What a heartbreaking picture, Bets…my grandfather was in France in 1917. I never knew him but I understand he was a very kind, quiet man, who did his duty, but was never the same.
My father was Army Air Corp/Air Force during Korea, although never deployed. My uncle was 37 years (active and reserve) Marine Corps/Air Force, serving in country in both Korea and Vietnam. My FIL was in the Norwegian Merchant Marines, leaving his homeland in 1939 as a 17 year old, unable to return until early ’46. He went all over the world, from Murmansk (twice!) to South America, and his stories of the ships around him that were torpedoed and the sailors begging to be rescued, would break your heart!

However, looking ahead….on the bigger threats to America…it isn’t Israel. It is the Democrat Socialists (progressive Marxists) and radical Islamists immigrating to America.
I would like them to work together on those threats in the coming months and years.
