Ever wondered why we can instantly recall the words of a song we enjoy, even one’s we haven’t listened to in years? Yet if one was to try recall one right now, the best we get are a few lines,or a chorus, with a vague “whisper” of the tune in the background. Why and how is this? We’ll a “new” quantum theory called Quantum Memory Matrix (QMM) suggests that (or could be proposed), all our memory (especially powerful or directed emotions/thoughts) ends up stored in the Universe itself. (we just keep enough locally). Literally the “cloud”.

Anyway back to the music, there is one track from CSN that I enjoy, but could never quite feel comfortable with the words “Dark Star” – maybe it could be referring to a black girlfriend – but it always felt a bit “sinister” to me. Now in some uber religious circles, music is labelled either Holy or un-holy. Holy coming from holy writers, played by holy musicians – all the Psalms would be included, also anything “lyrical” taken from the Bible. Also included would also be Church music, and even classical “voice of God” movements or aria’s like Mozart’s Zaide; Aria, Ruhe Sanft.
What I and most of us listen to (rockers) would be considered un-holy. My trouble is I just don’t “vibe” – sure I can appreciate the musical and “spiritual” quality, but let’s be honest, who can do a 8 hour drive to Mozart? Gotta get me some beat, man.

Back to Dark Star (still remember??) I found a way to understand it – or elevate the words/ interpretation if you will, by applying knowledge given/learned/copied – for example, sleep is considered 1/60 of death – which is why we pray to our Lord to protect us – because in a sense the Angel of death now has a 1/60 control while we sleep. Our evening prayers now being a protection so the “Dark star” doesn’t take more than he is allowed. Why also when we wake our morning prayer is a prayer of thanks (for the night), and for the coming day.
So now, dark star isn’t so scary any-more, especially when “…..let the memory of the evening” now means – remember the evening prayer – as a deterrent.
You can do the same in/to almost any music that appeals to you as long as the theme isn’t thumping death, mayhem, and destruction, of course.

Now to the Quantum stuff (still remember??) – take the word/s “baby or girl or any feminine attribute in a song and apply the concept that the Holy Spirit, the Shekhinah, the Presence of God, is considered the “female” aspect of God. Doesn’t every song (well lots) suddenly take on a new meaning? Now you are “understanding” the “baby” as the Holy Spirit Now you are literally uplifting (spiritually) that song to a higher place – like you are tuning it into a prayer. The same applies whenever you can place God as the object of “love”, or “You” as in “You are the love of my life” – This now is forever and powerfully “written” to the universe and to God – uplifted from the mundane. Naturally many songs are just what they are – no need to get the meaning out of each and every. Not every line and verse can apply – sometimes its just a line or a chorus, sometimes almost the whole track.
Sometimes it is what it is – no “hidden” stuff to ponder over – like this.

Only you (personally) can make the “fit”. Remember the Eagles track “Love will keep us alive” ?? Now you can now praise God with almost all your favorites. This particular track is very personal, because it happened. Enjoy your updated playlist. 🙂

Each moment of this day has been a gift, and I thank You for the blessings, both seen and unseen. Let my sleep be a thank you, my dreams be praise, and my night whispers echo with gratitude. Amen.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.
