system and a large portion of their ballistic missile infrastructure last year. Without an effective IRGC to keep the population in line the Iranians stand a much better chance of running the mullahs out of the country.
