The case led to 78 indictments and 57 convictions. Defendants included Abdiwahab Ahmed Mohamud, Ahmed Ali, Hussein Farah, Abdullahe Nur Jesow, Asha Farhan Hassan, Ousman Camara, and Abdirashid Bixi Dool, each charged for roles ranging from wire fraud to money laundering and conspiracy.
These criminals didn’t just engaged in historic fraud, but tried to subvert justice as well. Abdimajid Mohamed Nur and others were charged for attempting to bribe a juror with $120,000 in cash. Those responsible pleaded guilty and were sentenced, including a 10-year prison term and nearly $48 million in restitution in related cases.
The FBI believes this is just the tip of a very large iceberg. We will continue to follow the money and protect children, and this investigation very much remains ongoing.

Just tried searching for someone I saw on facebook who works for the state and had a large group of fellow employees, from multiple departments, who banded together to get this lawlessness before the public.

The money came from the federal government. One would think they have safeguards in place to stop this sort of thing. It should be illegal to not be able to trace down every penny. The IRS Local police and the FBI demand from businesses every day receipts for transactions that can date back 7 years possibly more 7 is the IRS legal responsibility. When a huge fraud like this happens they cant trace the $$$$$ it is all smoke and mirrors. Every cent is sent thru a computer transaction and is definately traceable. They wont trace it is more than likely.

one of the big issues is that many of the govt’s software systems do not “speak” to one another, making it impossible for the govt’s left hand to know what the right hand is doing. DOGE has worked on this, but much more work is needed to combine these systems so cross-tracking fraud, corruption, etc is possible and seamless…

Something occurred to me last week with regard to all the phony day/child care centers.
Remember back around or after the C00f there was that Payroll Protection Program?
Maybe it was run through the SBA Small Business Administration?
Seems like back during 2022 and 2023 they were doling out money hand over fist?
And then there was that Loan Forgiveness Program, too?
When I got on the site map for my county and surrounding counties back then I recall seeing a bunch of day/child care businesses and I remember thinking at the time that I’d never seen nor heard of the majority of those businesses.
So, how far back do these bogus child care businesses go?
Would looking on the site maps help locate existing fake businesses or show the names of potential culprits?
The businesses could be looked up by city, county, and zip code.
I don’t recall the websites that posted that info.
Hope someone like Krash screen-sh0tted or downloaded that data; it might actually come in handy.

If you read closely it says,
“Employees of residential facilities may vouch for an UNLIMITED number of facility residents.”
This is legal.
This is Minnesota law.
Which means that there *should* be a paper trail of every single one of these vouching forms.
How many persons serve as vouchers each election? What is the number of persons for each voucher? Do these vouchers show up every single election?
We need to begin submitting Data Practices Requests to the Minnesota Secretary of State.
