Trump can not Constitutionally run as VP either. The only absurd scenario would be a stand-in Presidential and VP ticket, Trump elected as Speaker of the House followed by Presidential and VP retirement. Rubio is authentic for the most part. He is an excellent communicator and has command of his audience. We may not agree with all of Rubio’s positions on foreign policy but he is not selling out the country to foreign interests unlike so many of our politicians.

White Obama sure knows how to give a good speech. Lots of pretty words. But can we trust him? Probably not.
I like a lot of Trump’s people but he has more than Vance. I also was one of the first to read Vance’s book. However, I have not missed the brilliance of Rubio and Gabbard. We have some good leaders in place and behind the scene, there are more. Vance just happens to be linked to the mega money folks. Time will tell and until then I pray that God will keep all of them safe and that includes Trump and his family too.
I’ll await Sundance’s opinion on the matter. Co-opting TPUSA as a launching platform makes me uneasy, especially with his connections. Vance’s speech said everything I wanted to hear, and who am I to judge his sincerity? Yet I’ll reserve my opinion for a later date.

I agree Ma. I don’t trust ANY of the Silicon Valley/Tech mafia one whit. They are the money behind Vance and JD will do their bidding, if he wins. Silicon Valley is H1B Visas first, front and center – this just puts people like JD’s wife at the head of Tech – instead of putting US Citizens at the forefront like we used to do. There are no job options for our young people if they are not given opportunities first, before ALL foreigners.
You know, “the 2028 Election Campaign” is three years away. Right Now, Vance’s job is to be Vice-President, and he has been given a very full plate of responsibilities. It is obvious that he is carrying them well. Everyone will remember this, when the next “voting time” comes. But, this is not yet the time.
And I am quite certain that he knows this. Both of them do.
It is very clear that President Trump regards “the Veep” as anything but “a spare tire.” We can see him sometimes speaking for the President, but in a way very different than the President himself would do, and we know that this was planned by the two of them. It works very well. Trump can give the “nice side” of the message, while Vance shows a little more teeth. Different men, same coordinated message. Strong team. (President Trump is very good at building teams …)

Let me preface this by saying I’m really weary of forever elections. 2026 midterm discussions were started before the ink was dry on the general. Midterms has to be the focus now. As far as Vance and Rubio go, I’m still watching. I honestly believe Rubio wants to stay in the SOS role. I don’t think he wants to campaign or be in an elected position. DeSantis is a joke to me.
