Today at 4:30pm ET President Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth will be making an announcement. The president and secretary are expected to make the announcement from Palm Beach, Florida in regard to a shipbuilding initiative. Livestream Links Below:

I’ll be watching intently…
I find press conferences about shipbuilding to be riveting 🙂
Riveting 😂😂😂
Trump Class Ships!!!! Outstanding
Yes! Spending money that we don’t have to take more foreign oil!! Well done Trump! /s
Is much better than welding, experts say the Edmund Fitzgerald broke up in the storm due to Welds being weaker than Rivets in the construction of the ship.
Just sayin
No, welding is superior to riveting. If the welds failed, then the welds were poor and substandard.
Engineer in metals; second your statement. Welds structurally vastly superior to rivets.
The problem arises when the metal is weaker than the weld.
A problem can also arise due to hydrogen embrittlement caused by the welding – that’s why welding is such an art.
We can do it, said Rosie.
And the welds are Xrayed to provide safety. Been there, done that, at Ingalls Shipyard.
Especially when we weld like no one has ever welded before.
True the adjoining metal tends to be weakened by the heat.
I have welded many farm implements and have the metal crack leaving the weld intact.
The application of weld vs rivet in that era,the rivet seems to have been superior in that construction.
I thought the Edmund Futzgerald went down because one or more hatch covers failed, but I haven’t seen the latest nees since it has been imaged.
The Fitz bottomed out on six fathom shoal near caribou island.
The ship sank due to overloading..aka..Greed

This is why l mentioned it
Please don’t sing that song.
I’ll never get it out of my head.
Just as long as you don’t find them to be sinking.
Then you should be welded to your seat wordman
I saw what you did there….
uplifting and buoying
As long as the sailors find that 30 yards of shore line.
quit trying to make waves, I will coast in the wake.
That’s a hull of a good word play!
I see what you did there and vote that you receive the Comment of The Day Award!
When is the corrupt gov’t officials going to prison or executed ship going to sail?
Unfortunately…..

You beat me to it. Never, ever, ever.
We will not be able to vote our way out of the current illusion of ‘freedom’, and the deep-state corruption of our government and their globalist masters.
So what is your Plan B? Please describe in detail.
Not sure about Robin’s, but mine is:
1. Nullify Fed Govt for unconstitutional overreach
2. Stop sending payroll taxes to D.C.
3. Deny the right to ALL Fed officials to operate in our Counties and States
4. Confiscate all Fed property within The Several States
5. Begin making Trade and Security agreements with like minded States
6. Prepare
You make a good point RobinPA.
Some suggest:
We are in a state of mass illusion now, created and maintained by a supra-powerful veiled cabal behind the apparent cabals.
Managing perceptions while the west is being managed down as part of global shift underway.
Illusion: America the land of the free.
Reality: Surveillance/police state control systems are being completed to augment the debt servitude system America runs on, stepping toward authoritarianism.
Illusion: Trump has triumphed over DIE.
Reality: Decades of profound nation-crippling “equity” is baked in and cannot be remedied.
Illusion: Trump is making America Great Again.
Reality: Industry is the key to strength, and America ceded its industry to China, it cannot regain its former post-WWII strength now – with DIE incompetence at all levels including education, and China controlling strategic supply chain with cost and availability America simply cannot compete with.
Illusion: Trump is going to achieve an impenetrable Golden Dome, military dominance including dozens of new ships and millions of fully autonomous weapons, and a moon landing in 2 years.
Reality: Beyond risible.
Illusion: The pandemic and shots were an unfortunate result of basic unavoidable bureaucratic incompetence, regulatory capture, and simple greed, and the damages weren’t that bad, let’s move on.
Reality: It was a preplanned program to pilot global authoritarian controls while deploying a mass attrition bioweapon causing permanent degradation to the peoples of the west mainly. (The genetic manipulation shots were deployed on the west ONLY.)
Illusion: Scrappy Ukraine is preventing evil Russia from a blitzkrieg attack conquering Europe. Trump is a master statesman who is surpassing previous efforts toward peace.
Reality: Trump could have stopped the war on January 20 by simply ceasing all support. Ukraine is a pawn being used to further drain the US and EU, accelerate the splitting of non-western nations centered on nascent hegemon China into a bloc with no need for the west, keep the people in fear, and set the stage for the EU to fall on its own sword fighting Russia when the US withdraws.
I haven’t read this referenced piece yet, since I ran into and am perusing this (later) thread first. If I find Sundance’s argument convincing (and he is usually *very* convincing) then this Patriot is going full Galt. My plan is to turn it all off and turn away for at least a good period of time.
If the traitors aren’t rolled up and genuine accountability dished out then I am not convinced that anything else matters. All of his programs are going to be immediately reversed in spades and in short order after they (the dirty Dems, globalists, and uniparty milquetoasts) steal another election. He will try via Executive Order on voting to prevent another steal, but I don’t believe any of it works without a reckoning for the traitors.
What a letdown (though the hopium was always sort of a forced emotion, perhaps). I will finish reading the comments here and then solemnly click and scroll to the piece above. :c|
Two weeks.
Tick, tock
Victor Davis Hanson had a podcast the other day about this and he said the MAGA base is getting really pissed off about no convictions. When is PDJT going to give Blondie and Cashew Nut the BOOT?
And replace with whom?
Rubio. Seriously, next man up. Or woman. These institutions won’t grind to a halt without the #1 being in place.
It’s a puzzle, and you don’t have the pieces.
Replace with the Team he originally won with.
Yes there will be wailing and nasty Media Hits..
But all this was to be expected.
If there were not wailing and nasy media hits, it would mean we are losing in place.
Exactly, there will be no convictions. The MAGA base better get wise to how dc operates and accept it. I despise it as much as anybody. This is the trouble you get into when the “central” government gets too big, overbearing and obnoxious. The 4th branch is now very solidly entrenched, and these hoaxers are part of that branch.
Gaetz
LOL, he needs a 747 to carry all of his baggage.
PDJT gave Vance and Rubio shoes.
So boots could be next.
Truthfully, as much as Kashew nut preens about in expensive suits, could there be an easier way to insult him?
Not….in our lifetime.
You’ll have to tune in to Hannity to find out 🙂
LOL
True Justice is eternal. For that I pity them.
Here are two good quotes:
“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.” –Desmond Tutu
“The first duty of society is justice.” –Alexander Hamilton
Imo, without justice, the so-called elites will not ever change their behavior.
Prefer the later!
Maybe this is what it is until Jesus’s return. I agree same thing, Get them out and new blood in that will do the job!
No Bill Barr Repeats!
Going out on a limb that the announcement will be in part about a new FFG program that is based on the National Security Cutter used by the Coast Guard.
From the first time I set eyes on the USCGC Bertholf sailing with her off the coast of San Diego (I was on a destroyer testing some cool stuff) I was absolutely amazed. I told myself back then…self the USN could use them to replace the retiring FFGs.
I for one fully support this move, for what it’s worth.
They are absolutely stunning ships. And my daughter now an ex coastie loved them.
We’ll hear about those details during the conference I’m sure.
https://www.twz.com/sea/this-will-be-the-navys-new-ffx-frigate
Looking like a new FFG(X) derivative of the Coast Guard’s Legend class instead of the proposed Constellation Class based on the Franco-Italian FREMM design.
I heard it was about a new Battleship
I thought battleships were proven obsolete during WWII by propeller driven air power.
I can’t imagine any ship in 2025 withstanding hypersonic missile targeting.
Modern Threats to Carriers (and Battleships)
These systems form part of anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) strategies designed to keep carriers out of contested regions like the South China Sea or near Taiwan.
The new game is drones….swarms … connected in a system in which each drone acts independently.
No more of this central control BS. (so old school)
Think flocks of birds.
There is no one Master. But as a Team they are unbeatable.

Thnx for this link! Everyone should see what this group is doing to reveal the staggering extent of leftist electoral corruption in our country.

No Secretary of State is willing to use this quantum computing technology to clean voter rolls and cross reference with Property Tax data bases.
Deeply distressing that .gov and RNC are not willing to face this revealed corruption for fear of biting the hand that feeds.
The RNC won’t do anything because they hate Trump more than they love money. They want him gone.
They hate Trump because of their love of money
I picture a projection of power. The Great White fleet incarnate. I see these off the coasts of S. America poised to lob Tesla-sized projectiles anywhere on that continent.
The USS Trump 🇺🇸
Or as heard on Bannon- USS Defiant
The USS FAFO
Winner, winner, chicken dinner!!
Ought to name the second USS Theodore Roosevelt, just for the motto “speak softly and carry a big stick”.
USS Deplorable
While joking below, Patti, I think USS DEFIANT couldn’t be more perfect.
Bold, masculine, powerful.
(Remembering the USS Harvey Milk…which I wish I didn’t .)

USNS Oscar V Peterson is of course USNS, not USS.
A Navy has two kinds of Ships.
Submarines and Targets.
That is pretty funny, except when the latter is correct.
I can relate to that
You are right Chad Larson. A nuclear submarine can literally sit off the coast of an enemy nation and like The Leviathan from the Bible, rise up from the deep and cause devastation.
Billy Mitchell demonstrated 100 years ago how vulnerable surface ships are to attack by aircraft. A large surface ship will need a lot of protection. … Relatively inexpensive War-Drones under the sea and in the air would be used against our ships. … The newly developed superfast missiles also being developed would be extremely difficult or even impossible to stop.
& It seems every few months or so, a new Chinese Agent is caught stealing secrets from our country. [Even D-Representative Swalwell had Miss Fang, a suspected Chinese Spy snuggling up closely to him.]
All ships are submarines…it’s only a certain class of ship that can come back up.
In 1905, Teddy Roosevelt was the first President to go aboard a submarine, The USS Plunger (heh).
The Courant:
“Near the turn of the century, Theodore Roosevelt was one of very few men whose imagination was stirred by the submarine. In Roosevelt’s day, most European navy men appeared to have an aversion to submarines. Some thought them to be a sneaky and ungentlemanly way of waging war. Others feared the submarine would supplant the primacy of surface ships and threaten their careers. Indeed, the famous submarine inventor of the day, John Holland, bitterly said of them. “The navy doesn’t like submarines because there’s no deck to strut on.” But most of all, naval men considered the submarine a death trap. But such tales did not frighten Teddy Roosevelt. When, just prior to the Spanish-American War, Holland offered his submarine to the Navy, Roosevelt, then assistant secretary of the Navy urged the department to purchase it. However, the navy turned it down. Nevertheless, some months after his coming into the presidency following the assassination of McKinley in 1901, the navy began to take possession of its first submarines with the enthusiastic approval of the new president. Indeed, in 1903, his cabinet had all they could do dissuading him from going down on one of those early submarines at Annapolis. But he had no such cautious advisors on a memorable day at Oyster Bay in August, 1905. And they were right! The submarine had a long and disconcerting history of disasters.
…As the Plunger churned its way through the gale lashed waves, Teddy Roosevelt immersed himself in every detail as he moved about the craft. And it was reported that “He behaved like a delighted school boy over everything he saw.” …
When the Plunger reached its destination in the midst of the Sound, Lt. Nelson gave the order to dive. After the “porpoise” maneuver the Plunger was put into a 45-degree angle dive. Suddenly, at a depth of 20 feet, the electric motor was reversed and the submarine shot backwards to the surface! Following this, the Plunger went down again to make a rapid underwater U-turn. Finally, Nelson ordered the vessel to a depth of 20 feet, extinguished the lights and demonstrated to the President the crew’s ability to control the craft in total darkness.
Fortunately, the Plunger did all that was asked of her when she was entrusted with the life of the President of the United Stated on that stormy Long Island day in 1905. And Roosevelt returned safely to the tender, Apache. He later said of the experience – “Never in my life have I had such a diverting day, nor can I recall having so much enjoyment in so few hours as today.”
Nevertheless, when the President’s advisers heard of the episode on his return to Sagamore Hill, they rushed to take precautions against the public learning of the President’s death-defying trip on the Plunger. But unable to cover up the affair, official statements were issued denying that the President of the United States had intended to risk his life in a submarine! …
The fact of the matter, of course, was that Roosevelt had been aching to go down in a submarine…. Perhaps it was his excitement to tell of his adventure in the Plunger that caused him to blow the cover story in an exasperated reply to someone who said that the chief of the nation had no right to take the risk of going down in a submarine. For he angrily replied, “I am the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy and I have the right to go where I wish to so as to see where I am ordering our men to go!””…….

Bingo
As said by those who haven’t ever faced a real ASW threat.
Unfortunately manless ships and subs are in the near future. All war will be mechanized.
After we’ve finished blowing up each others “drones”, we’ll turn on each others civilian (defenseless) populations, until were down to hand to hand with clubs and rocks. Be like the old days.
“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
Ha ….. Ditto
I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
Ah, the old days….cue the grumpy old man..
All types of machines will fight each other. Humans will not be able to compete. Who knows how it all plays out, but it’s the future.
digitialized, and “spaced” out…
lasers will win.
Likely the first thing to go will be the satellites and add an EMP attack. I think the reason Jesus returns on horseback is because all electronics will be down.
War will be a video game
Golden Fleet.
A cornerstone of the announcement was the unveiling of a new class of large warships, reportedly to be named Trump-class battleships. According to a Pentagon official, this new vessel type reflects Trump’s long-standing criticism of the current Navy’s ship design and readiness. This initiative is part of a broader “Golden Fleet” vision, which also includes plans for up to 50 support ships.
Navy Secretary John Phelan had previously announced a new frigate class, emphasizing “American-designed ships made by Americans” with a target launch date of 2028. The Monday announcement appears to expand this effort into a much more ambitious battleship program.
Shoot farther and take more hits than the Yamato Class?
Hope not, Billy Mitchell proved battleships obsolete prior to WWII. Even large carriers may be wrong move in future.
In the militarizes defense. They didn’t have iron dome technology in WWII
No Mitchell did not “prove” that.
GUARANTEED THESE SHIPS WILL ALL BE NUCLEAR POWERED.
Yep, and the nuclear power plant workforce is currently aging out.
Give some men and women a few years of service in the US Navy operating those reactors and then they can work in the civilian power industry with transferable skills. Win/win.
I’m pretty sure almost all navy ships are nuclear powered already?
Carriers and submarines only these days. There were a number of nuclear powered cruisers some years ago.
Not economic to have nuclear powered surface fleet. Plus Newport News is the only yard capable of building the ships and their order book is pretty filled. I would like to know more about how electric drive is working on the Zumwalt, but it hasn’t had enough tiume at sea to really stress it.
No need for cursing.
A repeal of the Jones Act, perhaps?
Trump’s New “Battleships” Under the Golden Fleet Plan
Despite the historic name, these vessels will not resemble the heavily armored, gun-based warships of the 20th century. Instead, they are envisioned as large, missile-armed surface combatants displacing between 15,000 and 30,000 tons, significantly larger than current Arleigh Burke-class destroyers (8,000–10,000 tons).
The ships are expected to be equipped with premier offensive strike capabilities, including hypersonic weapons, electromagnetic railguns, and directed energy lasers. They may also feature advanced radar systems and vertical launch systems (VLS) for cruise and air defense missiles, functioning more like floating missile platforms than traditional battleships.
So, building larger targets?
Targets that can’t defend themselves?
That is like putting all your eggs in one basket!
The Navy didn’t learn anything from the Houthis, Iran, nor Ukraine!
Having served in the Navy, your wrong.
Phalanx type guns are extremely effective in wiping out most anything that gets past ship’s missle defenses.
Remind me again how many warships the Houthis hit?
Can they avoid 3,000 cheap, simultaneously fired drones?
They don’t need to avoid the drones.
The phalanx guns just tear through them.
Your 3,000 drones are going to get to sea and find it how, again?
find out who usg buys ships from and buy their stocks. they are about to get a large infusion of counterfeit cash.
always bet on war and inflation. always. mankind has never not had wars or government counterfeiting.
Basically, there is only one main publicly traded American shipbuilder.
I bought shares about six to eight weeks ago. Thanks, Jack at Nobody Special Finance, for the tip off as to the next logical move by the US government.

Bet everyone on the Armed Services Committees did, Aggie.
I’m not a gambler, but I’d clean up on this one 😎
While everyone else asked “How can we sell out our shipbuilding industry and enrich ourselves?”, Donald Trump alone asked “How can a nation be Great that can’t even build its own ships?”
And then he set about fixing it.
Psalm 89
20 he is my servant David! I have anointed him with my holy oil. 21 I will steady him and make him strong. 22 His enemies shall not outwit him, nor shall the wicked overpower him. 23 I will beat down his adversaries before him and destroy those who hate him. 24 I will protect and bless him constantly and surround him with my love; he will be great because of me. 25 He will hold sway from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea. 26 And he will cry to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and my Rock of Salvation.’
Trump’s ‘Make Shipbuilding Great Again’ Order Calls for Wholesale Overhaul of U.S. Maritime Industry – USNI News:
“… The Trump administration wants a sweeping government-wide overhaul of the U.S. commercial and military maritime sectors in an effort to catch up to China’s unrivaled shipbuilding capacity, according to draft documents obtained by USNI News.
The draft of an executive order, dated Feb. 27, calls on administration officials to create a maritime action plan over the next six months to revamp the American maritime industry.
“The United States has always been a maritime nation, but today China’s shipbuilding sector has established a position of dominance in the global market through unfair non-market practices, creating over 200 times the capacity of the U.S. shipbuilding industry,” reads a draft White House fact sheet accompanying the draft order.
The order will create a new maritime industrial base office within the White House’s National Security Council to lead the effort. Trump announced the new office on Tuesday night during a joint address to Congress.
“To boost our defense industrial base, we are also going to resurrect the American shipbuilding industry, including commercial shipbuilding and military shipbuilding. And for that purpose, I am announcing tonight that we will create a new office of shipbuilding in the White House and offer special tax incentives to bring this industry home to America, where it belongs,” Trump said.
“We used to make so many ships. We don’t make them anymore very much, but we’re going to make them very fast, very soon. It will have a huge impact.”” …….

WHY COUNTERFEIT ?
That was his oblique way of referring to printed fiat currency, Rick. Comes a point where a gub’mint prints so much currency that it might as well be counterfeit.
I don’t see the use for a battleship.
I can. In a word: Maduro. Caracas sits right on the north coast. Well within artillery range of a BB. Many tin pot dictators would quake in their shoes if they saw those guns off their shoreline.
You prefer RISK?
I wonder if it’s going to be the contract(s) regarding the icebreakers that was discussed about a month or so ago.
How about a drone carrier? How many drones could be stored in the space of a supertanker?
Or a recallable drone swarm, each with its own home slot in the battleship hive storage.
I hope little Never Trumper Ben Shapiro was taking notes here. If so, he might just learn what it takes to actually be a conservative, as opposed to cosplaying one.
J
I haven’t been able to watch the announcement but is he speaking about battleships?
I’m not sure battleships are a good idea, unless they’re equipped with some new type of weaponry they’re a very slow ship that are kind of obsolete.
The torpedoes we have today can crack the hull pretty easy (maybe not easy) on these types of ships.
I’ve seen a few articles on the new weaponry they’re military has been working on, does anyone know if these will be used for these destroyers?
It’s not battleship in the old dreadnought sense. New generation of warship. Newsmax has a decent article. From their article:
“The Trump-class ships are envisioned as significantly larger than the Navy’s existing Arleigh Burke-class destroyers and are designed to serve as next-generation warships.
The ships are expected to displace roughly 30,000 tons and incorporate advanced technologies, including electromagnetic rail guns, directed-energy laser weapons, and expanded capacity for long-range missiles.”
Quite the load out.
Probably going to have more than a fair number of VLS cells for more conventional missiles and a good number of LMVLS (Large Missile Vertical Launch System) cells designed for the newer hypersonic missiles.
Also nuclear powered for reasons.
Thanks for the info guys.
I stopped keeping up with the tech years ago when it was clear the Bush administration wasn’t serious about prosecuting the war in Iraq and Washington DC turned the war on terror into its own personal slush fund. (Although I guess it’s been like that for 50 years now).
Battleships were FAST! The Iowa-class could do 33knots. That is faster than the new Ford-class carriers, or Nimitz-class carriers, or Arliegh-Burke destroyers, or Zumwalt-class, or just about any big ships.
And they could survive a massive amount of damage.
As much as I love President Trump and what he has sacrificed to help us get our nation back, I cringe when he makes ignorant statements. bolstered by bad advice.
Ships are cool, fire power is impressive, I served when the New Jersey sat off the shore of Vietnam shelling targets over twenty miles away, and when it was taken out of mothballs and recommissioned. The Navy faced a knowledge deficit because no serving members were familiar with the 16″ guns, their firing computers, and how to restore them to service. They pulled old retired Gunner’s Mates out of retirement for the expertise. Vietnam was better than fifty years ago. Where is the Navy going to acquire the expertise today?
I understand that he wants to build two new nuclear powered Battleships, and while it is phenomenally impressive to watch them in shoot a broadside or all guns at once, it is unwise and doesn’t fit our needs. Ship to ship missiles are carried on Frigates, Cruisers, and likely some Destroyers. Certainly guns are cheaper to fire than missiles are to launch, but they have a very limited range. Why do we waste missiles on drug smugglers if cost is a concern? I’m all for sending them to Davey Jones Locker, but missiles? Really?
Perhaps of more importance is that either Trump doesn’t remember, or never knew why Battleships were retired and removed from service. Worse, his advisors aren’t informing him or correcting him. Battle ships were pulled from service for several reason. Fuel costs were enormous as they burned bunker oil for their boilers. They were massive, slow moving targets, and because of the advent of modern aircraft carriers with squadrons of planes that could fly over and drop bombs on them.
With today’s anti-ship missiles and over the horizon air to ship munitions, even massive aircraft carriers are massive targets. It is easy to defeat the Phalanx gatling guns used as the last resort ship protection system. Many, single squadron carriers make more sense than the massive behemoths we send to sea/war. Lose one, and we lose a large percentage of our offenseive and defensive abilities.
Exactly! You are very knowledgeable and correct. Thank you!
re: “The Navy faced a knowledge deficit because no serving members were familiar with the 16″ guns, their firing computers, and how to restore them to service. They pulled old retired Gunner’s Mates out of retirement for the expertise. … Where is the Navy going to acquire the expertise today?”
I recall not so far back (just a few years) people decrying the loss of “NASA” knowledge, and the “prints” for the Saturn V booster stage and the knowledge of how those engines were built.
Along comes Elon Musk and SpaceX and he does his (the company’s engineers do it) own design SURPASSING the Saturn 5 booster in performance …
The gun turrets, barrels, loading mechanisms, and firing computers can all be improved, even without the visionary brilliance of Elon Musk. However, a big gun is a big gun, and it’s limitations will still exist. Each 2,000 pound shell required six one hundred pound bags of powder that had be be loaded separately. Those details too could be worked out, perhaps polymerizing a powder charge that an autoloader could place in the breach.
My Dad worked for the company that built Titan missile systems from 1 to 4s, Minuteman, Viking Mars Landers, and many others. He designed ground launch test systems at the circuit board level. I’ve been into rockets from early childhood, and can tell you that the basic engine had not changed much since the early days. Russian engines were generally better. The Saturn V had 5 million pound of thrust, not because of better engines, but more engines bringing the power level up to mission requirements.
Elon Musk’s development of the Raptor engines is nothing short of genius. Raptor 3 is an amazing feat of engineering. All that to acknowledge Musk’s brilliance that could be brought to bear on any design of interest, but beyond the areas of improvement mentioned above, I don’t think he can make similar improvements to a big gun.
I don’t see this happening. Dems will kill the funding after the next election. I’d like to see more submarines built. Those make a difference. If I had to build a big hull to make a statement and project power, we could use more aircraft carriers.
Nothing keeps a nefarious power in check like a boomer (missile submarine) that they can’t track, or know where it is.
With President Trump discussing the size and lethality of the new ships I could not help but think about an old discussion I had heard when I was a young boy back in the early 1960s;
An older sailor was describing the large battleship he served on and describing it as somewhat of a Dreadnought. He said that he told young fresh sailors that as long as they were onboard this ship all they needed to do was; Trust in God and Dread Naught.
Maybe the new saying towards the enemy of our nation, in describing these new large ships, should be; Trust in God and Dread Trump.
The US has a history of shipbuilding: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newport_News_Shipbuilding

I’m 100% MAGA. More battleships is dumb, and calling them Trump-Class is yet another recent small, petty “owns” of the Left that are looking petty and yes unpresidential. The plaques in the White House, the tweet that Reiner drove others to insanity due to his TDS a day after his murder, and lots more recent stuff. He is harming the future of America First.
Is this a head fake? ie., make the opposition insist on a significant expenditure for the technology they really want? New technology that is being tested in Ukraine?
I wish Trump would hold these press conferences but talk about that during the last 11 months he had to completely repair all the mind boggling damage the Biden clan did and that Americans will see major benefits in 2026 .
The Ball room talks and talking about the military are things that Americans who are still focused on things like grocery prices and their finances don’t care about right now . It’s ammo the left uses with great effectiveness .
It’s just bad timing , Americans better see major positive changes throughout 2026 or the midterms will be a disaster .
If you have a functioning brain than you know that if democrats ever regain power the country is doomed , all the U.S taxpayer money that democrats used for funding “Wokeness” around the world will start again and the border will be wide open to third world enemy combatants .
Messaging has been beyond terrible , many more news conferences and nightly addresses speaking about what the Trump administration is doing to create financial stability for ALL Americans is critical . Ship building and things other than the American peoples financial stability should be put off IF you care about winning the miderms.
Trump aircraft carrier.
With all due credit to sir mix a lot, I like big ships.
And I cannot lie 🎵
Check out the CCP’s Chines Navy, now far bigger than ours,….and you’ll quickly see why President Trump is now building our New American Navy. Start laying those keels and building those modules, Donald! Hurry the Christenings, outfittings and sea trials,…. Make our US Navy Great Again!
Informative. Merry Christmas Mr. President and all.

(FYI) My family has been involved in shipbuilding for over 200 years and this is a topic I try to keep updated on. Including new tech.
Just an observation.
It is beginning to feel like we are putting ourselves in the position Japan was in before WW2.
America was the great manufacturing power and none could compete.
Now we have given up all that and made China the great manufacturing power.
Japan had quasi parity based on a Naval treaty that let them have in one ocean more than half of the fleets of the countries that needed fleets in two or more oceans.
I’ve even seen an analysis that that was all that Japan could sustain.
But Japan ended that treaty. And like Japan, America went on a Naval building spree.
And the writing was on the wall. Japan only had a limited time before their hopes of being able to beat us were drowned in a vast American numerical advantage.
I even see hints of Japan realizing this. Yamamoto said that if they didn’t win in two years, that he could make no promises. After every victory, Japan sails away to fight another day, instead of taking further risk to destroy what is left of their enemy. And Tarawa was two years after Pearl. Half a year later, our 15 carrier fleet aircraft shot down most of their 9 carrier fleet aircraft in the Marianas. And by Okinawa, we had scores of carriers.
I hope Trump can revert us back to a great manufacturing country that can build and sustain a great Navy.
But until then, we will be like Japan. Starting an arms race with China that we can’t sustain.
I think this is exciting news. The US has been developing lasers & rail guns for over 30 years. It’s been known for a long time that both of those systems require massive amounts of power and cooling capacity, so a nuclear-powered naval setting is a natural fit for them. It doesn’t much matter if your enemy sends a hundred warships at you. If you have a floating fortress like the one Trump described, you would simply weigh anchor and then pop the enemy boats out of the water like cork bobbers. It’s a hell of a weapon he’s proposing, so I’m excited to see it enter production.
I am not sure how many people understand this. Mike Benz crystalized this for me. He identified specific patterns such as the connections between coffee and drugs and how the CIA is involved in both.
Trump is commander in chief. He commands the overt military forces of the USA and the covert forces of the USA as well. But we all know the cover forces are not necessarily loyal to POTUS but always seem loyal to the globalist agenda.
The covert forces operate in many of the same places Trump is going after. Trump is setting a trap through his overt actions.
If the CIA or the agents of the globalists (our “allies”) attempt to counter his overt actions which are legal as the Monroe Doctrine and in the direct national security interests of the USA, then Trump will be entitled to respond to the counter. If it’s the CIA, then he can simply put them to death with little or no [visible] due process John McStain style. As for “allies” countering his efforts? I’m less sure but (1) the CIA runs S/Central America with its regime changes and election rigging. (Trump has already had affect on this as S/Central American countries are not aligning right/conservative in their elections — no doubt because rigging is stopped or reduced) and (2) I’m not aware of allied Intel operating in the arena. So it seems S/Central America is all CIA.
When Trump is going after these countries, he is limiting what power the CIA has over there and also limiting their secret money sources.
I see all of this as Trump neutralizing deep state foreign influence, power and operational income.
What Trump is doing about operations in the US? Whether it’s the CIA or some other deep state control group (does the name matter?) someone created these massive government spending fraud programs. Did anyone believe the Somalis orchestrated all of this by themselves? I don’t. Someone higher up establishes the operations and recruits the operatives. Gov Walz is an operative, not a master mind. Pretty sure we can all agree on that.
Trump is dismantling all of that and the NGO scam as well. It’s all going bye-bye.
I think Trump will soon announce intentions of clawing back as much of the stolen money as possible and sending it back to tax payers. That’s probably something he will save for the mid terms.
This is what I see. Am I missing something? Wrong about something? Let me know.
The hyperbole of using the term “Battleship” on one hand was fun to watch … but a mistake …. the US Navy retired all their battleships because they are supposed to be “Obsolete” … then there is the USS Trump trope … as well as the Golden Fleet trope that is reminiscent of the US “Great White Fleet” launched Roosevelt and all the Colonizing World Power allegations that followed.
It is easy to see where the President was going with his announcement with respect to modernization, ship building industry, etc. etc. but a “smart media person” could have allot of fun picking apart the comments.
While this may be a worthy endeavor, The President is losing votes like mine and our baby boomer coalition because he’s spending $$$$$ this govt doesn’t have. In a midterm year, focus must b on things that impact the legal voting majority like affordability, increasing jobs for American workers, illegal alien deportations, the spread of islam in America (Gabbard’s Amfest speech), removing foreign populations that refuse to assimilate, denaturalize foreign populations that commit fraud via taxpayer moneys… and voters don’t give a flip abt nuking Venezuelan drug boats to address the U.S. drug crisis…
And remove Wiles from the The President’s team, get a true strategist for the midterms… whatever it takes
