The case was dismissed on legal technicalities. Johnathan Turely was on Fox at 11am/12pm explaining why. He said the judge also said the case ‘had merit’.

Turley warned James is celebrating a little to early. Again the judge said the case had merit and it can be refiled as the grand jury charges and DOJ warrant are still valid. I don’t know how it will turn out, but don’t give up hope of justice just yet.
Jeanine Perro is the U.S. Attorney for DC and passed senate confirmation. Move her to Lindsey Halligan’s position and then hire Halligan to be on the team that prosecutes the criminals.

I wonder what would happen if a coalition of states was to refuse to accept federal election results from any state that doesn’t have voter ID and in-person voting? or has months long voting and accepts ballots days and weeks after election day. I’m in the outskirts (Bob Welch song) of a city smack dab in the middle of the country that was impacted last spring with a twister in our urban area.
I have no idea but I suspect most of these folks had no insurance since most properties are still demolished.
My oldest grandson is doing a stint in something-Americorp or whatever and has been there cleaning up. In all the news stories I’ve seen all year it’s always volunteers that are there trying to remediate.
The latest story tonight was about a local roofer that installed a new roof as well as siding for a couple.
Call me jaded but in 2025 this charity seems to me to be a PR ploy for that company.

Many of those residences that were damaged are destined to be razed because not only are the owners uninsured but they were not well maintained even before the tornado.
I see stories about this part of the city frequently on NextDoor, it appears people are just waiting for the government to come in and save them. And some are benefiting from charity. And a few are working hard at restoration.
But it seems most expect a magic hand.
