The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.
Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later.
Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.
I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He is making massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This term, he is weeding them out faster. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the healthy distrust of government and men with too much power held by our founders. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum on day 289 of the 2nd term of this very stable genius in the history of the kingdoms of this world in the year of our Lord 2025.

The first case is Coney Island Auto Parts, Inc. vs Burton. This case began as a question from a lower court ruling about timing, the timing allowed or limits of timing for vacating a previously entered judgment. The question before the Court is “Whether Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 60(c)(1) imposes any time limit to set aside a void default judgment for lack of personal jurisdiction.”
The second case is Hain Celestial Group vs Palmquist. Background, this is a products liability lawsuit that was filed in Texas against a company called Hain Celestial Group and they added a second company to the lawsuit – Whole Foods. During the earlier trials Whole Foods had been dismissed from the lawsuit.
There are two questions before the Court on this case:
The first is “Whether a district court’s final judgment as to completely diverse parties must be vacated when an appellate court later determines that it erred by dismissing a non-diverse part at the time of removal?”
and the second question is “Whether a plaintiff may defeat diversity jurisdiction after removal by amending the complaint to add factual allegations that state a colorable claim against a non-diverse party when the complaint at the time of removal did not state such a claim?”

The second question, in my complete non-lawyer layman understanding is that the people who sued the product manufacturer (Hain) were pissed off that their addition of Whole Foods didn’t get past judicial scrutiny, a typical or as my late husband would say, they were looking for deep pockets and the lower courts said no, not this time, yet, the lawyers for the plaintiff have created a linguistic loophole out of whole cloth and the court is considering if the word-salad can fly for future deep pocket hunters.

they failed to add proper allegations against that second company.
the judge dismissed the second company from the case.
in appeals they added allegations against the dismissed company.
The actual issue involves moving the case from state to federal court. Federal courts have jurisdiction if multiple states are involved. Accusers and Whole foods were in TX. Filed in state court. Hains in Delaware. Removing Whole Foods put case in federal court where Hains won. Basically accusers wanting a major redo.
Can plaintiffs add accusations in appeals? (second question)
Can appellate courts overrule findings of facts of District courts concerning diversity of parties?
I’m not a legal expert, but this seems to address a part of law that separates fact finding and judgement. The original judge determines the facts. Not appellate courts. When the Schiavo case dragged on, eventually new technologies were developed that could better judge brain death, but the original ruling could not be undone or even re-asked. This also plays into making it hard to get a new trial when new evidence may exonerate a criminal.
Perversely, this is also a double jeopardy question in civil suits. How many tries do accusers get? How many times do defendants have to win, before the lawsuits end?
It is also a question about undoing bad lawyering.
BTW, “Maryland Man gets Do-Over Justice. No matter how many judges rule he should be deported, he always gets more ‘due process’ when the deportation orders are to be carried out.

My only point was that Trump is the man in the arena, and is up against incredible odds that none of us can truly fathom, unless we are there in that arena taking those blows, and what is needed right now is support and unity, as there is no one else that even comes close to being able to lead us against this enemy.

For 28 years, I have lived in a small city in Northern Essex County Massachusetts seacoast area on the New Hampshire border. Historically, for a variety of reasons, it is a known, and earned a reputation as a high property tax municipality.
For the first time, the Mayor and an obliging City Council, have put a proposition 2 1/2 override on the ballot:
QUESTION 1. Shall the City of Amesbury be allowed to assess an additional $6,000,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of funding the operating budgets of the City and of the Public Schools for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026?
The ONLY reason I am going to the polls today is to vote on this matter.
While there is a contested race for Councilors at Large and School Committee, I assume, unless proven otherwise this morning when I intend to query some of the candidates before I walk into the polls, that everyone running is a member of the local uniparty.
Eschewing the poison of social media for sometime now, and no longer ‘civically engaged’ as I was for almost 25 years, I have no idea about the particularly ideology and connections of the city council challengers and school committee challengers.
Thus, I tried a little interweb sleuthing last night.
One challenger for councilor-at-large is the co-owner of a brewery that hosted the campaign launch for the re-election of the current mayor a couple years ago. So, effectively, he is in lot with her.
He is the only candidate among councilor and school committee challengers who has even bothered to put up a campaign website. That website included a contact phone number. I called him at 8 p.m. last night and there was no answer on the eve of an election. I texted him and asked him how he is voting on the override. It will be interesting if I receive a response this morning.

My District Councilor worked for NOAA from 2004 to 2019. Her starting salary of $60K is probably in line with what an Assistant Professor of Ecology makes at a ‘good’ college or university. Ecology, no matter how professional ecologists describe themselves, is a collection of the data and models of the living realm, in effect, the SOCIAL SCIENCE of biology.
While I am not entirely surprised, her pay raises throughout the years as federal employee are SHOCKING.
In private sector sales, a quasi meritocracy, even with excellent sales performance, a 3% pay increase is noteworthy. The only time one receives a noticeable pay increase is when negotiating a move to a new employer.

I live clear across the country from you. I too did research on the local candidates running for (somewhat insignificant) positions on the ballot. They too seemed to think the positions were somewhat insignificant, because fully 90% of the candidates didn’t have a web site. So I went to Ballotpedia to get more information about the candidates. Once again, 90% didn’t bother to complete information forms that might be posted there.
Meaning, I could find nothing about 90% of the candidates running for office. Could not ascertain why they chose to run, nor how they thought they might be the best choice. And as you experienced, offices did not answer calls — if one could find a phone number at all.
Consequently, 90% of my ballot was left blank.
Most politicians here in Florida won’t even admit whether they are dimocrat or repulsican.

At the bright hour of 7 a.m., 2 prospective school committee candidates and the brewery owner running for councilor at large were out doing meet and greet to potential voters. I at least give them credit for that, as no other challengers or imcumbents gave the voters the courtesy of meeting them.
One candidate for School Committee also held a “Yes” vote sign, so I did not bother querying her. I approached a 2nd school committee candidate, with bright red signs and a red hat similar in color to what President Trump wears. Superficially, he projected ‘potential right leaning’ candidate, although NO candidate in this town would ever wear a MAGA hat.
I asked him, “How are you voting on the override?”
He momentarily hemmed and hawed and I cut him off, “I would like a straight up ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer.”
Resignedly, he looked at me, “Yes,” I shook my head and walked over to the brewery co-owner.
For context, when I receive an incoming phone call, whether in past corporate employment, or now, with my own business, I answer the phone. At 8 p.m. on the eve of an election, I would imagine that a candidate for Councilor-at-Large would be eager to respond to a potential voter. Additionally, it was the mayor and 9 members of the City Council who VOTED to put the override question on the ballot.
I greeted him and mentioned that I had called and texted him last evening and reiterated, “How are you going to vote on the override?”
He replied coyly that in the United States, we reserve the right not to disclose how we vote.
I replied, “You are running for office,” thinking that there is nothing else on the ballot other than a proposition 2 1/2 override.
Thus, I did not vote for a single candidate for office, though I DID cast my vote on the override question.
As I drove past him away, I noted, “You are a card-carrying member of the local uniparty.”
“I don’t even know what that is,” he replied, adding, “It was nice to greet you!”
while i can imagine these NE liberal bastions are worse than average, it feels like EVERY municipality is on the hunt for more funds. they never seem to explore other ways to optimize or scale back.
and strangely, even after asking and they get what they want, they are always back quickly demanding more. and services never improve.
They keep asking for more, in large part, because of the school bonds they are issuing on the interest only, of the previous school bonds. They are not retiring the principle on the previous bonds.
School districts create Central Appraisal Districts. School District Superintendents sign off on how much more money is needed, and the appraisal districts raise the home appraisals to come up with that amount! It’s widespread fraud.
School superintendents are paid $300K-$500K a year to sign off on fraud.

Little noted but key to the ongoing revelations about Comey, Artic Frost and a whole range of issues is the “hidden room” and “burn bag” discovers that go back at least to 2016 and before. This “shoehorn” technique works like this: If there’s a hot news story that the media’s gonna talk about with or without you, opt for the “with” and shoehorn yourself into the storyline.
For example, tomorrow morning, there’s gonna be tons of news stories about Election Day in New York City. You know it, I know it, and your neighbor knows it! So, if you’re a no-name NYU historian who just wrote a book about New York’s political past, the easiest, quickest way to land top-tier media coverage — and sell some freaking copies — is to offer media outlets an intriguing perspective of the Mamdani-Cuomo-Sliwa race.
I mean, you could try promoting your book directly, focusing on your thesis and key historical takeaways. (And eventually, someone, somewhere will probably cover it.) But by a ridiculously wide margin, the path of least resistance is to figure out what the media is gonna talk about anyway — and then “poach” the storylines.
