I read a J,E,P,D textual analysis that made it seem like a lot of the Davidic promises were propaganda to explain why God left Judah intact but took away the Kingdom of Israel. I knew there had to be more timely promises. So thanks.
But I’m not sure why I worried. It seems those analyses were thrown overboard for the nonsense that it was all written after captivity in Babylon. If they were going to borrow any religion after Babylonian captivity, I would think it would be that of their Persian Saviors, not the hated Babylonians. But these slick thinkers always cover their bases. I thought the depiction of Abram coming from Ur was proof that the tale of the flood was known long before. But they depict that as a post exilic change. Somehow ignoring that they admitted something existed to be changed.

Not that I know.
The reason why a radio or TV can sit in one place and be tuned to different channels via an antenna is the fact that all those signals pass through that spot at the same time. That does not bode well for any device that claims to neutralize them. But it also would be a good test of that device’s function.
There are so many different types of TVs, it would be hard to know what sets off the pacemaker. All sound speakers use magnets, but the same site rules that out. CRTs use magnets to steer electron beams, but they are in the back. I don’t think LCDs or LEDs use magnets. And I have no clue about plasma TVs. But they all operate at some frequency and will leak signals just from the electronics. 60, 120, 240 Hz are typical. That leakage is supposed to be minimal as tested in UL or CE certification, but any device could misfunction and fail that test.
And maybe there are different types of pace makers? Each suffering different influences. Maybe improved versions being implanted over time. This is one of the things that bugs me about people wanting to implant chips in their heads. How quickly would it be obsolete? Would they stop supporting your software? Implanting something is not something you change like shoes.
Good luck. It might be easier to obstruct the approach to the TV so that you can watch from afar but not get close enough to bug the pacemaker. But that also means repositioning things like the DVD player.

The case is Chevron USA Inc. vs Plaquemines Parish. Justice Alito has recused himself from this case. This is a petition that arises from Louisiana parishes (counties) efforts to hold petitioners (Chevron) liable in State court for production of crude oil in the Louisiana coastal zone during World War II. This case was removed to federal court because that production had been done under a federal contract. There are two questions before the court:
1) “Whether a causal-nexus or contractual direction test survives the 2011 amendment to the federal officer removal statute” and
2) “Whether a federal contractor can remove to federal court when sued for oil-production activities undertaken to fulfill a federal oil-refinement contract.”
[ my assumption in speed reading the filings, and hoping any lawyers here on the Treehouse can clarify if incorrect, it appears there was an amendment to a law passed in 2011 that some environmental groups are trying to exploit so they can sue oil companies for work they did during the 2nd world war to produce oil for the government’s war efforts, claiming some breach based on the new law instead of what the laws were when the contract was fulfilled, by filing in a Louisiana county (they call them parishes) instead of in federal court.]

COMMENTARY FOR HEBREWS 10
The insufficiency of sacrifices for taking away sin, The necessity and power of the sacrifice of Christ for that purpose. (1-18) An argument for holy boldness in the believer’s access to God through Jesus Christ, And for steadfastness in faith, and mutual love and duty. (19-25) The danger of apostacy. (26-31) The sufferings of believers, and encouragement to maintain their holy profession. (32-39)
19-25 The apostle having closed the first part of the epistle, the doctrine is applied to practical purposes. As believers had an open way to the presence of God, it became them to use this privilege. The way and means by which Christians enjoy such privileges, is by the blood of Jesus, by the merit of that blood which he offered up as an atoning sacrifice. The agreement of infinite holiness with pardoning mercy, was not clearly understood till the human nature of Christ, the Son of God, was wounded and bruised for our sins. Our way to heaven is by a crucified Saviour; his death is to us the way of life, and to those who believe this, he will be precious. They must draw near to God; it would be contempt of Christ, still to keep at a distance. Their bodies were to be washed with pure water, alluding to the cleansings directed under the law: thus the use of water in baptism, was to remind Christians that their conduct should be pure and holy. While they derived comfort and grace from their reconciled Father to their own souls, they would adorn the doctrine of God their Saviour in all things. Believers are to consider how they can be of service to each other, especially stirring up each other to the more vigorous and abundant exercise of love, and the practice of good works. I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I discovered Dr Mary and Michael Eades about 20 years ago.
Their book is called Protein Power. It’s now dogeared and brown, but still in use.
God willing I will be 84 on Sunday and am not much heavier than when my beautiful ex fiance made an honest man of me 56 years ago – some women are just lucky¡
The book blames the start of the processed food industry more than big pharma, Kellogs for instance and the sugar industry.
So am glad sense is being taught at last.

Their reconciling themselves to the present dispensations of Providence, by reflecting upon those scriptures in the Old Testament which foretold that the kingdom of the Messiah would meet with such opposition as this at the first setting of it up in the world, v. 25, 26. God, who made heaven and earth, cannot meet with any [effectual] opposition to his designs, since none dare [at least, can prevailingly] dispute or contest with him. * (1.) That the heathen would rage at Christ and his kingdom, and be angry at the attempts to set it up, because that would be the pulling down of the gods of the heathen, and giving a check to the wickedness of the heathen.
* (2.) That the people would imagine all the things that could be against it, to silence the teachers of it, to discountenance the subjects of it, and to crush all the interests of it. If they prove vain things in the issue, no thanks to those who imagined them.
* (3.) That the kings of the earth, particularly, would stand up in opposition to the kingdom of Christ, as if they were jealous (though there is no occasion for their being so) that it would interfere with their powers, and intrench upon their prerogatives. The kings of the earth that are most favoured and honoured by divine Providence, and should do most for God, are strangers and enemies to divine grace, and do most against God.
* (4.) That the rulers would gather together against God and Christ; not only monarchs, that have the power in their single persons, but where the power is in many rulers, councils, and senates, they gather together, to consult and decree against the Lord and against his Christ-against both natural and revealed religion. What is done against Christ, God takes as done against himself. Christianity was not only destitute of the advantage of the countenance and support of kings and rulers (it had neither their power nor their purses), but it was opposed and fought against by them, and they combined to run it down and yet it made its way.
