 BlackRock CEO Larry Fink is panicking over President Trump’s new plan to undermine the power of woke asset managers.

He knows the President is one stroke of a pen away from completely ripping his power base out from underneath him and he’s getting desperate.

His latest desperate defense is bizarrely claiming that if woke asset managers, like BlackRock, aren’t allowed to vote YOUR shares, both foreigners and activists will gain outsized power.

This assertion is ludicrous on its face.

First and foremost, what he’s saying here is that he believes that the American people are too stupid to vote their own shares.

He believes the American people couldn’t possibly understand the complexity of voting as well as he does, so he believes it’s his job to vote for them.

Second, he’s saying (because, again, he believes the American people are too stupid to vote their own shares) that the President’s move will give more power to people who vote…the EXACT SAME WAY BlackRock does.
