Last Friday Dept of Homeland Security (DHS) began surging roughly 2,000 federal agents and officers from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s deportation branch and Homeland Security Investigations, the agency’s investigative arm tasked with fighting transnational crimes into Minnesota.
The investigative objective appears to be utilizing the massive and systemic fraud throughout Minnesota as an entry gate to expand the investigation into other states. The key takeaway is that Minnesota simply reflects the tip of the iceberg and multiple Democrat run states likely have the same or worse fraud ongoing.
The Dept of Health and Human Services (HHS) now follow up on the DHS surge with an announcement that $10 billion in Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) payments are being halted as the investigations expand. Four additional states are being reviewed: California, Colorado, Illinois and New York, join Minnesota in seeing their federal funds stopped pending review and audit.
This is a smart approach because releasing the funds will be contingent upon the states accepting the audits. We all know that genuine audits of those state records will likely reveal massive fraud within the subsidy system that has been abused by Democrats. Minnesota has provided the entry point for a much larger corruption and fraud review.
WASHINGTON — The Trump administration is cutting off more than $10 billion in social services and child care funding meant for a handful of Democrat-led states over concerns that the benefits were fraudulently funneled to non-citizens, officials told The Post Monday.
The Department of Health and Human Services will freeze taxpayer funding from the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF), the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, and the Social Services Block Grant program.
At least $7.35 billion in TANF money will be prevented from going to California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, and New York. The CCDF funding block of nearly $2.4 billion affects all those states.
Another $869 million from the Social Services Block Grant coffers is being kept from all five states as well.
The funding pauses were to be announced via letters to each state sent Monday, citing concerns that benefits were fraudulently going to non-US citizens.
The HHS Office of Inspector General found more than six years ago that New York City improperly billed the federal government for more than $24.7 million in child care subsidies. (read more)

To her credit, US AG Bondi stated a few weeks ago that there are also “Red” States on the list of those to be investigated, with respect to Welfare and Medicaid Fraud … hopefully the IRS can also be brought into play as $BILLIONS in fraudulence returns and Federal Tax Credit payouts occur annually.
Don’t forget the Federal State Grant money trail does not end until it hits the municipalities where it is actually disbursed and spend. At this point, it is the “city” officials in charge. In “Red” states, those major population centers are DEMOCRAT Bastions. This is another point of entry that will be (should be) coming soon and will also be a litmus test for “Red” State Governments.
It will be interesting to see which State AG’s step up to the plate to investigate and prosecute the fraud. This will be interesting because these actions will include a measure of “self incrimination” for more than a few “Red” state Governments.
Exactly. Any Dem-controlled jurisdiction, even down to the county or ward level, will be equally corrupt.
I doubt that money, ripe for stealing, knows any “political party” bounds. Human nature is not like that, when cold hard cash is within your reach.
I may be naively optimistic (or optimistically naive) but I would like to think at least that conservatives are a bit more moral and ethical than the blue state corrupt left-wing democrats. Morality is how you behave when people aren’t looking.
Your comment seems to assume that all or most Republicans are in fact conservative. Most talk the talk of a conservative, but do not walk the walk.
They are Uniparty; speaking the things needed to keep the R wing flapping in tune with the left wing.
My good friend: “Don’t be.” When enough money is out there, and easy enough for the stealing (or the next best thing, “appropriating”), and they all think that no one is looking (of course, because “they” are the ones who are supposed to look …) … All. Bets. Are. Off™.
Just notice how much waste that “DOGE” found, and how very quickly they found it, everywhere! Nevermind the crime.
And once found by doge, look how few prosecutions were billed.
Exactly right!
We know for a fact that the RepubliCon wing of the UniParty lusts after money like Epstein lusted after young girls.
We also know that sinfulness is the default condition of all humans and that greed is a sin. ALL humans, irrespective of political party (or any other social demarcation we choose to create) are sinful.
Red States/cities/counties and Blue States/cities/counties are equally susceptible to fraud and corruption.
H-u-m-a-n-s are “susceptible to fraud and corruption.” And they love to create mutually-beneficial “arrangements” within (sic …) “enforcement (sic …) agencies.”
The love of money . . .
For some people, “what’s the true lure of ‘a government job?'” Because you are that much closer to pure money.
Just ask Nancy Pelosi . . . 🤡
That is why We The People need to demand end to the coerced Federal Income tax, which gets redistributed for social services. Let charities provide charity; let States and the Federal government provide only the essential functions eumerated in the Constitution.
I saw a video on YT about the billions taken in by churches across the country.
These organizations need to step to the plate.
Yes, why won’t Catholic charities and Lutheran Services, who are paid to traffick people across our border, use that money to take care of them afterwards? Has it never occurred to these kind-hearted churches to provide charity for the people they themselves brought into our communities out of the goodness of their hearts?
I don’t know, but ask the Chicago-born Pope Leo what he thinks about this. Bleeding heart for poor refugees and so on. One thinks he might be related to IL Gov JB Pritzger!
They need to show up here in Georgia too!
Here in “Red” State TX, that includes:
Dallas
Houston
San Antonio
El Paso
Austin
…. plus more than a few major surrounding suburbs of these locations that are BLUE or PURPLE turning BLUE
Missouri – St. Louis and Kansas City are dem populated. Not sure, but I think Springfield may be more conservativeHow does this happen?.
Columbia is bad too.
Home of Mizzou U., gotta be.
The rif-raff always move to the cities where the Dems hand out free candy.
Salt Lake City, UT, please!
Yes: with its embarrassing “majority queer” and “majority minority” City Council and their stupid City flags!
The 2020 Census is the problem.
Illegals get to vote. They vote for fraud.
Etc etc.
As you said, it’s not just “Blue” states. Why not go after Ohio? Just going after “Blue” states hurts the Administration’s credibity.
I suspect that the story laid out by Sundance is an indicator MN will be the entry to go after ALL states via “money trails”.
The cynic in me says …. “Red” States have an opportunity to get ahead of the investigation with their own efforts and/or develop their stories explaining “inactivity” on this issue, to minimize the fallout damage.
Well, they have to start somewhere – usually with the low-hanging fruit.
They’ll get here. Ohio is second after Minnesota for number of Somali’s – although the number is 10% of Minnesota’s. Reports have come out that Somali’s have set up their various “services” in rural areas – which are red.
I doubt the fraud is exclusive to Somalis.
<“I doubt the fraud is exclusive to Somalis.”
Agreed. But it helps to have a tight-knit community with its own leadership hierarchy that may not be visible to outsiders.
Plus what they send “back home” that they’ve skimmed off the top!
The hope is, “red” States will investigate themselves.
The Missouri AG is looking for it in Missouri and has set up a hotline
Excellent
Boise Idaho is a blue island in a red state….
Bondi and Patel also promised to go after the funding and control networks of Antifa, many months ago. And where did that go?
Anything Pam Bondi promises about state subsidy fraud investigations will go similarly. Nowhere.
But she will be happy to talk tough about it on Fox News all you like.
It’s Bondi and Patel who need to go. Yesterday.
The auntie farts just issued a Fat Waaaaahhhh against me in Shasta County.
The Shasta Wolverines embarrassed them, and linked the auntie fart supported sore loser (in the’24 election) and her embedded “resistance” against legally elected conservative leaders to the anonymous fake news group “Shasta Exposed”
They ran a story about an email they uncovered through a PRA and had a fuzzy screenshot of two elected officials discussing how to use CA election law in their favor; as the one official had received 149% of the required signatures per a formula used by CA SOS.
I responded to a comment that they were ignorant and using Trump math. I pointed out that if you only need 100 signatures and get 149, you got 149% of the signatures you needed. I think telling them that they need more MAGA set them off.
Mathematics
Algebra
Geometry
Arithmetic
I also pointed out that the source for their information is a self described “comedian” suffering from TDS, and an obvious personality disorder as “they” “only want to have open, respectful mutual conversations!”
The commies go by shasta exposed on the eff’ng unsocial network if you want to say hi.
We lost our Congressman Doug LaMalfa I found out this morning and still in shock. I spend hours in his Redding office shooting the ——, and talking wolves 🐺
CALPERS wasted no time in announcing their new DEI overlord. Department Public Health calls their DEI overlord, the Health Equity Officer. I wonder if they revert to DEI title too?
We have a bunch of chairs to drop off at the dog park Democrat chair circle…..with the Wolverine permanently affixed by stencil and spray paint.
The demons make up 0.04 percent of Shasta but have the press and make lots of noise. They get upset when they brag about a couple hundred people at No Kings protest and I multiply by 5, and give them 500 attendees. Using covid math, and just Redding’s population of 95,000. 94,500 people of Redding’s population didn’t give a $#%! about their pity party.
Birmingham and Montgomery in deep red Alabama
💯 Barbs! Spent better part of my life in those two cities.
Most are aware of corruption existing in larger cities like Chicago but from personal experience/knowledge, Montgomery is hub for corruption and often overlooked. A tight, corrupt good ole boy system like no other.
While visiting last year, it was astonishing to see how far Birmingham had fallen over last twenty years. It’s dirty and decaying. Very sad to see.
Montgomery has been sad to see my entire life.
Have friends living in Montgomery ‘burbs, but they moved there from Memphis ‘burbs so in their view just more of the same.
Memphis, twenty years ago, was also a great city. Breaks my heart.
Make American Cities Great Again.
They have proved beyond any reasonable doubt that we pay way too much in taxes for this amount of fraud to go on. Enough America!
Blondi gets NO CREDIT from me until there are arrests and imprisonment
I doubt Idaho has much fraud in comparison to other states (Boise and Twin Falls are the only two blue areas in the state, kept in check by the a sea of red). Still, I’m sure there will need to be a “clean up in aisle 6.”
Fortunately, I believe our State AG Raul Labrador is up to the task (the only state-elected Republican official who is truly MAGA; the Governor, Lt. Governor, etc., are all RINOs).
How many states will they find? Fifty. Just keep looking.
Yes, and don’t levae out the territories, like Puerto Rico, Samoa, etc. I’m sure there is similar activity in those places, perhaps even more so since they are kind of “out of sight, out of mind.”
I also think it’s time for Trump to appoint an Anti-fraud Czar along the lines of Tom Homan: doesn’t need to be approved by Senate, just needs to be a true wolverine that stops for nothing.
I hope Indiana is on that list.
I’m fairly certain that our Attorney General (Todd Rokita) would support such an audit.
I’m equally certain that almost all of the other Professional Republicans (former and current) in Indiana, at both the State and county level, would be equally opposed to such an audit.
I’m also dead certain that most GOP voters in Indiana would be shocked to the core to see what such an audit would reveal. Sad.
Texas has stepped up.
The best thing about the Trump presidencies is that for the first time many Americans are becoming aware of the deep corruption, and seeing it for themselves, within all levels of government.
Ohio and DeWine.
Money from Wexner? Really? Then Trump showed up and Wexner registered as an Independent.
Austin TX comes to mind, a liberal bastion along with Dallas and Houston. Paxton would go after any and all.
Yep. Go Buckeyes!
Developing: Lt. Michael Byrd Who Shot Ashli Babbitt Dead on Jan. 6, 2021 in Cold Blood, Runs an ‘Unaccredited’ Day-Care Center in Maryland at His Home and Has Pocketed $190 Million in HHS Funds
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/01/developing-lt-michael-byrd-who-shot-ashli-babbitt/
It’s a disgrace to our judicial system that mr. byrd literally got away with murder. And of course it would not be at all shocking to discover that he has committed fraud.
Surprised?
Pay off
Was wondering how this murderer was paid off. Criminally clever to hide the pay-off in an unexpected account.
[Reason number #1, that DOGE has been impeded was NOT the money … DOGE identifies: trails, processes, entities, networks and names.]
I have lived in the Peoples Republic of Maryland since the early 1980s and it’s a super corrupt state. The fraud is probably worse than Minnesota. Also the high population counties are full of 3rd World types. Illegals are through the roof.
I’m in Hanover right this moment and can verify everything you say is true. This place is a hell hole.
Yes, I know the Hanover area.
Used to live in Annapolis. Years ago the Eastern Shore (except OC) and anything south of Annapolis was pretty much “good ole boys” with typical southern-style corruption. But now southern Md has been largely pulled into the DC orbit. I remember when Waldorf was a sleepy little town — not anymore. La Plata, back when gambling/slots was a thing, was its own world.
This is not true. It is true Bird and his wife operated an “unaccredited” day care since 2008 but the amount mentioned was for all the state. Reread. I had to multiple times. It is hard to hide that kind of money when you are fighting bankruptcy, as Bird has/is. Besides, he’s not Somali only a murderer.
Good catch on the Dollar Amount but the fact still remains he was being paid off by an HHS Grant. His inability to manage money is just an incidental side story.
He’s playing Monopoly-share the wealth, get out of jail free.
Agree, but me thunks that $ figure may also be a wee bit low for the entire state total of day care payments for 17 years.
$190,000,000 for one year maybe?
For additional information….
Just for fun I looked up the number of Home Daycares (up to 8 children) and Large Home Daycares (9-12 children) in the state of Maryland. Current(?) 2025 records (through the Marylandpublicschools.org site) show 4,083 of them.
That figure does not include private or Nonprofit Daycare Centers.
You gotta be careful with TGP. I go there every day — it’s the only place you’ll read some things, but honestly Jim Hoft isn’t a very good writer and I’m also not sure how bright he really is. He will really butcher some things and it’s a good idea to go read his sources that he links. Sometimes he completley mis-interprets them.
Now the folks that write the articles under the byline Gateway Hispanic are really good writers, obviously intelligent and clear.
I quit TGP when I, thankfully, found CTH in 2013. It wasn’t a good place to get information.
Overall the writing there is poor. Articles are often missing important and relevant information, and seem to only exist for clicks. The basic who, where, what, why, and how is severely lacking. Many times they give a city or county and no state.
There’s a couple of writers that use vague clickbait headlines and their articles are hard to read & follow. They use extraneous adjectives for added “drama,” which is distracting and many times I have to abandon reading the article due to its lack of professionalism.
And then there are the spelling & grammatical errors… lol There was one yesterday with three typos in the first sentence.
Its really irritating when they write about a social media post- they’ll write about it, put a screenshot of it, then type it out verbatim. The same thing is presented three times.
Even with all of that, I still go there as they do seem have decent sources of things going on. Just need to be very discerning when going there and validate the information elsewhere.
I read somewhere, He was a foreign immigrant from a violent corrupt Country who worked as a Capitol Police officer and became a citizen at some point. If true, how does a foreigner get hired at our WH and allowed to carry a gun? Probably under Obammys administration anyway…
That’s over $11,000,000 per year for an unlicensed home daycare for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.
I believe for that age bracket the maximum children allowed would be 8 children. That would work out to about $1,400,000 per child per year.
I think the story might have reported this $$$ figure incorrectly, at least I damn sure hope so!
See above comments. That’s total for MD, not Byrd personally. TGP headline is incorrect.
I did, thank you.
Question I have is do you really think having a gov’t “license” makes a day care site better? I don’t care about “license”, I care about what service is actually provided.
Did Joe Biden’s autopen give blanket pardon for all possible crimes committed by Bird as was done for Hunter?
Sorry I do not believe he received 190 million. That story is not correct and should not have been posted. I do believe scumbag Byrd received money but not 190 million.
Byrd is a scumbag and gateway pundit is click bate.
Doesn’t look like any “day-care center” to me. It’s yet another front for democrat money laundering.
Pritzker and Newsome to Walz: Thanks knucklehead!
If this is done right, should put a damper on the presidential aspirations of Pritzker and Newsom. Can you imagine the campaign ads the Republicans could come up with in 2028 (assuming they have the backbone)?? I’m thinking that it will also discourage any weakling wanna-be-president Republican governors who will be coming under the fraud microscope and found to be delinquent (no more Mitt Romneys at the head of the ticket or Paul Ryans as #2 on the ticket (and he really was a #2)).
Lots of potential upsides to these fraud revelations…..
Democrats have a lifetime of canpaign ads from the past 12 months that would dwarf anything Republicans could come up with.
Yep. That’s why the airwaves are covered…oh wait, Nevermind, that’s utterly senseless.
You’re not good at this. Try harder.
<chuckles>
I go back to an analogy I made years ago during PDJT 1. Attacking Democratic crime and fraud is like piloting an icebreaker in the Antarctic. It does not matter where and how you start, how big or how small – as long as you are keep steering into the ice, you will make progress very quickly. In this case it was Minnesota Somalis, but it could have been crime statistics, homelessness, primary education, higher education, any form of business licensing, any form of inspection……it is all equally corrupt and scam-ridden.
Great analogy and we’ll stated.
Steer into the weakest ice first.
A corollary (and sad commentary) is that “it does not matter where and how you start,” the ice is everywhere in all directions and at best the icebreaker is only making small, insignificant cracks in the large expanse of ice.
The scope and extent of blue-state and left-wing corruption, be it voter fraud, vote harvesting, fake daycares or whatever is just mind-numbing.
Another corollary is that if you don’t completely eliminate or severely impact the volume of the ice it will simply refreeze once you’ve moved along.
Blammo!
Only $10 billion?
Last reported in Minnesota, the figure of $9 billion was given as the very likely underestimated amount for this particular fraud. I would be shocked if this number was in any way accurate.
And we’re talking about only one state…
Easy to understand how U.S. achieved $38T debt. Rampant fraud and corruption.
How many billions is it going to take to rid this country of illegals. This doesn’t account for what it has taken to cover their expenses and fraud.
💯
That is what is so infuriating. We borrow the money which funds the fraud.
‘Yes, Indeedy!’
The last I read or heard in Minnesota was almost $19 Billion, at least half of which was fraudulent.
Just think of all the other federal, state, and community programs, grants, and etc. in all 50 states and territories. It is mind boggling how little over site, effective guardrails, audits, and adherence to the law there is.
And we certainly don’t need another gazillion laws, rules, and regulations to fix it–That will only add more layers of complexity and inability to understand, regulate, and detect fraud. What we need is less complexity and regulations while streamlining effective, efficient , and timely enforcement of processes and laws.
Ah, but alas, that means actually having, effective, and intelligent representation with integrity and ‘strong moral fiber’ in the people we elect to govern us as well as in our general populace itself. We be a wee bit lacking in those areas!
Just my off the cuff two cents worth.
9.75 billion here, a few more billion there – pretty soon we’ll be talking about real money.
Much, much more than $9.75B, it looks like.
2000 agents, hopefully 1,900 of them aren’t about to become suspiciously wealthy and selectively blind. There’s billions in bribery money there for the taking, and let’s be honest: these agents are all government workers.
My black pill cynicism says they’ll bust a few of the smallest fish, say Mission Accomplished, and take the money and run.
Unless these agents are 100% new, high-trust MAGA hires. Which is doubtful.
Take it all back. We all know this is a fraction of the corruption that has been going on for decades.
Massive flows of unregulated and untracked cash invite a criminal element to take advantage of that flow to launder and legitimize their illegally made cash. This huge flow of taxpayer cash is no different. The fraud may actually be a cover.
HHS should conduct forensic audits of the NGO’s that received the taxpayer cash, but also conduct audits of every organization they paid it out to. I suspect when they look at the orgs they paid it to they may find more money flowing OUT of those organizations than was paid to them by the NGOs. Magic money from nowhere, freshly laundered. And if they are particularly sloppy, the NGOs themselves may even have more money going out than they have records of taking in.
“Unregulated and untracked cash …”
As shocking as it was to those of us who imagined we were still living in the USA at the time, I think you’ve just explained why the Kenyan felt comfortable sending pallets of hard cash to Iran in the middle of the night with no congressional oversight.
There’s also the matter of the RQ-170 drone that was downed in Iran that they recovered.
And what comes to mind…we were surveilled for $600 of banking?
The criminal element you mention is better known as “congress.”
“This is a smart approach because releasing the funds will be contingent upon the states accepting the audits. We all know that genuine audits of those state records will likely reveal massive fraud within the subsidy system that has been abused by Democrats. Minnesota has provided the entry point for a much larger corruption and fraud review.”
Sundance is correct.
However, I cannot begin to imagine it can get that far.
Every corrupt judge in the entire country will try to find a way to block any and all audits and require immediate release of the funds.
I’d think the judge shopping began the moment the states were informed of this.
Boasberg smiles…..
Especially Federal Judges located at the Sub-District Levels, that have district boundaries which just happen to align well with the Democrat Run population bastions nationwide.
“Lessons Leared!”
PDJT
Oh the Love of Money. Fraud and grift have become the way of the world.
If you’re not taking part in it, if you’re honest, working yourself to the bone and dutifully paying your taxes, you are a sucker.
What a shitty feeling.
there is a certain kind of emotional and spiritual security that one experiences with doing the right thing, all the time, DESPITE the ugly wicked world around you.
being faithful doesn’t mean you have to live under a bridge down by the river, but it also demands that you avoid the temptations to sell out for a buck.
being rich has nothing to do with money in my opinion. This world might have you believe otherwise, but it just isn’t so.
as the Bible makes it crystal clear, it is easier to pass a camel through the eye of a needle, than a man who loves money to enter heaven.
Jesus said that. He was not mincing words. He made it clear that one of the most dangerous habits that can destroy your soul is to make money and object of your life.
Living well, is good enough…nothing more, nothing less.
noting: the reason why somali fraud in Minnesota happened can be explained many different ways, but fundamentally a godless society, a godless culture, knows no limits to moral or ethical behavior. Somali’s simply get the prize, because they make it so obvious just how very little they even acknowledge Christian Values. They attach themselves to a type of islamism that urges them and calls them to defraud all and anything they can…1) to elevate their own status and hold power 2) to destroy the economic base and political party that does not share a caliphate idea.
basically, this kind of fraud is what Jesus was warning about. It’s not about the money. It’s about what the love of money can do to a persons’ soul. Islamism by its nature assumes a completely different view: take all of it, by any means necessary. Because “infidels”!
we must stop pretending we are not dealing with Satan here in the US. Satan is very much a part of Islamism and anyone who refuses to accept Christianity and the values and principles like basic animals…easily influenced to move and behave in a way that attempts to humiliate the human soul and thus attempts to prove God was wrong.
God IS NOT WRONG. I don’t understand why Satan is allowed to have this kind of influence, and it’s been a very hard thing for me to wrap my head around…But I faithful to God’s words, and regardless that I cannot know some of the most difficult things, what is clear to me is that WE ARE IN A WAR BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL.
I know which side I want to be, when HE RETURNS. And even if that never happens in my lifetime, I will never allow myself to have money control my decisions and my moral character.
God Bless America
AMEN!!!
Only 5 states ?
What about the other 45 ?
Ohio Dewhine already gave proof positive that “Republican” states are involved along with Mayors of cities that own property rented to Haitians by the thousands.
It’s in every single state
Exactly why they need to appoint an Anti-Fraud Czar….
I think that was supposed to be Elon, but they burned his cyber trucks…
Government Czars are appointed to cover things up.
They sure as heck better start investigating and prosecuting this guy!

Freeze it to all states.
Well .. I am shocked, SHOCKED I SAY, that My state of WA. has (so far) escaped the wrath of OBM.. tis a pity, what with that feckless idiot of an ass. a g opening his lie-hole .. making threats to pursue citizen journalists in pursuit of openess.
I totally agree with you.
While that WA AG is a raging moron his boss, the vote by mail fraud governor is even worse.
Oh, I most definitely concur .. aaand, not to be outdone .. former $kyblu In$lee, who, natch .. relocust-cated next door .. to Boise! Oh, the irony in THAT!
Read a story a while back where some local Idaho contractors refused to do work at his house. Lol
And the fraud goes beyond the states list. Michael Byrd, the DC cop accused of killing Ashley Babbitt has been caught running an unaccredited day care center from his house, with his wife, since 2008 and receiving $190 million dollars for the scheme. He lives in another blue controlled state, Maryland.
I wish they would include VA,,,of course, with gov ziploc, gaza and ol’ double tap, it will be hard, and in most blue dot cities, like richmond, fairfax, portsmouth, roanoke,,,,,damn near impossible,,,,,,roanoke’s mayor, known as mayor bowtie, was part of the city council that misplaced 5 million dollars, and just absolutely lost 4 million dollars that even the audit couldn’t find,,,,mayor bowtie is now on gov ziploc’s transition team for affordable housing,,,,,,,and roanoke is tops per capita in murders and homelessness
I suppose there’s no clawing back the millions sent to Somalia to fund terrorists. It would be lovely to see though.
Dear Mr. President: Could you please squeeze in Washington state as well?
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Freeze ALL Federal funding for ANY state that refuses to corroborate with ongoing ICE operations…..
Watch them squirm….
FORCE returning any funding for FRAUD to the US Treasury….
ONLY restart funding after a completed audit of 10 years and reported to the Congress….
WANT TO BREAK THIER BACKS?
There you are….
NO MERCY!
Good news! Now if they would only add New Mexico to that list. It is a cess pool here.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2026/01/developing-lt-michael-byrd-who-shot-ashli-babbitt/
I read this and have no words only a burning rage that will not be tamed until true Justice is served…
My apologies,I posted before reading the thread. The fact that Jim Croft is looking for clicks did not enter my mind, the rage is still there though…. Justice is a dish best served cold.
Some welfare folk about to get the gun owner treatment.
Except they are the true domestic threat…..
I would love to see Massachusetts and Maine on that list!
Fraud=The warmth of collectivism
Thank you, Trump administration! Minnesota badly needs the wake-up call.
I hope this means the fed auditors will get the SNAP recipient info that Brooke Rollins asked for, and the Dem states refused to provide. I think it was about half of the states that refused to provide this data. This could show a lot of fraud (dead people, 115-yo’s, etc).
In a recent cabinet meeting, Brooke mentioned that they are incentivizing those state SNAP waivers that remove candy and soda from EBT approved items. I can’t remember if FDA is actually stopping the fed payments to states who don’t do the waiver, or if it was a carrot method where they give something extra to states who do the waiver. Anyway, she said that the incentive was working, as a bunch of states stepped up to do the SNAP waiver.
Please do Washington state as well.
Knowing the audits will uncover fraud…what is the next step? Indictments…prosecutions…what is the venue? the states where the crime is committed or Federal?
Get ready for a hard Dem and media pushback saying that by freezing the accounts…the poor…mostly minorities will suffer. Republicans don’t care etc.
Need to be prepared for a strong response…
When this much money is available for stealing, it becomes a “Murder on the Orient Express” kind of thing. (Spoiler alert …) “Everybody did it.” The highest public officials, plenty of members of the legislature, officials throughout the departments which are tasked with administering the programs. There was “gobs of money” to be stolen, and none of them were minding their own store, and everyone had an incentive not to, so this went on for many years and everybody was happy.
But, I must also say that we will find plenty of corruption within HHS and DHS, as well. Something this big does not happen, and continue happening for many years (no doubt …), without someone at the Federal level having good cause to be suspicious. The fact that no one investigated things at this level, either, has exactly the same root cause. It has now been exposed to the public, and this is the only reason why they are beginning to react now.
“The love of money is the root of all evil.”
I’ll make bet commiefornia tops the list for the amount of money fraudulently expended.
Number One with a Bullet
Train.
(track not included)
Just keep looking. Human nature does not change . . .
First the USAID money.
Then the Maduro Money.
Now the SomaliCare funding.
ruh-roh!
It is NOT ENOUGH TO CUT THE FUNDING…
The money needs to be PAID BACK to the U.S. Treasury… AND
Those committing the fraud need to be prosecuted ! ! ALL OF THE SCOUNDRELS ! !
Democrat appointed Federal Judge says, “Hold my beer “.
Who are the facilitators?
People familiar with the mechanisms involved in setting up NGO’s, transferring large sums of money in various directions.
But.. what about the BABIES!!.. all those poor, starving INVISIBLE babies!!
/sarc
We The People should demand repeal of the Federal Income tax to stop funding Federal government social services paid with our coerced tax payments. The States are capable to run, regulate, and tax themselves; and to run their own social services programs. At the least, State programs isolate fraud to that State, paid from its own citizens’ taxes. Better yet, let actual charities do it: forced charity paid from taxes, is redistribution and theft.
“Demand”? How about you just stop paying taxes?
How would you propose preventing the Feds from garnishing your wages and seizing your property and financial accounts for unpaid income taxes anyway?
Cue the Federal bench to allow payment, and……around we go.
It’s not just childcare. Group homes in MN, adult daycare, also get payments. The management company of one in my neighborhood has collected about $60 million dollars for budget year 2021 through 2026 for 19 current properties. At least one of the properties is valued at $500k.
If I calculate correctly that’s at least $45,000 per property per month. The homes typically have 3-4 resident capacity and some are foster care, according to the MN license site.
Does it really cost $10,000 a month per person for non medical supervisory care? Anyone can look up payments by going to https://mn.gov/mmb/transparency-mn/
Does it really cost $10,000 a month per person for non medical supervisory care?
Silly rabbit . . .
We did not get to 38 trillion without there being trillions in fraud. Its not mismanagement it is theft.
Congress is to blame; how many countless (OVERSIGHT) committee hearings have we seen, say the last 50 years. Folks all of those in congress are bought and paid for!
“Its not mismanagement it is theft.”
It’s both.
Tip of the iceberg.
Now switch from freezing the funding to killing the funding.
Social welfare programs may have started with a good intention, but it’s so obvious now that the whole thing is a giant scam.
Kill them all and see who really needs assistance and bring back a tiny fraction of the spending to help those truly in need.
Hope our Trump Administration can indeed shut off the rampant, wide open and unsecured spigot of welfare fraud in Minnesota as well as all our other states who have turned a blind eye to this unconscionable theft.
Am thinking how this stolen money could have helped so many needy Americans, not only our children but I know so many seniors in my state who are desperately struggling simply to survive as our energy, food costs and most especially housing/rents have skyrocketed beyond imagining over the past 4-5 years, and even a small bump up in their Social Security using those stolen funds would have made a real difference in their dignity and quality of life.
Hey President Trump freeze funding to DC as well! The corruption is there too!!!
With all the fraud being detected, and it can only be the tip of the iceberg so far, the number of qualified auditors and prosecutors must be running very low, at least among those who are willing to actually do their jobs regardless of how many leftists are identified behind the frauds. This is one area of federal employment that may have a legitimate reason to grow in numbers.
This would be a great time for President Trump to do away altogether with all these federally funded programs. At our 250th birthday, pressure CONgress to pass legislation to stop all illegal taxation. Wasn’t taxation without representation the catalyst that prompted the founding of our Constitution Republic?
Well, we need to do it again.
As a homeowner in Illinois, I welcome this.
Yes!
These states need to pay the US tax payer back.
One would hope there will be serious prosecution of those at the top with massive jail time. And I mean the Democrat, elected official, “public servants”. Getting the money back may be a forlorn hope as the loot was probably hustled out of the country as fast as their greedy paws got hold of it.
Consequences and justice are needed as much as the funds returned.
more cost effective to denaturalize and deport…. taxpayers will b on the hook to pay for the incarceration of all somali freeloader criminals… send them home!
Wood and rope aren’t expensive. I’m 100% sure there would be plenty of highly skilled construction people willing to volunteer their time to build some scaffolding.
out of the country and into swiss accounts
They’re all bankrupt. That’s why CONgress created all of these no accountability slush funds to bail them out.
State politicians, bureaucrats, family members, involved in not auditing/ reviewing/ profiting from this should be personally sued into poverty and jailed.
Chris Murphy right now, hoping CT is overlooked 👀👀👀👀
Don’t forget “red” Ohio. Gov Mikey is probably p–ing his pants at this point! He’s been my least-favorite Republican since the 90s!
My Gov, Mike DeWeeb, the epitome of a RINO.
Yeah, I saw that Gov Mikey said that the fraud was “just a cost of doing business”. Great attitude there. He obviously doesn’t give a rip about fraud. He’s no different than any other blue state.
Remember during Covid, Cryin Mike was on television everyday. Now…..nowhere to be seen!
I hate what has happened to “home;” orn and raised in Youngstown. It’s why I joined Navy. I don’t live there anymore but it’s still my home, where I’m from, and this son if a broken steel man is darn proud of that.
The Democrat Socialists (aka American Commies) have been permitted to infect everything.
Reparations for the voters? We have been attacked by the left…
Pay down the deficit.
I won’t be alive by the time that they solely finish paying off the deficit. My 45 years (so far) of paying taxes should allow me some sort of reparations before I die.
Wouldn’t that be a great refund?
Bob Thomas -> “These states need to pay the US tax payer back.”
The states should not get off with a free ride. But.. consider:
The only well these states have to draw water from is their productive people.
We need to hammer the enablers and everyone that profited from the scam.
That’s individuals working with the authority of government like politicians, judges, investigators, and the political donors and their parties. All their associates. Take their ill gotten property and imprison them. Make it painful for all.
The worst justice would be to make Timbecile the whipping boy whilst everyone else keeps the loot.
The second worst justice just might be to financially punish the state government because we all know who they will collect from. It won’t be their friends.
Agree with you 💯% !!
Spot on, Stroke. Newsom won’t care one bit about the federal money withheld from CA because of the loot the Democrats are laundering for themselves from the federal money that’s supposed to be allocated for “charitable organizations.” Newsom and his Democrat Supermajority will just raise more money from the taxpaying citizenry in the state. They’re not about to give up their golden goose scam unless they smell the slamming of a prison door coming. With a swamp clown like AG Bondi in position at the DOJ they probably know they’re in the clear. What kind of indictments will there ever be? Maybe some small, low lying fruit, like Somali pirates, but will they ever go after the Kingpins?
Heavenly Father, we pray You will intervene in the pervasive corruption and deception in our government. We pray You will bring us the courageous Patriots needed to clean out the criminal ringleaders and help us to right our ship so that we continue to be a light of freedom and hope in the world. Please protect President Trump from our enemies, foreign and domestic. Please open his eyes to Your wisdom, discernment, and guidance. Please thwart our enemy’s plans and let them fall into their own traps they set. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
How about lets round up all who voted to install “vouch voting” in MN to steal elections. And let’s round up the Biden scum who installed all of the purposely easy to defraud federal programs. They might as well have used heavy machinery to bulldoze piles of money out of the country. This had to have been the plan to bring about chaos.
fat chance. with what?
they’d have to rob us again to pay us back. its all been wasted.
It is a weird, weird thing about Democratic Socialists and plain old still-in-the-closet Communists and “patriotic millionaires” like Abigail Disney who take umbrage at people using their own property, their own earnings for stuff . . . and yet, NO concern about the American taxpayer money being plundered by thieves for Somalian learing centers and various other NGO’s across the fruited plain.
It is becoming glaringly obvious that if the American government has THAT much money in the coffers, maybe we need to cut way back on the amount of money being paid by Americans for taxes.
If Jeff Bezos has enough money to do that rocket stuff, I am good with that. Personally, I love Amazon because it provides excellent service.
Jeff Bezos spent his own money for the BlueOrigin rocket launch with his then-fiancee, Lauren Sanchez as well as Katy Perry and other gals in this all-women space team.
Wikipedia info re space team on Blue Origin NS-31:
Blue Origin NS-31 was a sub-orbital spaceflight operated by Blue Origin as part of New Shepard, the company’s space tourism program. The flight took place on April 14, 2025, and lasted 10 minutes and 21 seconds. The flight carried all female passengers and was organized by journalist Lauren Sánchez, the then-fiancée of Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos. She was joined by Aisha Bowe, Kerianne Flynn, Gayle King, Amanda Nguyen and Katy Perry
“If Jeff Bezos has THAT much money left over to do THAT, he is making too much money.” Outrage was expressed, that Jeff Bezos was using his own money for that adventure in space for his fiancee. A group calling itself “Patriotic Millionaires” was really disturbed about the money Mr. Bezos spent on his wedding in Venice, as well.
I wonder if “Patriotic Millionaires” will seriously push to see to it that this plundering and thievery of American taxpayer money will be thoroughly investigated and prosecuted. When any rational person observes these billions of dollars being stolen and how much that same money would mean to honest, hard-working families, it seems that it should be an ultimate priority to resolve this.
The federal budget as well as state, county and city budgets are obviously getting too much money from taxpayers if the “budget keepers” can be so lackadaisical about the stewardship of that money.
