Prayers that both MAGA, Turning Point USA, and many other “movement” become aligned and one according to the truth of our Creator, not the ideas of man.

I found “The Still Hour” very nicely this morning – the new page created which starts with my rosary post from yesterday, May 5th – posted my new rosary post for today and also read Stillwater’s posts from yesterday, Wednesday, May 5th.
But now it seems to have gone away when I attempt to go to “The Still Hour” through CTRL-H on Google (Control key plus H for History).
I had thought I might add a link for the rosary that takes about 20 minutes, the traditional set of rosary prayers for one set of Mysteries: Sorrowful, Joyful, Glorious or Luminous. I always have the link for a place on youtube where they have a rosary prayer that encompasses all of the rosary mysteries, just so you can see all of them but I believe we are doing well if we can do the 20 minute version – such as they had on EWTN especially with Father Mitch Pacwa, “The Holy Rosary in the Holy Land” (you can find those on youtube as well).
One used to be able to go to Mass every day early in the morning before going to work (the 20 minute, one set of mysteries rosary) and you could also sit in with the rosary people who did that every day (typically early in the morning and then again in the afternoon about 4:30).
It seems to me that the rosary is getting forgotten about insofar as being made available in church but perhaps more are discovering it online.
Another great place about the rosary was a website which had a history about Our Lady of Guadalupe as well as guidance on how to pray the rosary – I thought it was sanctus.org but that seems to be something else now.
It would be so great if there is a website where everyone can stop in at every day and say the rosary together – no parking issues to upset the neighborhood!

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 291 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

Minneapolis is virtually occupied by Somalians, Muslims, Gaza supporters snd various Islamic factions, all of whom are apparently able to vote, legally or not.
How is it that with this make up of the electorate that a Jewish mayor gets re- elected mayor of Minneapolis?
How is it that New York City, with more Jewish money and power positions than any other city in the US, elects a radical Muslim for mayor?

Up very early today, but here goes:
There were some nuances between Minneapolis and NYC, both in the candidates’ packaging and positioning, and their messaging, as related to their respective vote bases.
Bear in mind that the Democrat party nationally is in the midst of a takeover by primarily younger communists, but increasingly infiltrated with predatory islamic elements. This internal party civil war, started and encouraged by Barack Obama, has been progressively going on for over 10 years. The old guard establishment elements, while still in many leadership positions, are now aging out and fading from power as that takeover completes. In NYC, the focus of the emerging new base has been increasingly towards the socialist-populist flavor (started with AOC) and anti-Israel; where in Minneapolis it is about one electoral cycle behind in evolution, with a slightly different voter demographic.
The illegals and Muslims, while a substantial voting block, are not the dominant electorate yet in either city. A major and aggressive voting block in both cities are now liberal women, of all persuasions, but particularly younger white liberal women (under 30). That group votes primarily on emotion, without deep intellectual analysis of the issues, and are easily manipulated by electioneering.
The current mayor of Minneapolis was running as an incumbent, which confers a decided advantage over his opponents. His principal challenger, while a young Muslim, was extremely unattractive and message unsophisticated in comparison, with his sole selling point being his religion.
That incumbent has also consistently groveled to the Muslim block and all other key fringe groups, and assiduously makes sure to check all the far-left woke boxes at all times, and remains young enough, to keep the remaining liberal vote blocks interested in him. He has taken great pains to suppress his religion, which is presently still acceptable within the Minneapolis political climate. That’s why he won.
In NYC, there was no incumbent running by election day (and the incumbent had been successfully scandalized). But a very carefully packaged, attractive young Muslim male was positioned as a populist ‘socialist’ (communist) new wave Democrat candidate, against an elderly old guard establishment Democrat running independently, and a middle-aged Trump-hating Republican candidate. In NYC today, a Republican unless exceptional has very little opening to prevail.
That first candidate, having won the primary, checked all the boxes for all core NYC voting blocks: machine Democrat voters, illegal aliens (including a large Muslim sub-block), young liberal women, and younger liberal men, all of who are all-in on government-supplied benefits and living subsidies, and a ‘populist socialist that will punish the powerful’. You do still have Jewish Democrats in NYC who will vote for any Democrat candidate regardless of their issue profile.
Nevertheless, NYC is a cycle further along in the progression to the new Democrat model, and is more vociferously anti-Israel for this cycle, to the point where older establishment Democrat figures, particularly Jewish ones such as Jerry Nadler and Chuck Schumer, are either retiring or are cowed into submission to the new wave. The future in NYC is AOC and people like this young Muslim Communist (both of who may have been groomed by the same Muslim Brotherhood affiliated system).
Don’t impart high intellect or self-awareness to low-information retail voters; there really are large blocks of voters, such as young women and Jews, who will vote for a Muslim, like turkeys voting for Thanksgiving, if the party affiliation and other attributes push the correct buttons.
That is why the Muslim Communist won in NYC this time around.

I would also add in the Leftist Boomers. Their TDS has pushed them Far Left. I live between Baltimore and DC and it’s very similar to NYC.
I have a friend who is a teacher her husband a VA counselor. She was telling me her older boomer in-laws always vote Democratic. When her and her husband (their son) pointed out they disagree with every Democratic policy their answer was it didn’t matter we always have voted Democrat and will continue to do so. What do you do with people like that?

“Self awareness” is not a characteristic of congenital democrats. I’ve known more than a few that exhibit a personal philosophy that is traditional conservative yet they avoid any discussion which seeks to extract an explanation for the dissonance.

That entire mid-Atlantic corridor, from NYC down to DC, containing the old PRR Northeast Rail Corridor (and further inland the dreaded I-95 corridor), passing through Philadelphia and Wilmington along the Delaware River and Bay, is primarily all traditional white blue collar Democrat country the entire way down the line (with the exception of a few rural stretches running though central New Jersey, southern “slower lower” Delaware and northern Maryland). It has only become more fervently leftist over the years in many areas due to suburban white flight and illegal infiltration.
It traditionally takes a herculean effort from the ring counties outside Philadelphia to overcome it in statewide races. And with the infiltration into Chester and Montgomery Counties in more recent years (white flight) it has become increasingly difficult. White liberals bring their destructive politics with them. How Bucks County manages to stay barely red despite the continuing infiltration of NYC commuters over the decades there is a mystery.
There is a strong correlation with older seniors (as you say, Boomers) who continue to watch broadcast television for primary information and political alignment. This is a holdover habit from decades of exclusivity. It is indeed TV “programming”. It used to be the case that the older demographics were more conservative than younger ones. But corporate media brainwashing has changed that.
I am one of those ancient Boomers, but stopped watching broadcast TV in the early 1980s. I have no idea what they even air anymore.
South Jersey is also very conservative, even those areas considered Philly suburbs.
My first time to vote there shocked me, but it is farm country.
Yes it is. And when you get down towards Wildwood and Cape May, that is solid MAGA country. Huge, wide beaches, too (courtesy of the north-central NJ shore towns up the coast).
Those main transport corridors unfortunately cross over the Delaware into PA north of Burlington.
New Jersey is very much like Korea. North and South are two different worlds.
Best tomatoes in America are Jerseys. But the worst drivers (maybe the Indian truckers are now worse).
Best corn anywhere as well. Produce was amazing. Farm stands everywhere. My wife misses that part. The rest – they can keep.
Something about that river. Cross over the Burlington-Bristol bridge, and it’s suddenly less sandy soil, and all the foliage is different. PA’s trees are special. Maybe from the changing soil.
PA corn can be comparable. But there’s a reason it’s called The Garden State. Even the peaches there rival a Georgia.
We used to make a pilgrimage every August or September into the farm stand zone for those tomatoes. None better on a BLT in late summer heat.
Depends on where in South Jersey.
Atlantic County is dominated by Republican, but they are relatively middle-of-the-road. Atlantic City and some nearby areas are Democrats, and there are swing towns, too. And while county government is strongly Republican, Dems have held statehouse seats for years.
Cape May, with tons of retirees, tends to be conservative and R-oriented, but Jeff VanDrew, a relatively conservative D, firmly held the senate seat for years.
Dems have dominated Camden county for years, but there are pockets, such as Haddonfield which lean R.
I’ve never really followed politics in Salem or Gloucester counties, so nothing much to pass along there other than to say Salem from a distance seems inclined toward Trump perspectives on issues.
Burlington is huge, so I’m sure there are lots of variations by town, but county government is R-oriented.
Van Drew successfully changed political affiliation from D to R and still won (yep, Cape May provided a ton of support to him).
No one is convincing me that a majority of voters pulled the lever for the new VA POS / AG.
Lots o’ fraud in the northern VA counties. The later tabulation graphics bear that out.
More than enough fraud margin to beat a sub-par never-trumper candidate like Sears.
And they carried that death threat AG across the line with those same fraud coattails.

Even some MAGA posters here don’t understand how he’s rebuilding our country but this time on solid ground. The article gives context and strategy, but also facts.
Leaving out pure electronic and mail-in vote theft in any analysis is short sighted. Spanbarger wins via theft. It’s who and what she is.
The OP was asking about two city mayoral races where there were effectively two Democrats running in each (one in a ranked choice run off, and the other as an establishment independent).
Typical Democrat vote fraud systems were not major factors in these same-side races, which hinged more on demographic and messaging factors.
Do you really think the Cuomo camp, with 50 year establishment roots in NYS politics, would have tolerated that? There would have been baseball bat fights back in those ballot harvesting rooms.
That’s why typical vote fraud was depreciated, at least in my analysis of those two races.
VA and the traditional R v. D races, are a different calculus where fraud matters much more.
Maybe part of it, but she won by a margin that indicates it was more than the cheat going on.
How long before the young liberal females who vote for muslims learn what they really voted for……like you said “turkeys voting for Thanksgiving”? The old gals are the same.

What transformed Charlie was his desire to know Christ. An insatiable, disciplined thirst to learn about Christ. From the bible, from those men whose lives reflected the life and wisdom of Christ. And he studied with humility. He taught and shared the message with humility. He disagreed and debated with others with humility and with a respect for anyone who was honestly trying to learn.
When someone disagreed with Charlie he viewed them as someone loved and created by God, to reflect His image.

While one appreciates Palm Springs is not typical of the U.S.A. on our recent trip south from British Columbia we also spent time in Washington State.
The cost of eating out, many groceries, even gasoline in California ( close in Washington State too) is on balance considerably more than here in our Canadian border town.
Especially produce, many pork products, and some seafood.
Sure the U.S $ is devalued, but ours is “ in the toilet” and dropping. One U.S. $ buys approximately $1.40 Can.
Now we are a mess here in Canada and many are in for a rude awakening.
Several late sixties to early seventies individuals in a fellowship I enjoy are “ well heeled” Canadian born men two own property in the U.S.A. another takes trips to Maui each year for a month or so.
I know these folks well, they earned their money through graft, and shrewd real estate buys.
Yesterday over a coffee with two of them.
I shared our experiences with costs etc. particularly eating out, hotels and entertainment such as golf.
The guy that goes to Maui figures this will be his last year as he figures he is being ripped off, and that a new increased “tourist” tax is an insult.
We have travelled to Las Vegas, Palm Springs and several other U.S. destinations many times.
IMO travel is becoming increasingly unaffordable.
This is not the fault President Trump, and he has been in power for less than a year.
IMO 2026 will be noticeably better for U.S. citizens.

Agree. Time to put America first at home and wrangle some economic issues that are making people very angry. The midterms will not be pretty if the Trump team doesn’t address domestic policies and the cost of living.
Trump has actually done a lot to curb cost of living screaming even higher.
And he has had to overcome lots of poison pills designed to force prices even higher, like killing off chickens.
But he has not fought the MSM falsely claiming those poison pills are Trump driving up inflation.
Also, his victory is only partial. Inflation is decreasing, but only gradually. Gas has dropped in price, but not as much as in his first term. And frankly we want all of Biden’s inflation to be undone. But that is the horrid deflation. And I don’t think that will be permitted.
I still think there are other poison pills the Autopen left behind. Major sanctions keep oil prices high. Something keeps driving up beef prices. etc.
Major progress is still needed to help us. And that will help the vote in 2026.
