Changed the whole house water filter and cleaned the housing. Our well water is potable but has magnetite. I have to change the filter every 6 weeks. I get the well cleaned once every two years. Next summer it will be done again.

Yep! At Tirrena, Italy. Was at the nearby Basa Maria at the mouth of the Arno Rive. It is a small closed Italian Special Forces installation adjacent to the Italian Presidents retreat. We were there to isolate for a joint exercise with them but had a few days of downtime before we isolated to plan our notional missions and thus had a chance to see some of the sights, like the leaning tower in Pisa.
Tirrena is a town on the coast noted for good restaurants and selling alabaster sculptures. Don’t remember the name of the restaurant but they served the whole squid cooked as part of a dish that had a variety of seafood supposedly caught fresh that day and the ink had flowed out in a gelatinous blob around the squid. One bite and I knew I shouldn’t had done that! Had to separate the ink from the squid and eat around it after I got that terrible taste out of my mouth.

AI update. I was at the hospital yesterday. Employees are streamlined better than ever which is good. Problem is creating false medical records and not correcting them and then letting AI free to use them. Employees made zero effort to learn who is my PCP. Today the hospital AI contacts me offering to send my most recent records to a PCP that I haven’t seen in 5 years. The AI didn’t give me the option to give my current PCP. For years the hospitals have failed to keep proper records. I wonder if this creates extra costs for doctors. I have seen them send records to doctors that no longer practice in the area. 2nd area of false records is when patient has bad reaction to Rx. They don’t believe it. They refuse to record it. If they do record it they will only record 1 negative symptom not the whole gamut the patient suffers every time a doctor bully’s them into taking something they know they can’t. I honestly think it’s unethical for medical staff to reassure the patient that they won’t die from the symptoms they just have to tough it out. I think that when your heart is jumping out of your chest from the medicine and there’s many like me maybe it’s time to put some research towards something that helps without creating such side effects. They used to bully me to take Rx that made my stomach hurt – now I have bleeding ulcers. If something bad occurs the human medical staff now have a legal degree of separation from accountability for their actions – especially when it seems apparent that they have been threatened not to intervene with the AI which must create many conflicting feelings in the employees now subject to AI dominance. Personally I would be insulted first then the bargaining that it’s OK because bad outcomes can be blamed on AI softens the burn? Have they been reassured that AI won’t replace them? I know that experiments have been done with AI interacting with seniors with dementia. Is that training to replace humans?
