Why do we even have Immigration Laws?
Well it seems pretty obvious to me, but apparently many in our country don’t know or care.
Maybe if some very capable writer would write a piece about the purpose of our immigration laws and outline what current law is.
Maybe include a bit of history of our immigration objectives (well managed and mutually beneficial). Including many examples of past presidents and key politicians statements on the need to have a secure boarder and managed immigration.
Then outline the most recent problems with illegals coming across our southern boarder from Clinton through our current situation and exposing how the Biden administration created an extremely huge issue with a virtually open boarder an economic incentives for millions of illegals to come into our country coupled with Blue City Sanctuaries.
Discuss the economic hit on local and state finances along with required resource issues for schools, medical, traffic, crime, welfare, etc.
Then ask why would some politicians (Democrats) support and advocate for this while hurting the citizens they represent- added census(added representation) and possibly added illegal votes. Retain power and control
Why are certain mayors and governors resisting the federal government adhering to federal laws to get our immigration system back on track to get rid of the crime and burden from unlawful illegals coming into our country. Do they not believe we should have immigration laws and well managed immigration procedures.
Of course, I don’t really believe an article like this would do much good even if had widespread exposure, but gives me a chance to rant about how stupid so many people in our country are resisting immigration control.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) singled out California for what it called “gross negligence,” saying more than 25% of CDLs issued to noncitizens or non-permanent residents were improperly granted.

I warned a nonprofit friend years ago that it was a bad idea to put all of their contacts and the amounts donated on software that could be accessed by others – and sold to others without knowledge or consent.
I suspected ( back in Obama’s days) that the push to have non profits file donor info with secretary of states as well as entities entities such as Sales Force and Jitasa were being abused to identify legit businesses confidential donor info In order to target them politically or be unknowingly used as pass throughs for laundering or embezzlement.. IRS was being used then as well.
ImI could go on about why I think this is much bigger than just sales force, but this just confirms my suspicions that there was an organized infrastructure used to secretly launder money (a La USAid Act Blue, etc) and to siphon money from legitimate businesses without their knowledge.

Remember the Supreme court said district judges could not issue nationwide TRO’s, only in their district unless a class action suit was filed. I think this could be to stall Trump until they can get a class action suit together. I don’t see the Supreme Court being on the side of those playing those kind of games. I think Trump wins.

that can be traded with other reasonable countries.
That being said, the U.S. has improved A LOT of trade deals this year and that is honorable – and good for the USA.
That being said, there are more trade deals to accomplish… that could help to balance
the overall trading.
( fair trading is far, FAR from automatic and is not easy when done well. The USA has gotten the proverbial short end of the stick, for decades – at huge cost to the USA (and huge benefit to other countries. )
