Sooooo true, Patience!
We had squirrels destroy our roof, eat the wiring in our vehicles, and actually eat their way up through the floor into the bathroom! They were doing the backstroke in our toilet when we saved their sorry butts and moved them out to the Santa Cruz River Squirrel Resort and Spa! – actually trapped 37 of them and transferred them there. Ours are desert rock squirrels and live underground rather than in trees.
And…….the doggos did warn us!

Yes, very moderated temperatures and much appreciated! 49° this am. Brrrrrr!
But, as is usual for desert areas – 90° this afternoon.
Highs are predicted to be in the 80’s for the coming week.
Louisa and Olive are doing so well, that I literally give thanks every day when we feed them. They have been a gift to each other – isn’t that something?! ❤️
Good afternoon Patience. Oh these two images are great! Laughed and giggled. My Beau barks at the squirrels all the time. They know he is on the other side of the fence so they sit in the tree and torment him, chirping and making all sorts of noises, like they are cussing him out! They want to come inside the yard to eat the seeds in the birdfeeders, but Beau is ever watchful at my office window and sees them come over the fence and immediately wants out! He has almost caught one a few times, as they barely made it climbing the fence to then jump into the tree.

You guys have to watch this. IDF soldiers saved a dog from Gaza, brought him to Israel, and found him a lovely home with a loving family. Look at how happy he is.

for gasoline.
( sticker shock, in a good way.
The lower prices can have a ripple affects upon other commodities that have energy related costs to get to consumers )
p.s. I ( positively ) complained to the gas station attendant about the gas price.
( whom was worn down from 3 -4 years of negative complaints about rising gas prices )
The attendant smiled. : )

Should it be a requirement of people to reveal their source of mis, mal or good information that is included in what one reads or writes – and then shares with another person?

Like King Solomon said, there is nothing new under the sun. Doubtful that anything we read or write or even think for that matter hasn’t already been visited (at least in part) by another. Does a sculptor give credit to the guy who invented the hammer?
At some point I guess everything out there “belongs” to everybody else. Like this gem I came across.

Open thread: I’ll bite. The question is to be poised either here or on the Snugbus, where I’d get ruder replies.
I’m wondering about the viewing of vids on this phone. Problem is, the language of the vid sometimes starts out in English and then changes to foreign. Sometimes to Spanish and sometimes to other languages, one recently was Germanic but not German.
Watching JD Rucker talk English is a trip in itself, but when he’s talking a different unknown language it is just too much.
Many sites bring this on: this one sometimes, youtube vids, other site’s vids. When the hex is on, vids start in English and then go foreign. Some start with known English speakers going foreign from the start. I can’t seem to select a language on this iPhone 8.
Any help appreciated, I am fairly ignorant.
But at least I live in a good neighborhood. In this voting precinct of bigger than 50 sq mi, 37 people voted in Nov’24 for president. The Harris ticket got 4 votes. I can see fifty miles but can’t see another house.
So the vid language is not a real big thing. If I can’t fix it, then I’ve eliminated just another time waster, right?
