When US v. Trump, the SCOTUS opinion on presidential immunity, was issued, Trump requested that the district court judge reconsider the removal. The district court judge refused.
The Second Circuit just directed the district court judge to reconsider his refusal in light of US v. Trump. The judge (Hellerstein) is a Clinton judge (not good, but not as bad as an Obama of Biden judge). If he rules in favor of Trump, it appear he’s holding that NY never had jurisdiction and that the verdict is null and void. No telling how long it will take the district court judge to reconsider the removal issue.

Problem is nowhere in the indictment is federal law mentioned. Instead, “another crime” appears in its place.
That alone should vacate the conviction, along with the instruction that a unanimous verdict on what the “another crime is — and whether it has been proven — is not necessary. But I think only the NYS Courts can do that.

Trump’s answer should be due to the separation of powers I can’t legally do that, take it to the Supreme Court judge.
This is one case where Trump should publicly ask this Judge to identify the funds to be used to do this.
He told him to use the funds designated for the WIC program.
The judge ordered the Trump Admin to take funding for child nutrition programs and redirect it to the overwhelmingly lazy SNAP recipients.

I assume the CR they’re voting on is the version that came over from the House. If the Senate alters it, it must go back to the House or to a conference committee – one or the other – so the final bills passed by both houses are identical. Johnson has to be on board with whatever Thune is doing, and I don’t doubt that Johnson is.
And I don’t doubt that Schumer, Pelosi, et al, will gloat, and the MSM narrative will be “GOP caves” or “Trump caves” so the Dems get a “win” on the heels of the elections.

The Department of Justice is preparing to issue a series of grand jury subpoenas as part of a South Florida-based investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan and the probes by the CIA and FBI into Russian interference in the 2016 election, MSNBC has learned.
The investigation is being supervised by the U.S. attorney in South Florida, Jason Reding Quiñones, in consultation with Justice Department senior staff in Washington, according to a source familiar with the matter and other information obtained by MSNBC.
A White House spokesman confirmed the existence of the grand jury investigation in August after Fox News reported that Attorney General Pam Bondi ordered the probe based on a criminal referral from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

If Republicans are ever going to grow their majorities and stay in power, they need to start taking actions that win and quit looking to compromise with the Democrats.
The Democrats will never seek bipartisan agreement that puts them in a position to lose. Just look at the government shutdown as exhibit A. The Democrats will “cut off their nose to spite their face” over this shutdown just to ensure the Republicans don’t get a win.
The Republicans need to recognize all arcane tradition or rules as just a small obstacle to accomplish what Americans sent them to Washington for. They are playing right into the Democrats hands by continuing to push for bipartisanship whenever they’re in power.
So to all the Republicans in the Senate. Blow up the filibuster. Pass legislation and reforms that encourage the flourishing of the American people, shrink government, and hold these sniveling little Trump-hating federal judges accountable.
