Having listened to the entire oral argument on CSPAN, as well as the following SCOTUSblog analysis (which was excellent)…it looks like PDJT will not prevail. It may well be a 6-3 striking them down, which would really create a mess and, imo, cause reputational harm. Maybe they’ll ‘split the baby’ – leaving those already imposed in place – but remains to be seen.
If I was Donald Trump, I would defy the Supreme Court’s removal of his authority to impose tariffs. The Court cannot enforce a damn thing. They have no army. They were never elected by anyone.

I voted a week early in VA. As usual, there were Dem and Repub volunteers handing out sample ballots. The Repub woman approached me but her Dem rival was on her heels. I bypassed the attractive Repub rep and went straight to the equally attractive Dem, but with a pointed request: Give me three reasons to vote for Abigail Spanberger. She hesitated but said “she’s a veteran” and then “she will govern well for Virginians”.
“What’s the third?” I asked. She stumbled and said, “She’s a nice person”.
Here’s what I said back: “I’ll give you three reasons why I WON’T vote for her”–She wants to make Virginia a sanctuary state, she will allow boys in girls school locker rooms, and she didn’t denounce Jay Jones for saying he wanted to kill his opponent and his family”.

The United States “backed off the position” of having to do anything as messy as to “declare war” a long time ago. The last war that we “declared” was WW2. The President (and the rest of the Government) have been plunging into War without declaration ever since.

What we just witnessed in the November 4th election is exactly that moment in history Khrushchev warned about. The communists are patient, unyielding, playing the long game, quietly worming their way into society until they control society. Meanwhile, those opposed have been busy going-along in a futile effort to ever get-along.

The selections last night demonstrate once again that we are not in charge and it seems that the majority of people are discussing the event as if there was an actual election.

There hasn’t been one since 2016, and even before then there was cheat. Once President Trump surprised them, they went full bore, starting with the beta test in 2018 in Orange county CA, and at least one other contest with the tally changing that brought in Beshear in Kentucky.
Even in 2024 Trump only won because of too big too rig. The deep state strategists did what Team Slavey has always been good at doing, they adapted their tactics, by keeping all of the focus on Trump with narrative building through their media arm, their push polls, bots, etc., and then stole a bunch of R seats in the Senate and House leaving just enough to nominally give the R’s the majority so they could say, “See we have fair elections, the Republicans won everything” In reality though, it’s a D majority as in D for deep state.
The last 10 months proves this is true as the RINOs do the bare minimum to appease, while fighting Trump at every turn.
