I did when I had to eat school lunch, but usually we took our own lunch packed from home. You could tell the really poor hungry kids, they would ask the kids throwing their lunch out if they could have it. You knew the parents where trading their food stamps for money and then buying alcohol and cigarettes. Small town better off and poor kids all went to the same school. Some of those kids slept in the car until the bars closed, no money for sitters. That was the 1960’s.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 294 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

what is really needed is someone who can pick up where Charlie left off. If I wasn’t in survival mode to keep primary care viable, I would try to replicate Charlie’s reading list, his learning style, and his discussion style with the crowds. Truly try to understand the points of the oppositionists.
And build an army of people equipped in respectful dialogue. This was also the way of Jesus.
One of the problems with our current American Culture is we forget that, as a constitutional republic, We the People are the real power, and are to hold our representatives accountable.

A president is an executive mandated to do what the voters told him to do, swear allegiance to the Constitution, to God, and to the people who sent him.

Amazing how this MIGA distraction to MAGA lit off shortly following Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Very curious timing, indeed. As was the venue of the assassination and how it has been handled there since. Almost like it was a plan.
Charlie Kirk was beginning to make fundamentally transformative changes in certain younger demographics. Younger demographics at an economic, spiritual, and political crossroads. Very different from the past couple of generations (now lost).
As younger Americans are now being forced to choose between conservatism and communism as their future.
The engineered economic crisis of the extreme left was to force the latter upon them, as self-owned housing in particular grows increasingly out of reach for them.
A half century mortgage is not the solution. An economy that restores income ratios to home values more in line with traditional metrics is the solution. And much of the Trump Agenda can push the economy back in that direction. This younger generation took hope from that, and increasingly from the spiritual and cultural revival of Charlie Kirk.
And the longer that the neo-con/Israeli distraction and the feckless Republican refusal to reopen the Trump Agenda (by abolishing the filibuster) drags on, the less a true durable economic solution to this very real crisis drags on.
And the less attractive the conservative path forward looks to the younger generation, who last year gave Trump a chance.
Inevitably, as that promise is stolen from them, they increasingly look to the easy trap of communism in desparation.
And it is a total trap, as both economic, and spiritual free will are stolen from them.
A large part of the NYC communist takeover was built on the economic desperation of the young. That was part of the Obama communist plan.

The one thing I will say about the Russiagate subpoena headline stories, is perhaps the thing that most will not.
DOJ is being forced into action, we all know that. However, the most annoying part -at least to me- is watching them expose “Russiagate” which really was a symptom of the disease, and not the root issue which the same DC officials just cannot touch out of fear.
Underneath Russiagate, a big story unto itself, is the story of “Spygate” which predicates it.
Spygate, the political surveillance system created entirely to control outcomes, sits there untouched.
It’s good to see the Russiagate scheme team held to account; they deserve a full reckoning. However, the soul crushing reality of the spying and surveillance system underneath it is something the ‘continuity of government’ crowd simply refuses to review.

Just plainly say it … the democrats purposely having no written fix for the ACA means the democrats want the ACA extended 1-full calendar year AS IS. That would of course include those rich elites using it as well as the more costly MILLIONS of AUTO-PEN and DACA IMMIGRANTS using it essentially for FREE. This would condemn the program to never ending cost incremental (supplemental) increases added on to each new spending bill during FY2026 and FY2027. That would essentially be an ACA specific Continuing Resolution.
Also Note that language and terms matter. A 1-Callendar Year extension does not = the end of FY2026 (September 2026) but 3 months into FY2027 or November 2026, which means … NO adjustments can be made to the ACA until March-April 2027 which is the reconciliation period for FY2027. That also means the adjustment debates would hit just as the 2028 Elections start heating up.
I wish there was some way that Trump could come right to the American people and put the cards on the table.

The R’s offered a one year extension early on but Jeffries said NO (Oct 7th). The D’s wanted the subsidy to be PERMANENT and anything less would not fly. Then the other day, Schumer offers to end the shutdown for a 1 year extension…. AFTER causing all this pain and headaches for the American public.
If the R”s caved to that now, the D’s would have a winning message. And guess what, we would be in the same position after 1 more year of the subsidies… the D’s will hold us hostage again until they got the subsidy to be permanent.
The answer is for the Rules to be changed such that all CR’s require a simple majority vote. Period. This should never happen again!
Of course, it would be better if they would just pass the appropriations on time!
