Leaving the political aspects of this shooting to others to sort out, there is a factual observation that is important.
Viewing the videos of the incident it is clear that the agent who shot the woman broke basic law enforcement protocol.
By policy, training and basic common sense, during an intervention or attempted arrest of a suspect an officer would never walk in front of a vehicle with a suspect that is running, period. He clearly does showing very bad judgement for his own physical safety.
Apparently he had a previous incident with a vehicle wherein he ended up with stitches.
Military and paramilitary individuals who are this stupid get themselves or others harmed or killed.

If you were, you’d have done careful review of all video angles. You’d have found that the officer NEVER walked in front of the vehicle.
He was standing at 2 pm to the driver when Renee Good suddenly reversed her vehicle and cut the steering wheel to her left. In so doing she now placed the officer directly in front of her vehicle, with her front tires pointed straight ahead.
At that point she stepped on the gas. We know that because the below video shows her front driver’s tire spin on ice. The officer heard the engine rev and the tire spin on the ice. He’d also just seen the vehicle back up until it was pointed at him. Having almost been killed by another driver a few months ago, he no doubt thought the driver here intended to run him over.
In the face of the reverse movement, revving engine, and spinning tires, he took lawful action.

There are several videos from different angles and they clearly show he broke protocol. The issue is unprofessional and clearly stupid behavior and reactions.

My brother was pulled over by seven cops with guns pointed at him because they thought he was involved in a hit and run car fatality – He did everything they demanded & good thing or he would have been shot. Fortunately while he had his hands on the roof of his car (and the police were getting ready to hand cuff him), they got a call that the suspect was apprehended and the damage to the suspects car matched the damage to the wreck. We need to do what the police tell us to do & sort it out later.

It is illegal to obstruct a law-enforcement officer in the performance of his duties, and it’s high time that the government start to make that idea “stick.” Apps which track where ICE or other officers are, are also illegal because of their intended purpose. App stores should be forced not to carry them, and the officers or contributing programmers for any such projects should simply be arrested. (Eventually they will reappear hidden in a “strangely popular video game.”)

The know the officers cars and once they locate them, they follow them around all day harassing them and blocking them in. Getting arrested also prevent the ICE officers from doing their actual job as well.

The officer displayed exceptional training and skill.
He drew his weapon and got off two well-aimed shots all within about one second while a large vehicle was trying to hit him.
His first shot likely killed the driver, judging by the location of the bullet hole, head-on through the front windshield. He was directly in the path of the vehicle when he fired that one. His video showed the driver already made eye-contact and knew exactly where he was standing before she gunned the accelerator.
Don’t try to tell that to “Tundra” — a TrollBot criticizing the LEO’s techniques and skills.
